About me

I’m Christine Goddard, a DONA-trained postpartum doula and child development specialist. My commitment is to support you and your family during your postpartum journey. With compassion and without judgement, I lean on evidence-based practices and techniques to guide and empower clients. While the new mother is the primary focus of care, it is essential to support all family members with empathy. Our goal throughout is to make your family self-reliant. As a mother of two grown children, I understand the crucial importance of support for parents and their children at every stage of development. For over 12 years, I have worked as a CASA (Court Appointment Special Advocate) for foster children. At times providing postpartum support and guidance. I’ve also worked for non-profit organizations to enhance child development and improve education for children in need. Historically, women have been able to utilize their “village”, (elders and those with experience), as mentors and guides for life changing moments like childbirth.Let me be that village for you!
