After the birth of my first daughter in 2011, I became passionate about breastfeeding and its advocacy. I had no idea how hard and isolating it would be and desperately wanted help and advice. We moved back to the Capital Region and I found La Leche League! This community of supportive, non-judgmental nursing families inspired me and I became an accredited Leader in 2017. Since then, I’ve been fervently learning about breastfeeding and human lactation. I earned the title of IBCLC in December 2022. I live in Averill Park, NY with my husband, two daughters, our two rescue cats, and a handful of chickens. I love gardening, cooking, cycling, running, pole vaulting, learning new things, and empowering families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

I am a L&D and mother/baby nurse (LDRP) with 10+ years experience who wanted care for clients outside of the hospital after seeing the need in my local area. I have been doing postpartum doula work since January 2024, and have started taking on childbirth ed and labor clients as well. I also have a team of other birth center nurses who assist with postpartum care as well. I believe in a healthy relationship with the medical providers, while also advocating for your specific wants and needs. For labor, my experience has been as an RN for 10+ years with both high risk pregnancies, low risk, every intervention known to man, and as natural as Mother Nature made it. Breastfeeding Savvy (BFS) is a breastfeeding clinic, emulating a homelike setting, located at 58 Clifton Country Road, Clifton Park, NY, 12065, Suite 106. Our breastfeeding clinic was created to support the postpartum period and optimize the breastfeeding/ pumping dyads journey. Our mission is to provide empathetic and evidenced based support to families in the community.
