Hi, I am looking for an in-network doula who takes Anthem coverage for my EDD of Aug 31, 2026. This is my first pregnancy, and I would need both birth and post-partum support. Thank you
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. I am hoping to get the majority of doula costs reimbursed by my insurance (UnitedHealthCare HMO Gold). I am 15 weeks into my first pregnancy, so I don't have a fully developed birth plan - hoping a doula can help with that! I do know that my goal is to have an unmedicated birth that is as low-intervention as possible. My partner and I did a reciprocal IVF cycle, so I am looking for someone who has experience with queer couples and knows how to use language that isn't heteronormative or super gendered.
Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. My insurance is Aetna Choice POS II, and my ID number is W2834 19281.
CAPPA/DONA certified required for employer insurance coverage. Mandarin speaking a plus.
Looking for a Carrot postpartum doula, hospital, 12,000.
I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!
Cedar Sinai Beverly Hills or St. John's Santa Monica (will decide soon) Must be covered by insurance Natural Birth (Holistic Doctor)
I would like them to have a certification, to be experienced, and to speak English. Age doesn't really matter. Preferably someone over 30/35. BlueShield PPO.
I likely will have a C-section, and with a toddler and dog we would love some support during postpartum recovery, including lactation support, helping with my physical recovery (what to do, what to avoid) and help around the house (cooking, cleaning up, laundry). We have some family help but no one will be staying with us during the actual physical c section recovery. I have Athem Blue Cross PPO 040 and am based in Los Angeles. Member ID JQU48A72343 Group Number 499132
I will give birth in the hospital. Budget varies depending on which service. Birth plan is tbd
We are looking for a night time doula who can come 3 days a week for 3 weeks following our birth in early April
Hi, looking for pre/post partum care and a night nanny. Ideally looking for someone in mid city LA, but please be located in LA proper. currently live in Venice but is potentially moving to the east side. looking for help leading up to birth and after and additional night nurse helps as well.
I’m planning to give birth at a hospital and I’m looking for a doula who can support a calm, empowering, and informed birth experience. I’d like someone who can help advocate for me, communicate clearly with medical staff, and keep me grounded emotionally and mentally throughout labor. My estimated budget is flexible depending on services included. Ideally, I’d love guidance with pain-management techniques, breathing, reassurance, and support before, during, and shortly after birth. I’m also interested in postpartum support and possibly night nursing in the beginning if needed. Overall, I want to feel safe, supported, and confident throughout this process.
My name is Meghna. I’ll be a first time mom in June 4, 2026. I am interested to know if my insurance covers a doula and night nanny. Currently not sure of budget. My insurance is Cigna Healthcare
Doula services postpartum at our apartment and hopefully overnight as well. We have CIGNA insurance that will cover due less services so ideally it could be someone in network.
