As soon as I became pregnant, I started looking for the best ways for support. After all this was my first pregnancy and I’ve heard from my sister how amazing her doula made her experience. I found Carli, at meet and greet event for doulas. She was the first person I met with that day, and I instantly felt that Carli should be MY doula. She was amazing!! She exudes confidence!! I knew she’d be a great support for me during labor and delivery, I just never fully understood until it happened. She spoke kindly, and empowering words towards me. When I felt scared or too tired to keep going she reminded me how far I’ve come and how close we were to meeting our little girl. She really never left my side. She was the ultimate support, constantly sending me positive energy and encouragement. Reminding me that I can do this. She comforted me, and guided my husband to feel confident in his role during labor and delivery. from teaching him counter- pressure techniques when I was in early labor, to educating us on hospital procedures to prepare us for the ideal birth experience. My favorite thing she said was “it’s temporary the feeling of discomfort is temporary, you’re so close to meeting your baby girl.” She captured precious moments, and put together the absolute best birth video that my husband and I will cherish forevermore. I’m so happy Carli was my doula throughout this entire experience, I can’t express enough how comforting and empowering having her by my side was, as I went through such a life changing experience.

Hello Moms! I’m a Birth Doula, (Dona trained) 4th Trimester Doula and Infant Natural Health Coach. I’m concerned with the lack of vitality in Americas children and have spent years researching the root causes behind colic and reflux, allergies and constipation. I believe a healthy natural pregnancy and birth are key steps in a vibrant baby. I’m passionate about helping you create that Vibrant new life!
We had the privilege of working with Shonnie during our third pregnancy, which was considered high-risk due to two previous shoulder dystocias with our first two children. Initially, we were strongly considering a C-section, but with Shonnie’s support and expertise, we decided to pursue a natural birth—and we are so glad we did! From the moment we connected with Shonnie, she was an incredible source of help and encouragement. In the weeks leading up to labor, she assisted us with stretching, positioning, and coaching to prepare for birth. She gave us the confidence and guidance we needed to feel empowered going into labor. During active labor, Shonnie was invaluable in helping us stay calm, keep moving, and avoid an epidural for as long as possible. Her presence made all the difference. She was an amazing advocate for us throughout the labor and delivery process, and thanks to her support, we delivered our baby successfully—without any shoulder dystocia! We couldn’t be more grateful for Shonnie’s kindness, professionalism, and support. She made our birthing experience so much more positive, and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dedicated doula.

For all of history, up until the last century or two, birth was a uniquely feminine and sacred event supported by midwives, mothers, sisters, friends, and neighbors. Mothers were given the space, trust, and respect to intuitively birth their children, just as their bodies were designed to. In the 20th century, the modernization of birth care, intended to increase safety, unfortunately pushed labor support out the picture. Doctors became more concerned with outcomes alone than with the transformative experience of birth, itself. The emergence of doulas in the developed world was a desperate and necessary response to the all-too-common technocratic birthing model that has changed society’s entire view and practice of giving birth. The culture of non-medical labor support is thankfully not lost. Women deserve the same sanctity, respect, and space to do what their bodies know best now, as they did for all those centuries. I believe supporting the birth experience in its traditional light is my calling.
Sariah is the perfect mix of every trait you could want in a doula. Fun, lighthearted, sooo deeply compassionate and empathetic, exceptionally knowledgeable, excellent under pressure, and full of passion for and belief in birth. She has so many tricks up her sleeve to keep births moving along, help resolve positional issues, and increase your comfort during labor. She also has amazing herbal knowledge to support all stages of the process. Sariah was a godsend at both my homebirths. She perceived my needs before I ever expressed them. She kept me fed, watered, cool and comfortable. She provided counter pressure with an endless well of patience and strength. She took care of me during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with such love and I am forever grateful! Also: she is a baby whisperer and is amazing with kids of all ages! You won’t find a more capable, knowledgeable or passionate doula. I highly recommend her to every pregnant momma 💗

Hello, my name is Nicolle Benjamin. I am a DONA International trained Birth Doula working towards my certification. I am very passionate about all things birth work and I truly enjoy serving people. I believe birth is a sacred experience and should be protected. I also believe it can be peaceful and empowering for parents. As a doula my goal is to create an atmosphere that is safe and comfortable, make sure you feel confident throughout the whole process, and for you to have a positive birth experience with no judgement or bias. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband and cooking/baking.
Nicolle took me on as a client very late in my pregnancy and was nothing short of amazing. She was so supportive and available and without her help, my birth experience would not have turned out as beautifully. She captured some amazing images and covered me in prayers that I would have the “redemptive birth” of my dreams. I wish I could go back and experience it all over again. My husband and I are eternally grateful for her beautiful gift. I highly recommend her, especially if you are walking in Christ. She is one of a kind.

As a doula and a mother of three precious girls, my journey into the world of birth support began with a deeply personal experience—the delivery of my first child. In that transformative moment, I discovered a profound passion for birth and a calling to empower mothers as they navigate the miraculous journey of bringing new life into the world. My mission is rooted in fostering connection and understanding during the birthing process, not only with the birthing mother but also with their partners. I believe in the power of compassionate support, education, and advocacy to ensure that every birthing experience is as empowering and fulfilling as possible. With each family I work with, my goal is clear: to provide unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement, helping couples to embrace this incredible journey with confidence and joy. Coeur D'Alene, Idaho
I am happily married to my best friend, and we are blessed with three wonderful sons. My interest in birth and breastfeeding has always been a passion of mine. The birth of my first son was at the hospital and was a life-changing experience that ignited a fire within me. I knew then that I wanted to support families as they welcomed, nourished, and nurtured new life. I became a certified doula in January of 2021 and began attending births. Being welcomed into someone's birth space is an incredible honor. Witnessing the transformative and miraculous experience of birth is truly awe-inspiring. In 2022, we welcomed our second baby at home, and the night and day difference in my experiences solidified my dream of becoming a midwife. I am excited to learn and grow as a student midwife and to serve families. When I am not attending births, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, and cooking.

Hi! I’m Lauran Lessard! Christian birth doula and birth photographer in Post Falls, Idaho. Supporting home and birth center births in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane, and North Idaho with faith-based care and storytelling. My journey and passion for birth began with my own experience. I ended up having a surprise home birth, where my husband ended up delivering our baby girl! This sparked desire to come alongside fellow mothers, offering guidance and support every step of the way. My desire is for you to walk away from your birth, with peace and confidence, knowing you are fully equipped for this next season of motherhood.
Caldwell, Idaho
My name is Mary Harvey. I am a Idaho Licensed and Nationally Certified home birth midwife. I serve from Caldwell, Idaho(suburb of Boise). My journey to becoming a midwife started as a young mother living in a small town with very limited resources for natural birth. That sparked a desire in me to seek a path so that women could have more natural and individual choices. I believe women are perfect and amazing and know how to birth in a beautiful way. They are expert at this whether it's their first baby or twentieth baby. As a midwife, my desire is to come alongside and support them as they learn this about themselves.

I have been part of the birth world for over 30 years. I have assisted birth since I was 20 years old. I have been a certified DONA doula for over 20 years and have loved every birth. I delivered all 9 of my children at home and respect the mother in her birth space. I believe that pregnancy is not an illness and childbirth is natural. I support and encourage women and families to be the ones making the decisions regarding their health and well-being. I feel women need to be involved in the decision-making process about the birth of their baby and what best meets their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. I started my formal midwifery journey in 2013 using Mercy In Action as my academic College, Better Birth as my skills institution and local Midwifes here in Idaho to be my mentors. I have attended more than 300 births in my training and am excited to be part of your birth experience.
