I am looking for day and night postpartum doulas, a birth doula, postpartum mental health therapist, lactation consultant, and pelvic floor therapist for this fall. I live in Los Angeles and Southbay of LA.
Hospital: Little company of Mary Providence hospital Torrance, CA ESTIMATED Doula budget $ 3,000 I would like to give birth in the hospital, with low dose epidural. Minimal interventions, need coaching with breathing techniques. Prevent severe vaginal tears.
I gave a birth on March, 12th. It’s my first baby and I am looking for a night nanny/doula for a couple of days a week to have some rest from night shifts. My baby is sleeping most of the time during the day but she is restless during the night. I would love to get support in it, especially, at the very beginning. I am breastfeeding myself but I am ok with having someone to watch my daughter between feeding hours.
Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first child early August. We’re so excited for baby boy’s arrival! With that, we’d love to connect- are you available as a night time doula after baby boy arrives? If so, can you please share pricing? We do not have family nearby, and we’re first time parents trying to navigate our growing family, learning how to care for baby boy, and managing sleep! Thanks!
Hi! We are expecting a baby girl in August and are looking for a nighttime nanny or newborn care specialist to help during the early postpartum weeks. Schedule: - 10–12 hour overnight shifts - 4–5 nights per week - For approximately 9–12 weeks Primary responsibilities would include: - Caring for the baby during the night (soothing, diapering, feeding support) - Helping keep me on my overnight pumping schedule - Washing and preparing bottles/pump parts - Supporting healthy newborn sleep habits / gentle sleep training - Light baby-related tasks during the night We are a warm, respectful family located in Redondo Beach, and we’re hoping to find someone experienced with newborns who is calm, reliable, and knowledgeable about postpartum recovery and infant sleep. If interested, please reach out with: - Your experience with newborn care - Availability around August - References - Your typical overnight rate Thank you!
Postpartum doula First 2 weeks: 2–3 short daytime visits per week about 2–4 hours each (check-ins without feeling like someone is “living in your house”, newborn guidance as questions come up, recovery support, confidence building breaks to shower/eat/rest). (2 weeks x 3 days x 2hrs = 12hrs) Weeks 3–6: taper to: 1 visit/week or “as-needed” visits (sleep feeding rhythms, fussiness/gas, recovery/emotions, returning confidence). (1 day x 2hrs x 4 weeks = 8 hrs) Prefer a doula who is: educational rather than highly hands-on, calm/low-energy presence, respectful of privacy, comfortable leaving you alone with the baby instead of hovering, flexible and non-rigid. I’m pretty private and don’t love having people in my space for long periods. I’m looking more for guidance, reassurance, and occasional help rather than someone constantly taking over baby care. Thanks!
I will give birth in the hospital. Budget varies depending on which service. Birth plan is tbd
We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery). Cleaning / cooking / laundry is unnecessary and is not a primary reason for our search but could definitely be beneficial!
postpartum doula or infant care specialist that can help us learn what we need to do, and support lactation uptake and sleep training
We’re looking for one person who can be both our Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula for overnight infant care. We’re located in South Redondo Beach Beach and would be giving birth at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Our Doula would need to meet Carrot requirements including certification. Looking forward to discussing further!
I want to deliver at home and Medicaid ,natural with no restrictions
Interested in VBAC support. After a traumatic first birth, I’m looking for a healing second birth.
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. I am hoping to get the majority of doula costs reimbursed by my insurance (UnitedHealthCare HMO Gold). I am 15 weeks into my first pregnancy, so I don't have a fully developed birth plan - hoping a doula can help with that! I do know that my goal is to have an unmedicated birth that is as low-intervention as possible. My partner and I did a reciprocal IVF cycle, so I am looking for someone who has experience with queer couples and knows how to use language that isn't heteronormative or super gendered.
Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. My insurance is Aetna Choice POS II, and my ID number is W2834 19281.
Hi, I am looking for an in-network doula who takes Anthem coverage for my EDD of Aug 31, 2026. This is my first pregnancy, and I would need both birth and post-partum support. Thank you
Postpartum doula for the weeks following a hospital birth. Budget TBD Will not need prenatal support at this time Hoping for someone who primarily cares for mom and helps with food prep + some support for the household (laundry, light cleaning, etc) Ideally also knows how to do massage for mom and belly binding
Experienced Night time doula English Bottle feeding Changing diapers
First time mom, need help with baby and help with breast feeding, also help with household chores
I plan to give birth at my hospital, Kaiser in Downey. This is my second pregnancy. My first birth was at Kaiser in Downey also (about 3 years ago), where I gave birth unmedicated. The staff knew I had done the Bradley Method course and knew my birth plan and honored it. I plan to give birth the same way, except this time I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes but hope to still have a healthy and unmedicated birth with minimal interventions. I had a doula for my first birth and would really like the hands on support, especially at birth. I would like to keep costs at $2,500 or less if possible and hope that I can have a doula that accepts my insurance. Thank you
