Hello! I put out a call here a couple months ago and got overwhelmed by the amount of responses and found someone else a friend recommended, but not on Bornbir. Unfortunately, that person had to cancel last minute so I am looking again. Please reach out again if you are still available! I'd love to connect* A little about my situation: My due date is May 4th and am looking for a postpartum doula/newborn specialist who accepts Carrot insurance and is already in their network. I'm looking for help 5-7 nights for 6 weeks after birth. I'd love someone who has some lactation experience as well. I live in North Berkeley. Thank you! Thank you! Olivia

Greetings, My partner Chris and I are just starting our search for a birth doula. This will be our first baby and I have had a healthy pregnancy so far. I'm planning to give birth at Kaiser Oakland with an epidural. I would love to find a doula who has experience with Kaiser and billing as I understand that doulas could be covered by Kaiser. We are still very open minded about birth plan and hope to create this with support of a doula. What I do know is that I would be giving birth in a hospital setting, am 40 yo, this is my first childbirth, in support of an epidural, would like to avoid c-section. Help with positioning during labor, and someone who could normalize birthing for a first time mommy would be ideal!
