Need someone in the North LA area SFV, SCV I will be giving birth at a birthing center. My budged is below 3k I am a small business owner who is funding my own birth and maternity leave and have very limited insurance with a high deductible. I would also really want the doula to be latina or indigenous and practice native/indigenous post partum practices.

This is my first baby and I plan to give birth at a birth center. My insurance doesn't cover a doula so my budget would be $1500. I would like my provider to have experience with severe back pain. I can not lie on my back and transitional movements are extremely painful. I want to gain better understanding of birthing positions that will be right for me. I want to learn different pain management techniques and receive information on how my husband can help during the labor process. For lactation I would like to work with an IBCLC if possible. Postpartum I would like information on sleep training. I would like to meet in person with the doula at least twice before the birth and at least once after.

Kaiser has listed the following doula services covered by my plan: -One initial visit -Up to eight one-hour visits that may be provided in any combination of prenatal and postpartum visits -Support during labor and delivery -Up to two additional postpartum visits may be available.
