Service introduction

What is The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy? Developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, Maya Abdominal Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive form of massage done on the abdomen, low back, and sacrum. The techniques help reposition organs that have shifted and now disrupt the flow of blood, lymph, nerves, and qi. This disruption causes congestion and blocks the body's self-healing abilities which impacts fertility and the health of many body systems, including the endocrine system. Please visit Arvigo Institute for more information. How does Maya Abdominal Therapy support fertility? By increasing circulation and balancing blood, qi, nerve, and hormonal flow to the abdomen, it can treat stress-related fertility issues, unexplained infertility, tubal blockages, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, irregular menstrual cycles, hormonal imbalances, hydrosalpinx, Asherman Syndrome, abdominal adhesions from surgeries, and more. Even if you are not having fertility issues, doing Maya Abdominal Massage three months before trying to get pregnant can create a better internal environment for pregnancy and reposition the uterus to prepare you for a healthier birth. The Maya work treats retroverted uterus, tilted uterus, and prolapsed uterus. OTHER CONDITIONS: Maya Abdominal Massage can treat menstrual irregularies, menstrual pain, PMS, fibroids, ovarian cysts, hot flashes, insomnia, incontinence, cystitis, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, IBS, headaches, low back pain, varicose veins and more. It is also excellent for stress reduction since it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows the heart rate and dilates blood vessels. Can men benefit from Maya Abdominal Massage? Absolutely! Maya Abdominal Massage is excellent for men’s fertility, digestion, stress, and low back pain. It can help raise low sperm count, improve morphology, and increase motility. And, it can help with digestive issues such as constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and acid reflux. It supports prostate health and treats an enlarged prostate and urinary difficulties. All of this as well as a potentially easier, quicker labor with consistent prenatal selfcare practice at home!

Ajeet is a master. I’m grateful that I found her. She didn’t just follow a scripted massage format but instead honed in on my soreness and issues. She moved my arm around to get to the knots, used cupping when necessary, and worked on my entire muscle group from neck to shoulder to back.

Ajeet truly has magic hands. I found her when I was 8 months pregnant and desperately looking for real relief. After trying several prenatal massages elsewhere and leaving disappointed, with little to no improvement, Ajeet was an absolute game-changer. Within the first five minutes of my session, I knew I needed more time and asked to extend from 60 to 90 minutes. I prefer deep, firm pressure, and Ajeet delivered exactly what I needed while ensuring everything was safe for both me and my baby. Her knowledge and intuition really set her apart. She took the time to understand my specific concerns and found areas of tension I didn’t even realize I was holding. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and restored. The space was also calming and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Now that I’ve had my baby, I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend Ajeet to anyone looking for a skilled and thoughtful massage therapist.

Im so grateful I found Ajeet and was able to work with her both pre and postpartum. She offered in home prenatal massages that were very relaxing and therapeutic and felt great on my achy body. She was very supportive and always available for questions and concerns and to talk through my birth plan. I also just went in for a postnatal massage which felt great to loosen up my breastfeeding shoulders and neck and she also specializes in a technique to help your uterus heal. She is very kind and accommodating and I would definitely recommend her
