Hi I'm Chris! I'm super passionate about all things birth. I'm a birth and postpartum doula and a lactation councelor. I have 4 grown children, I was a sign language interpreter many years ago, and worked in a local church for 20 years. I was incredibly nieve and uninformed when I had my children and it is my hearts desire to support moms through pregnancy and birth as well as those first few months after baby is born. I have no preconcieved notions as to how your birth should or should not go. I believe in supporting you in the way that fits you the best while informing you of all your options. I am excited to be following my passion and I look forward to sharing it with you.
Chris was my birth doula, and let me say I would not have had the confidence to do an unmedicated birth as a first time mom without her support, knowledge, and guidance. Chris is EXTREMELY passionate about what she does and it is evident upon any interaction with her. She provided me with many tools to use not only while in labor, but also for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum. She made herself available to answer any questions I had, even post birth. She is tremendously supportive to any and all decisions you as a mom-to-be. She will not try to persuade you into something else. She makes it very clear it is YOUR birth and she is there to fully support you! If you are considering using Chris as a doula…please don’t think twice!! She is an incredible person..the sweetest woman you will ever meet and extremely knowledgeable! Thank you Chris!!!!

I have been so blessed to have jobs I have loved all my life - wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, pregnancy care center director, lactation consultant and certified postpartum doula. It is hard to believe it has been over 48 years since nursing school. Though I would never have thought so in nursing school, my focus has always been all things moms, babies and families. This journey has taken me from basic knowledge of how babies are born to a deep respect of the profound changes that take place within the childbearing family, because we are so fearfully and wonderfully made.

Hello and congratulations on the growth of your family! What a blessing it is to be welcoming a new baby. My name is Jessica McAllister and I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, servicing Southern New Jersey. Birth work has been my passion for many years and I am always ready to learn and expand my knowledge while serving families as they grow. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children who are without a doubt my world. I believe the birth space is the most sacred place a family will ever be and with preparation, affirmation, and support you will too. I strive to meet families where they are offering emotional and informational support. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and my children, taking trips to target, and a good coffee.
Jessica is an AMAZING doula. Not only is she thoroughly trained, but she is also very knowledgeable in pregnancy, labor, and birth. She is very attentive in the needs of her clients, and she ensures that you feel heard, safe, and makes space for you to birth the way that you want to.

Hello. My name is Harmony and I am a Certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator, Certified Lacatation Counselor and Birth Doula. I am a former elementary teacher and the love of teaching continues in my evidence based childbirth classes. After having my 3rd child, my love of supporting birthing people blossomed. With continuous support, education and tools to help you advocate for yourself, you will have the birth you want. I service South Jersey, Parts of PA and Delaware. My office is located upstairs at Sicklerville Chiropractic.
Harmony's assistance was invaluable to us during my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and post partum. She helped me to understand a lot of the processes both that my body would go through and that the medical system would put me through, which was incredibly helpful in making more informed decisions and planning for what would be an unorthodox birth. Harmony helped me flesh out my birth plan more completely, which helped me to feel more in control when the time came to make medical decisions. Additionally, she was there through a significant portion of my LONG labor and assisted not only with that process, but also with providing support to my teenage daughter, who was present for labor and who experienced some anxiety because of it. She video called with me in the hospital during my recovery to help me navigate caring for my babies and preparing for breastfeeding despite their need for NICU treatment. Harmony went above and beyond to connect me with someone who could help me with the challenges of breastfeeding twins when I struggled post-partum. We truly cannot imagine what this process would've looked like without her and would (and already have!) recommended her highly to friends and family!

My partner and I worked with Cynthia for the birth of our baby. We are so grateful to have worked with her as our doula, especially as my birth experience did not go according to plan. Cynthia's expert guidance and calm presence throughout the process deeply reassured us, and she helped us meet various challenges with focus and perseverance. Throughout the vulnerable time of labor and delivery, Cynthia helped us discuss proposed interventions and make decisions that benefited us. Cynthia also met with us during the prenatal and postpartum periods. Ahead of the birth, she educated us on the birthing process, lactation, and infant care. She advised us on nursing following the birth of our baby when we faced challenges, providing support and encouragement when we most needed it. And we have so much gratitude for her postpartum visit to our home as we were able to discuss and process the birth together and feel affirmed in the process of postpartum recovery. I highly recommend Cynthia as her expertise, deep sense of care, support, professionalism, and guidance are unparalleled!

I'm passionate about helping women have the birthing experience they desire and hope for. Planning, preparing and practicing is where it starts. I always invest so much into my clients that in the end, they become lifelong friends.
When I found out I was pregnant, the thought of having a doula never crossed my mind. It seemed a little bougie for me, but when my doctor left the practice, I started to think about it. It was the best decision I made. At our first meeting, we went over my birth plan. Julie gave me things to work on at home, but she also came back another time to make sure I knew how to do those exercises. She was always checking in, and she always answered right away when I had questions throughout my pregnancy. When I (finally) went into labor, I was texting Julie in the middle of the night while I left my husband sleep. She came over later in the morning and I labored at home as long as I could. Julie had me doing all kinds on different movements and exercises to naturally progress labor because my plan was to go without an epidural (spoiler:I did not make it ha). My labor at the hospital was longer than I anticipated, and Julie never left my side. When I caved and got the epidural, she continued to help me with body positioning to try to progress labor without drugs. She spent 2 nights in the hospital with us. I finally delivered a baby girl and it was a beautiful moment. But just when Julie probably thought she was home free to go home to her bed my placenta would not deliver. I was rushed to the OR and my husband was left with our baby, terrified and confused. Julie did not leave his side. When I returned to recovery but clearly still having issues, Julie called my parents for my husband and did not leave his side until she met my parents and they basically forced her to go home and get some rest. I was in the hospital for 10 days and Julie was in constant communication with my husband to check on me. When I came home, she was one of the first people I wanted to see. If you're on the fence about hiring Julie, stop thinking and just do it. Not only will Julie make you feel more prepared and relaxed going into labor, but you will come out feeling like she's family.

Hi! My name is Lindsay Idler, and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula serving the New Jersey and Philadelphia area. Having doula support at the births of my 3 children unlocked my love for all things birth and supporting & empowering women. I believe everyone has a right to a safe, positive birth experience. My practice prioritizes nonjudgmental support, information for informed decision making, and helping moms and families advocate for themselves. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and our sweet dog. I also love a good fire pit, reading, and crocheting.
"I am so glad we had Lindsay to lean on during my birth experience. She was able to provide helpful guidance and reassurance before, during, and after labor. My partner was grateful for her assistance with support techniques for me while I was laboring, and we were both glad to have her as a sounding board and a voice of comfort throughout. She also brought items to help create a soothing environment in the hospital room!”

Haiii, my name is Fantasia Hernandez, and I am a new postpartum doula! At 25 years old, I have recently stepped into this role professionally, but in many ways, I have been doing this work for years. Growing up surrounded by women and families welcoming new babies into the world, I naturally found myself helping out, offering support, caring for newborns, and being a calm, steady presence during those early and tender weeks. I just did not realize there was a name for what I was doing. Becoming a postpartum doula feels like coming home. I have always been drawn to nurturing others, especially new mothers navigating the intensity, beauty, and vulnerability of the postpartum period. I believe every family deserves gentle, informed, and nonjudgmental support after birth, and I am honored to be a part of that journey. Whether it is holding the baby so a parent can rest, helping establish a feeding rhythm, or just being someone who listens, I am here to make the transition into parenthood a little softer.

I'm a lactation consultant located in Wilmington, Delaware and a single mother to two sons. Yes, I nursed them both. (Yes, for years.) I’m passionate about many things, one of the primary being mothers and people who birth babies. Helping them discover how amazing their bodies are through breastfeeding is deeply fulfilling, as is accompanying couples as they learn to parent together, growing closer and becoming stronger. While you are with me, you will experience total attention from a kind and non-judgmental listener. My goal is to help you feel confident in the choices you are making, whatever they are. We will find a way to keep you and your baby safe, happy, and healthy, however that looks for you. At The Golden Hour, you belong.
Rachel provided me and my baby with excellent care while helping me to navigate an emotionally exhausting time. I specifically noticed that she took time to listen to me and my concerns before diagnosing and treating. Still happily and efficiently nursing my 1-year-old. I cannot recommend her enough; thanks Rachel!

Hi! My name is Kayla and I am trained as a Community Birth & Postpartum Doula. I am also trained in lactation support. I currently service Philadelphia and surrounding areas. I have been working as a fully bilingual Doula (English/Spanish), servicing a wide range of clients. I established All For Love Doula Services LLC, with the mission being to provide evidence-based and compassionate physical, emotional, and educational support to expecting mothers, empowering them to make informed and confident decisions throughout their perinatal journey. I’m a firm believer that every mom’s experience is different, and my goal is to come alongside you in a way that best fits your needs and desires. I look forward to working with you!
“Kayla is amazing”! She was my postpartum doula for several weeks. She has a wealth of knowledge in postpartum care and made me very empowered. Her program really helped me to attain the mindset I needed for getting through those days where I felt the most overwhelmed. She worked with me in creating affirmation post its that she later reminded me of when I needed them most. She was the sweetest to not only my baby boy but also to my 9y/o daughter who loves to converse about all things gymnastics and baking. She gave me time and company when needed. She met my needs by being intentional about the details of what I needed during her visits. My baby actually fell asleep with Kayla during one of her visits, which he doesn’t do with everyone. Kayla is very easy to talk to. Like a friend just over for sweets and good convos. She is very assertive when it comes to ensuring mom and baby’s needs are met. As she also reminded me that postpartum isn’t just black and white. My postpartum journey can be whatever I want it to be and she wanted to help me achieve my goals. Something as silly as me really wanting to organize my gym or take a walk, or even just doing nothing but caring for me and my kids. She encouraged me and never imposed what general “postpartum” should look like. It was tailored and personalized to me. Thank you Kayla for the reminder that postpartum isn’t a one size fits all. I’m thankful for my DOULA!
