I truly don’t even know where to begin because words don’t feel adequate to describe what Nicole has meant to our family. From the very beginning of my pregnancy through labor, birth, and now postpartum, she has been there every step of the way. She checked in on me constantly, always making sure I was okay physically and emotionally. She wasn’t just someone I hired—she became family. At no point did our relationship ever feel like a business transaction. It felt deeply personal, genuine, and full of love and care. I honestly don’t know how she’s able to be so available, but somehow she’s always just one text or phone call away. No matter what came up, she always had a resource, solution, or piece of guidance. Whether it was prenatal exercises (which actually helped turn my baby from a malposition less than 2 weeks before delivery!), postpartum questions, breastfeeding support, emotional encouragement, or simply someone to talk to, she always knew exactly what I needed. She also helped me through so many stressful life events that weren’t even pregnancy-related. She offered wisdom through interpersonal situations, helped me process emotions, and was a steady source of support during one of the biggest seasons of my life. She truly says, “You’ve got me for life,” and after experiencing her care firsthand, I believe she means every word. Nicole has such a special gift for empowering moms. She created a birth plan that respected every one of my personal wishes. During my high-risk pregnancy, she helped me advocate for myself and even advocated alongside me in the hospital. She never pressured me into making any decisions, never made me feel judged, and always presented information in a way that helped me make confident, informed choices about my own care. Her knowledge of the Kaiser system was invaluable. She was incredibly professional while also being warm and personable. She communicated seamlessly with the nurses and doctors, knew how to navigate the hospital environment, and helped make what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable. Everything up to that point had shown me she was an exceptional doula, but watching her during labor showed me why she was born to do this work. Labor itself is where Nicole became absolutely priceless. My contractions started around 3:00 in the morning, and from that moment on, Nicole was right there with me—even before we left for the hospital. We stayed in constant communication by phone and text while she timed my contractions through an app, talked me through each wave, answered my questions, and helped me determine when it was finally time to head to Kaiser. We arrived at the hospital around 7:00 AM, and she arrived just minutes later, ready to jump in and support us. When my contractions became incredibly intense, I genuinely don’t know how I would have gotten through the pain—or honestly, the entire labor experience—without her. While I was crying through contractions, she remained calm and grounded. She adjusted the lighting to create a peaceful environment, coached my breathing, used comfort techniques to help manage my pain, and stayed completely focused on helping me cope until I was finally able to receive my epidural. She also communicated my needs to the hospital staff and helped advocate for quicker pain relief when I needed it most. Having someone so calm and compassionate by my side made all the difference. In the middle of one of the hardest days of my life, she became my calm. From that point on, she stayed with us the entire day and didn’t leave until nearly 11:00 PM, after I had finally been transferred to my postpartum room—and only after making sure I was already scheduled with a lactation consultant. That’s the level of care she provides. She doesn’t just show up for the birth; she walks with you through every step until she knows you’re truly taken care of. Everything she recommended throughout my pregnancy helped prepare me for labor. Her advice was practical, evidence-based, and incredibly reassuring. I truly felt like I could trust her. All I had to do was listen, and she helped make the entire process go as smoothly as possible. Even now, she continues to support me through postpartum with the same compassion, encouragement, and availability she’s shown from the beginning. I genuinely feel like I’ve gained a close friend and another member of our family. Nicole has the right heart for this work. Not everyone can be a doula, but this is absolutely her calling. She has a rare gift for caring for women and families during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives, and it shows in everything she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and selfless. I could honestly go on and on. If you’re wondering whether hiring a doula is worth it, let me tell you this: you don’t know what you need from a doula—but Nicole does. She anticipates needs you didn’t even know you had, and once you’ve experienced that kind of support, you’ll wonder how anyone ever gives birth without one. I fully plan to continue using her services even after my insurance-covered visits are over because her care is simply priceless. There are very few investments you’ll make during pregnancy that have this kind of impact, and I can say without hesitation that she is worth every penny. I believe God brought Nicole into our lives for a reason, and I will always be grateful that He did. You will not regret choosing Nicole.

Nicole was an amazing doula for my wife and I. The best decision I made during my pregnancy was choosing Nicole to be my Doula. I met Nicole later in my pregnancy. I was in my third trimester but she taught me so much in that short span of time. Just delivered my first baby at 36 years old. I was extremely anxious about labor/ delivery going into pregnancy and when finding out I was pregnant did a lot of research, appointments, and interviews to find someone I felt comfortable with to help me through this journey. This was my third pregnancy, never had a doula before, and Nicole was one of the first few doulas that reached out to me. From the moment I first spoke to her about doula care and how she would be able to support me in my next pregnancy, I felt that she was the one I wanted to be my doula. She was very honest, up front, and encouraging about her services, and what she thought of my birth plan desires. Once we decided to work together, she was extremely patient with me as I worked with my insurance to get them to cover the care (although I was also willing to pay out of pocket)! She was very responsive to my texts and calls; she had a back up doula for me during a time when there was a chance she might not have been able to support my labor should I have gone into labor while she was away. Thankfully she was present during the time I decided to have baby and was willing to roll with my changes in birth plan. She supported me 100% through my original plan and the one that actually happened. Even in the postpartum phase she’s been checking on me and supporting my healing process. Nicole is a great doula. She has a calming presence that made the lead-up to my baby's birth way less stressful. Maybe my favorite thing about her is her openness and desire to facilitate the birth experience that her clients want. I had and wanted an elective c-section, and Nicole was very supportive. Then when I changed my plans at the last minute and wanted my partner in the operating theater, she rolled with the punches. Nicole was always available and willing to answer my questions. Omg where do i even start... Nicole is a wonderful woman I'm so blessed and grateful to have had her as a support system. The cherry on top is that I already knew her personally through family relations. I got connected with her late in my pregnancy due to financial reasons but that didn't get in the way of her providing her services to me. Not only is Nicole attentive and kind but she is extremely helpful when providing information and help with your providers if you're ever having difficulty attaining one or general issues. I'd love love love to be able to continue connecting with her especially when the time comes to have another child. If you have the opportunity to talk/network with her I strongly suggest that you give her a shot!

When I got pregnant I thought it was just going to be me and my husband in that labor room! Nicole helping me throughout it was the best experience! Guiding me through healthy nutrition and labor ready exercises that helped in courage dilation and labor! My goal was to have a natural birth but I ended up choosing epidural due to severe pain caused from some labor complications. Throughout me fighting the contractions, she was right there present, supportive, and AWAKE the whole time (I was in labor for 3 days)! She helped me use my voice to speak up and ask about the effects of certain medications they were pushing me to take, and reminded me if I don’t agree with a certain medication that I can always say no. My birth was quite traumatic, and I don’t think I could have done it without her! Post-partum wasn’t too bad. She checked up on me almost every day, sending positive affirmations and encouragement. She also sent information about diapers distributions and food distributions. She also helped me apply for EDD and WIC! I am now 4 months postpartum and me and my baby girl are as healthy as can be!
