About me

Hello! I’m Paige Schwickerath, a trained birth doula serving families in Central Iowa. My passion for birth began with my own pregnancy and home birth experience. That journey ignited a deep desire to educate and support moms as they prepare for the birth they envision — while also equipping them for the unexpected twists that can arise during labor. Shortly after welcoming my baby, I completed my birth doula training through DONA International and began serving families in the birth world. I am passionate about empowering women to confidently step into their motherhood journey through faith, education, and compassionate support. It would be an honor to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Service introduction

I partner with another doula at Beautiful Births, where we intentionally work together to build relationships with every client. Throughout your pregnancy, you’ll get to know both of us as we prepare you for labor and birth. When the big day arrives, the doula on call will be by your side — with the added reassurance that you’ve already met and built trust with the backup doula in case a switch is ever needed. Many moms find peace of mind knowing the women supporting their birth are familiar, trusted faces.
