Service introduction
I offer both Birth and Postpartum Doula Services. As a Birth Doula, I focus on prenatal education, birth planning, comfort measures for labor and delivery, and advocacy at the hospital for things that will help you have the best birth. On the postpartum side, I work to ensure that feeding (breastfeeding and/or bottle and pumping) is well established and consistent. I work with the birth mother to process her birth experience and refer to mental health support if needed. Once the baby is settling into a feeding cycle, we work on establishing sleep routines and schedules. I also help with infant care such as diapering and bathing.

Ratings and reviews
I have know Gayle for over 20 years and she is an exceptional person. She is extremely bright, kind, thoughtful and would be my first choice to be by my side to help me deliver my baby and help me with pre and post partum care. She is very thoughtful and listens attentively to people and is a great advocate to all those she is caring for. I would trust her with my care wholeheartedly and as a pediatrician myself, I think you cannot find a better person to be a doula.

Gayle was great - very professional and very caring, as well as very easygoing. We did not have a straightforward labor, and she was there for us when we needed it. Excellent pre- and post-partum care as well.
- John Achenbach
She was very supportive. As a first time new mom with very little support she helped ensure my comfort and smooth birthing experience. My daughters 6 weeks old and loves her.

I would not hesitate to hire Gayle as my doula. Her wealth of experience giving birth to four children, including twins, as a mother and as a support to so many people would give me the utmost faith in her abilities. Her warm, comforting presence will help you through this journey with confidence and calm.
