About me

Hi! My name is Jimena, and I am passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My philosophy as a doula is centered on advocacy, education, and compassionate support. I believe every person deserves to feel informed, respected, and empowered throughout their birth experience. My goal is to help make every step of pregnancy and birth as comfortable, calm, and supported as possible. I strive to create a safe space where families feel heard, confident in their choices, and fully supported during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

Service introduction

I offer birth and postpartum doula support focused on providing advocacy, education, and compassionate care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. My services include prenatal visits to discuss birth preferences, comfort measures, and preparation for labor, as well as continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during labor and birth. I also provide immediate postpartum support to help with recovery, feeding, and bonding. After birth, I offer postpartum care that includes newborn care guidance, infant feeding support, emotional support for parents, and light help around the home related to baby care. My goal is to help families feel informed, confident, and supported while creating the most comfortable and positive experience possible during this important transition.

- Includes free consultation - 1 prenatal visit - On-call support starting at 37 weeks - 1 postpartum visit. Additional prenatal visits: $50 each Additional postpartum visits: $40–$50 each

Postpartum Doula Support

-Newborn care guidance (feeding, soothing, sleep basics) Infant feeding support (breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle feeding) -Emotional support and recovery support for the birthing parent -Light household help related to baby care (baby laundry, bottle washing, tidying baby areas) -Helping parents rest and adjust to their new routine -Minimum booking: 4 hours daytime (25/hr) 8 hours overnight (30/hr)

Why did you become a doula?

I became a doula because I’m passionate about supporting expecting families during such an important time in their lives. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period can bring many emotions and questions, and I want families to feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. Being invited to support someone during one of the most meaningful and special days of their life is truly a privilege that I don’t take lightly.

When should I hire a doula?

Many families hire a doula during the second trimester, but it’s never too late to reach out. Booking earlier helps ensure availability and allows more time for prenatal support and planning.

How long will you stay during labor?

I stay with you throughout active labor and birth and remain for a short time afterward to help with initial recovery, feeding, and bonding.

What if my birth doesn’t go according to plan?

Birth can be unpredictable, but my role is to support you through whatever path your birth takes and help you feel informed and supported every step of the way.

How do you support partners during labor?

Partners are an important part of the birth experience. I help guide and support partners by suggesting comfort techniques, explaining what is happening during labor, and helping them stay involved while also giving them space to rest when needed.
