Hi, I'm Sierra! I'm a doula/lactation counselor local to the PNW. I am also a descendant of the Coeur D'Alene Tribe and an archery enthusiast. It is my intention to serve every family I can with a focus on Indigenous and low-income peoples. ♥️ I have always had a calling to serve others in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. After having my first child at home I was inspired to become a doula. I feel that this calling has fulfilled my dream of genuinely serving community as well as satisfied my desire to continuously learn and share knowledge essential with others.
I cannot say enough good things about Sierra. In addition to being a wonderful doula, she is also just a delightful human being. She is kind, caring, down to earth, funny, and she has a way of instantly putting people at ease. Even though she is young, she is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and wise beyond her years. Do not let her polite and quiet demeanor fool you though, as she will advocate for you fearlessly and assertively. Throughout both my pregnancy and labor, she spoke up for me on many occasions where I either couldn’t find the words or confidence to do so myself. This was my first pregnancy and I was scared and unsure of so many things and having her there to guide me and help me navigate this uncharted territory was invaluable to my mental health. She was able to educate me and my husband about so many things, including an entire set of comfort measures to use during both pregnancy and labor. If we decide to have another baby down the road, I will not hesitate to reach out to her again.

I have been helping families succeed since the birth of my first child, Isaac, in 2000, first as a childbirth educator, then as a La Leche League Leader, then as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My background is in international environmental policy, but when my kids came along, my heart took me in the direction of the birth and baby world. I truly love helping families come into their own. In my spare time, I knit, sew and garden, volunteer, and work for social justice. I am the proud mom of a Western Washington University senior, a Nova High School junior, and am a graduate of Brown University (BA in environmental studies) and University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy.
I was slightly skeptical at the beginning of my lactation journey when I first consulted with Betsy Hoffmeister due to some unpleasant experiences with prior lactation consultant; I was hopeful due to the positive experiences of others. I’m glad I followed my instinct and chose Betsy as my lactation consultant. Betsy is very knowledgeable and professional. She is thorough and client-focused in her interactions. I was in a rough place postpartum and spent a very long time trying to explain what I wanted at the first appointment. Betsy patiently listened at every session and helped me become focused on my goals. I consulted with her for the entirety of my lactation journey, and I became confident as a mother by following her advice. She also tailored her knowledge around my needs. Betsy was a teacher, healer, and counselor because she went extra 10 miles at every appointment. It was her wisdom and kindness that help pave the best outcome for my baby. Thank you, Betsy, for being a gem of a person, amazing professional, and a beautiful person (both inside & out) & it was an honor to be guided by you!

I am a holistically-minded IBCLC lactation consultant. As an IBCLC I specialize in oral habilitation and tethered oral tissues, as well as assessing low milk supply, and pumping. I offer home visits in the Bonney Lake area, and in-office consultations at The Birthing Inn in Tacoma.
We had the privilege of having Zoe as our overnight postpartum doula for our second child. It was great having such a warm, friendly, and supportive presence in the house while most of the rest of the folks in the house were asleep. She was a huge help during our struggles with breastfeeding and our daughter's jaundice treatment, as well as with all the baby-related chores that seem small but add up quickly. I could rest assured that Baby was cared for and that I wouldn't wake up to a bin full of used baby bottles and pumping supplies to wash. Even our 3 year old really warmed up to her, even though she was mostly here during his sleeping hours. We felt very well supported and Zoe's visits were the perfect way to reset during the newborn+toddler struggle.

Welcome to Mother Trees. I am a Registered Nurse, Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Pre and Perinatal Psychology Educator and Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapist., located in Issaquah, WA. Birthing a new soul is a sacred rite of passage. In our busy world we have forgotten how to be fully present to receive this gift. Unfortunately, most hospital births feel far from empowering or sacred. Deliveries are often induced, creating a faster paced timeline that can make communication between mom and baby more confusing and difficult. Taking time to slow down and listen deeply to your baby, your partner and yourself can be immensely rewarding. It is not what we normally do, so having a guide is helpful. This is the service I’ve been providing to new parents for more than 30 years. I have worked with thousands of breastfeeding families in hospital and home settings. It brings me great joy to provide support and direction during your transition into parenting.
Susan has a natural ability to make you feel at ease, which was exactly what me and my baby needed during a challenging time with feeding. Susan brought a sense of calm into our household when we were at our most stressed and hectic. Susan is not only very knowledgeable but also incredibly empathetic and caring. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answered all my questions with patience, and provided clear, practical guidance along with consistent follow up support. Her gentle, reassuring approach has made me feel supported and empowered throughout my breastfeeding journey. I highly recommend Susan as a lactation consultant!

My name is Kelsey Smith. I am a wife, mother, RN, Lactation Educator and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. In 2015, my daughter was born and so was my passion for the world of lactation. With both children, breastfeeding didn't come easily. Each new child brought new challenges that with hard work and perseverance, we ultimately overcame. I saw this world that could be so beautiful and so incredibly frustrating all at the same time and knew I wanted to be a part of it. My experience and challenges led me to want to help others entering the world of breastfeeding. As a registered nurse, I've seen first hand the lack of support offered to mothers during the post partum period and knew I wanted to be part of that change. This led me to begin my journey to become a Lactation Consultant. I love working with families to help them meet their breastfeeding goals, whatever those may be. I am a graduate of the Pathway 2 Lactation Consultant program through UCSD and have also served as a mother to mother support with La Leche League International since 2016. I also hold a current membership with the international organization ILCA. Being a mom is hard enough, and trying to navigate it alone is even harder. Thank you for inviting me into your family and letting me become a part of your journey. xo, Kelsey
Kelsey is amazing!!! She is kind and caring on top of being super knowledgeable. Kelsey is so passionate about what she does and it shines through with all the care she gives the mamas, babies and families she helps. If you have any questions/concerns about your breastfeeding journey do not hesitate to reach out to Kelsey.

I am a certified Postpartum Doula serving Seattle and the surrounding areas. I have been working with families for many years as an early childhood nanny and as a doula, and have helping many families through the ups and downs of these early days. I truly love working with a family to help them feel more confident and capable about the choices they are making. I bring a nonjudgmental listening ear and helping hand, and want the whole family to feel brighter every time I'm there. I offer a sliding scale for solo parents, LGBTQIA+ families, BIPOC families, and low income folks - please reach out if you need some assistance!
In a world of social media, “parenting experts” are everywhere - the information overload can be so overwhelming and paralyzing, especially as first time parents… enter Zoe. The hardest thing to embrace as a first time mum was knowing how much you don’t know, so having support, both hands on and virtually, from a postpartum doula made all the difference. Zoe’s knowledge in childcare and child development, as well as postpartum care (with a genuine emphasis on CARE) has made all the difference in our first three months as parents. Any new parents know it’s easy to feel like you’re blundering through, and just trying to survive. Zoe’s demeanor is that of, “you are the parents, you are experts in YOUR child,” as she guides us with her own expertise. She has not only helped to educate, but has given us the tools and encouragement to implement new practices for ourselves. From answers about baby sleep - both naps and nighttime, routines and schedules, lactation support, to the ever important parental care (self care IS caring for your baby, thanks for the reminder, Zoe), developmental milestones, and even playtime (how do you play with a baby? Zoe knows). She has been a delight to work with, her communication is excellent, and in a time that can be frightening and isolating, Zoe has ensured that post partum is not something we ever felt “alone” in. After working with Zoe, it is impossible to think of how different our experience would have been without her, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her, and will hopefully get to work with her again for future children

My name is Aijanae, the visionary founder of Village to Village Doulas, a premier doula agency renowned for its holistic and compassionate approach to childbirth and postpartum care. My journey into the world of maternal support was deeply personal and transformative. My son, my baby boy Jahsiah was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma just as I had booked my calendar for the year, I was faced the immense challenge of balancing my professional and personal life. This experience underscored the importance of having a trusted support system during life's most vulnerable moments. Leveraging my personal journey, I established Village to Village Doulas to provide unparalleled support to local Doulas and parents navigating the complexities of childbirth and early parenthood.
I have had such a positive, stress-free postpartum experience, and that is in very large part thanks to Aijanae. I feel so lucky to have found her and her team - from the moment I first talked to her, I knew I would want her to support me and my family. She exudes calm, and she is incredibly knowledgeable, and she is very generous with her time. Aijanae supported me for the first 6 weeks with overnights, and then her team (Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey) joined to support for the following 4 weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed Aijanae's company during the middle of the night feedings and so appreciated all her advice on breastfeeding and newborn care (and appreciated her folding laundry, doing some meal prep, and cleaning pump parts). Aijanae really cares about you as a new mother and goes out of her way with texts, phone calls, and in-person conversations to make sure you feel heard and supported. My experience with Jazzy, Wren, and Hailey was also great. They are all clearly experts in what they do. And the great thing about working with an agency, like Aijanae's agency, is that if you have a longer term contract like I did and someone inevitably gets sick or can't make a shift, there is always someone else who can cover. Our 10 weeks with Aijanae and her team were a big financial commitment, but it was worth every penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aijanae and Village to Village to any family who wants a smoother postpartum experience.

As a nurse for 17 years and a lactation consultant (IBCLC) for 6 years, I want to partner with you in your health and breastfeeding journey wherever that will lead you. When you work with me, you work with someone that gets it, has lived it, and understands the stress and demands of motherhood and being a woman. I’m here to walk you through this journey.
Maria was extremely helpful and thorough when our appointment came! Even before, she was able to answer my questions and provide feedback before we met. Recommended us to some great resources for dental and chiropractic care. Also had a great perspective from her own experience which I value cause i find it hard to describe certain feelings to someone who hasn’t breastfed before so that was really helpful!

I am a full spectrum birthworker with a passion for supporting the BIPGM and 2slgbtqia+ communities. I believe everyone deserves support and offer my services as sliding scale for all those who need it. I specialize in holistic, traditional care that is backed by evidence, bringing head, heart, body, and soul into use when helping support my clients, no matter where in their reproductive process they are.
I recently reconnected with Sage and she asked me to post a review, since I was the very first birth she ever attended. Sage wasn't a doula when she was there for my kids births, she was just a friend who had given birth before, and who offered to support me when I was young, inexperienced and alone. I had a boyfriend, but they were his first kids too and we were both scared. Between us asking her to be at the birth, and me going into labor the first time, she learned so so much about birth and postpartum and taught me so much. I didn't go to a birth class but I felt way more prepared one she started sharing what she'd learned. When the time came, and I was in labor, I told her and she drove from Atascadero to San Diego, made the 6 hour drive in 5 hours, and was with us for the hardest part of the birth. I still wonder if I could have done it without her help and I really don't think so. Having her there with me was so helpful that I even asked her to be there for my son a few years later, and asked her to go to a friend's birth as well. I'm really glad that she's doing this now, even if it took her 15 years before she decided to do it. I'm so glad we reconnected and I could share this, and I'm so proud to be the very first birth she attended and supported.
