Hi! My name is Kaitlin, and I’m a new mom based in Santa Monica, where I live with my husband and our daughter, Sadie. I’m currently looking for in-home support three days per week during morning to early afternoon hours. Ideally, this would be for several hours per visit within an 8am–2pm window, with flexibility on specific days and times each week. The primary focus of this role will be caring for Sadie, who was born on March 8, 2026. Responsibilities would include bottle feeding, diaper changes, and supporting her daily needs. In addition to infant care, we’d appreciate light help with baby-related tasks such as cleaning bottles and keeping infant areas and supplies organized. We’re looking for someone with experience caring for newborns who is comfortable supporting a young infant and can bring a calm, supportive presence to our home. While the role is primarily focused on infant care, we would also value any general guidance on infant care or light postpartum support, depending on your experience. Our budget is $25 - $30 per hour based on experience, and we’re hoping to start as soon as possible through mid-June 2026.

Hi there! My husband and I are seeking a doula for our first pregnancy/birth/postpartum. The doula we are looking for is gentle and nurturing... and accepts Kaiser insurance. 1. I plan to give birth at a hospital. 2. Kaiser has listed the following doula services covered by my plan: -One initial visit -Up to eight one-hour visits that may be provided in any combination of prenatal and postpartum visits -Support during labor and delivery -Up to two additional postpartum visits may be available. They also say that: "for doula services to be covered by the Health Plan, the doula must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and a Tax Identification Number (TIN)." And that "the doula must file a claim for reimbursement." 3. I'm still thinking this through and would like a little help with this! I want a hospital birth. I want to keep and capsule my placenta. I'd like to labor for awhile at home and to try to not use an epidural, but am open to it if I feel I need it. I want to be able to move around. I want soft music playing and a gentle atmosphere. Maybe calming essential oils. I'd like to breastfeed.
I’m looking to do at an home/birth center water birth. I’m looking for a midwife. My budget is 30 to 50 per hourly rate or insurance covered
