About me

Hi, I’m Aerial Mason and I am a Dona trained birth and postpartum doula located in the Grand Rapids, MI. I’m a mom of two boys and a girl, and my own birth experiences, including an emergency C-section as a teen mom and two natural VBACs with minimal support led me to appreciate the power of advocacy and understanding evidence-based care. I believe in calm, respectful, and empowering support for the whole family and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where parents feel more connected, heard, informed, and confident in their choices. In my free time, I enjoy being active with my kids, going to the beach or to our favorite sunset spots! As well as time in our single mom support groups.

I offer personalized birth support including prenatal education, birth planning, advocacy, and emotional support for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I have experience supporting teen moms, single parents, VBAC and C-section preparation, sibling transitions, and families navigating trauma or partners who need extra guidance. I focus on evidence-based, compassionate care and accept Medicaid, with virtual services available.
