About me

Hello! My name is Dorene. I’m seeking a position as a night nanny or postpartum doula. My background is as a mother/baby/pediatric/lactation consultant and lower acuity NICU nurse for the last 20 years. I’m currently enrolled in a postpartum doula certification program and am very excited to use my education and experience in this new role. Services include: lactation support, light housekeeping, post surgical or vaginal recovery care, meal prep, late night/ overnight baby care, basic newborn care education and assistance with siblings. My goal is to leave your family feeling confident , well rested and on a positive breastfeeding journey while minimizing potential complications. Dorene was wonderful in helping and supporting my breastfeeding journey. She helped me with both my children in the early stages of breastfeeding. I felt supported emotionally and physically. I had negative experiences with others and she made me the most comfortable and really understood my concerns. She’s an amazing person and down to earth. I definitely recommend her.
