We had a wonderful experience working with Susy and her team at Baby N Doula Care. Susy supported us during the first couple of nights and was incredibly comforting, knowledgeable, and reassuring during such a new and overwhelming time. My husband and I had overnight help from Baby and Doula Care during the first seven weeks following our daughter’s birth. We had a long journey to parenthood and wanted to ensure both that our long-awaited baby had excellent care during the night and that we received enough sleep so that we could be more present with her during the day. We worked with both Susy (the owner) and Delmy and had an excellent experience! Both were professional, punctual, attuned to our baby's needs, and clearly knew how to effectively care for newborns. They are true baby experts who take their job very seriously. Both have calm energy and pleasant demeanors, cultivating an ideal, tranquil environment for new babies and overwhelmed parents. In addition, Delmy pointed out our daughter’s torticollis, which enabled her to get early treatment via physical therapy. They also helped out with laundry, bottle cleaning and preparation, and keeping the nursery tidy, among other tasks. Susy and Delmy were able to accommodate a somewhat last-minute schedule change that involved adding three more nights during a hectic period, which we appreciated. We would use their doula services for a potential second baby and would, without hesitation, recommend them to others!

I highly recommend Susy and her team for postpartum support! We primarily worked with CC who was such a welcome addition to our family. This was my second baby but first time working with a postpartum doula; my first was a terrible sleeper, so I knew I needed some extra help with my second. CC did overnights with us, and she was incredibly hands on, attentive, and loving to our newborn daughter and to me! CC and Susy also both provided a ton of emotional support as well as breastfeeding and sleep education. Andrea, who helps on the admin side, was also incredibly kind and flexible as we worked through paperwork, logistics, scheduling, and extending our contract when we weren’t ready to lose CC! My son was born early and had a number of minor but stressful health issues in the first couple months — Susy helped us navigate all of it, and brought a sense of calm, reassurance, and joy into our home. Susy not only managed to start helping me out earlier than planned, but her insights, assistance, and upbeat perspective were so valuable and appreciated during the first days and weeks at home. She made herself available for questions from both my husband and me, at all hours (even when she wasn’t on the clock). Susy provided us with tips and ideas on everything from nursery setup, daytime feeding schedules, pumping (and pumping schedules), how to take baby’s temperature, questions to ask our pediatrician, products to consider that were specific to issues we faced, and —perhaps most notably — how to get mom enough sleep! For the times Susy wasn’t able to be with us, she arranged for another newborn care specialist to help us out, and she was also excellent — we’re so grateful to both of them. Our baby continues to be a great sleeper, and I owe so much of that to Susy and team. If I have another baby, I will definitely be calling again!
