Hi there. My name is Kennadi… I live in Muskegon, Michigan and after experiencing a wonderful home birth in 2020 I became so excited to have the opportunity to become a birth and postpartum doula. I believe every birthing family has the right to their autonomy and voice, and I remain a fierce advocate and support for the wishes of each and every family. This passion will never die inside of me, so I am ready now and always to be there for those in need. You can do this! And I will lift you up while you do.
☆☆☆☆☆ - 5 stars I just want to start by saying that this woman is OUTSTANDING! Let that sink in real quick. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was absolutely terrified in every aspect. I was on my way to being a first time mom, and I had no clue what I was doing or even about to have to do once I had my baby. Someone suggested that I look into hiring a doula to assist me. So I started looking around, and that's when someone had suggested Kennadi. My first initial meeting with Kennadi went better than I could have imagined. She is very personable, and I immediately felt comfortable around her. She is very compassionate, nurturing, outgoing, helpful, knowledgeable, has great sense of humor, she is committed, and just an all around wonderful person. Throughout my pregnancy, she never once made me feel like I was alone. She helped me to feel more confident in my new adventure, and my big belly at the time. Kennadi was always checking in on me, and making sure that my pregnancy was going as well as it could. Being pregnant was tough, and pretty nerve wracking to be honest. But I can honestly say that it would have been much worse without her. When it came time for baby, it by no means went as I had hoped. But that's how pregnancy goes, right? Giving birth went from being scary, to what felt like an outright nightmare in minutes. Yet Kennadi was so supportive me, and cheered me on through everything. Even after birth, she has been so good to my new family and I. Having the extra support, made a world of difference, and having her specifically, by my side, I couldn't have asked for a better support system, truly. So with all that being said, if you are looking to make your birth experience as positive as possible, Kennadi is definitely the woman to have in your corner no doubt! 10/10 would highly recommend her and her services to anyone.

Sara provided doula services for me during my pregnancy and birth. She was very kind, patient and listened to me when i expressed my personal needs. She worked hard to provide me a safe and quiet place during labor. The way she advocated for me is something I truly missed out on during my previous pregnancy. She brought so many goodies, essential oils, honey sticks and provided plenty of massages. She just knew what i needed and it really helped to have her there. When i think back to the birth of my son i can hear her voice reassuring me through the process, so nurturing and affirming!

Kristin was a god send. She was constantly available and there to answer questions or put my worries to rest. The day I went into labor she was at the hospital so quick, put my husband and I at ease, and even took beautiful photos of the birth (which is what I asked) I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

I grew up in west Michigan, cradled by the crescent moon grin of the Great Lakes. My desire to become a doula first took root in experiences I had volunteering with local organizations and non-profits when I was in high school. My passion for community-based care began in the basement of a neighborhood church, where I first volunteered with a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families find and keep secure housing for their children. From these initial experiences, I got to witness first-hand how important it is for families to be well-informed and unconditionally supported in order to thrive together. The roots of my work as a doula and student midwife are the same as they were back then, before I even began birth work : when families are given non-judgemental support and evidence-based education during their transition into parenthood, they can have the most satisfying, empowering experience possible. As a doula, I emphasize a client-centered approach where you are seen as the expert in your own care; together, using support and education, we will create a birth / postpartum plan that supports the health and well-being of you, your baby, and your support team.

Holland Township, Michigan
Hi! My name is Alexa, I am a Holland native, I am a birth doula, and I would love to be apart of your birth team. I have a background in History, and graduated from Hope College. While at school I had the opportunity to learn about all the ways in which women have given to this world through our bodies. We are truly incredible! I also learned the sobering reality that so many women are systematically disempowered during pregnancy and birth. My greatest desire is to be apart of the solution to change that! I don't want a single woman laboring alone or in fear. I am here to help you help yourself. I approach doula work with the belief that women should be cared for throughout their pregnancy, including after your birth. Continuity of care insures none of your experiences fall through the cracks. I do through 24/7 accessibility to my clients up to 4 weeks after birth, should you have questions and concerns. This also includes, one, two hour visit, to go over your birth and to discuss all the highs and lows. Your experience of pregnancy and birth shouldn't end when you meet you baby, so neither should your care! I am a DONA trained doula as well as a birth assistant and student midwife. Please reach out with any questions about my education. I would love to meet you and discuss how I can be an asset in your birth journey!

Hello! I'm Logan! My journey to becoming a doula was deeply influenced by my own personal experiences with childbirth. I've experienced a range of birth scenarios, including two cesarean sections, and three VBAC births. After my initial two C-sections, I felt a strong desire for a better birth experience. This led me to immerse myself in research about birth and VBAC options. With the knowledge I gained, I felt empowered to pursue a VBAC and was successful in achieving three vaginal births. I am passionate about educating and empowering other women to understand their options and feel supported in making the best choices for their own birth journey. I'm here to support you, as together we research, learn, and prepare for the birth you envision. I'm proud to be a certified doula through the West Michigan Midwifery Institute, and I'm committed to providing compassionate and informed support to every woman I serve.
When I got pregnant with our fourth child my husband and I both knew without a doubt that we wanted Logan to be our doula. She’s everything a pregnant momma could ask for! Logan is a great encourager, advocate, and educator. She takes the time to listen to other people’s needs and desires and works to make those a reality. I have complicated pregnancies and Logan made sure to take the time to do some research regarding my needs, pointed me to many valuable resources, and helped me think through what the best options were for me. She is honest, yet gentle and genuinely cares about those she works with. Logan was willing to go to doctors appointments with me as well to help voice my desires when my OB was unwilling to listen to or work with me. With her by my side I always felt much more at ease and prepared to welcome a precious new life into the world. I would choose Logan for a doula again every single time, hands down!
