Greetings, my name is Cathleen. Born and raised in Rockland County NY. My background has mostly been weaved in women's wellness focusing on mind-body-spirit connectedness. My style of work is intuitive & spirit-led fusing evidence based information. I'm a full spectrum birth worker, breech without borders trainee, Postpartum Healing Specialist weaving ancient & indigenous healing modalities. I have a more holistic approach such as breath work, the use of essential oils, physical touch, and change of laboring positions. I assist home births, hospital and certified to assist at The Birthing Center of NJ. I work with you to help you have the empowered birthing experience that you desire and deserve. Although, I didn't listen to the call to this path until 2020 to become certified birth worker, my first birth that I supported and postpartum care was provided in 2006.
Cathleen was an extremely caring doula. I am so grateful for having had her as my doula as she was always caring for me and guiding me to balance my body, mind, and soul while preparing to welcome my child to this world. She incorporated sound body movement with soul care, which I am sure influenced my homebirth experience. My labor lasted 12 hours (start to finish), and she was the only one there at the time of the birth because my baby came so speedily that the rest of the team did not arrive in time. I’m sure my baby chose her to be there because of her grounding presence and her positive vibrations. Will definitely choose her next time, and the next, and the next.

My name is Jennifer Michel-Wilson, owner of La Belle Doula Birth Support Services. I am a CD/PCD (DONA), CLC Birth, Postpartum, Bereavement and Holistic Fertility Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor & Educator as well a Certified Childbirth Educator.. La Belle Doula was founded upon the recognition of the extreme lack of compassion in maternal health care, and it became abundantly clear that this was to be my life’s work. My goal is to empower you by not only providing you with the education and tools needed, but also through being an empathetic support system as you go through this unique journey of your life. I put high values on overall well-being and cater to each woman’s individual needs in order to provide guidance & a shoulder to lean on during this complex and powerful experience. As a Doula, I believe in your vision, I trust in your strength, and I remind you of the power within you because every woman deserves a beautiful beginning and ending.
My husband and I worked with Jennifer the last trimester of my pregnancy. She always made herself accessible for any questions, and we felt very well supported by her. Jennifer was extremely thorough, timely, and compassionate. She was a master at feeding us information at the right time as not to overwhelm us. My husband and I wound up taking a 6 hour birth class a month before our due date, and we felt so well prepared from Jennifer, that the information in the birth class seemed repetitive from what Jennifer had already instilled in us! The day I went into labor, Jennifer was accesible every moment. She was truly an advocate for us and made us feel safe and connected. My husband and I would absolutely recommend Jennifer to any couple looking for doula. My met several, and Jennifer was truly the best of the best. Thank you Jennifer!!

Cathy Joe was able to instill a sense a comfort and security with becoming a new mother. Within six months I lost my own mother and become one. This was mentally exhausting, Cathy Joe was there to help my husband and I on this new adventure with a nurturing loving touch. She always went above and beyond with her effective knowledge of new borns and gently guided us through the new experiences we were in-during. She single handedly made us confident parents. To have her in our lives, especially during that time was a blessing.

I am a speech-language pathologist and IBCLC as well as a mama of 3 boys ages 6 and under with a 4th baby on the way ! I specialize in infant feeding and would love to support you throughout your feeding journey, whether that be lactation based, formula based or a combination of the two! Please email me at nursinglittles@gmail.com to discuss what you need support in and schedule a session!
I have taken Nia’s Prenatal Peek course and it was very helpful in preparing me for breastfeeding! Aside from being a Certified breastfeeding specialist and Speech Language Pathologist, Nia is a mom of 2 herself and very knowledgeable in these fields. She has helped me tremendously in the last few months as I have had many breastfeeding hiccups and without her help I may have given up but I am almost at 5 months on my breastfeeding journey. I definitely recommend her courses or just reaching out for a one on one consultation.

I am a mama of 3, deeply devoted to the sacred work of supporting women during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Birth is my passion, my calling, my ministry—it is a profound honor to walk alongside women during this very transformational time. I believe that our bodies are designed for birth and that women should hold ultimate authority over their birth experience. My mission is to help women recognize their innate power, trust their instincts, and choose aligned support that empowers them to have a positive experience. As a woman who has experienced birth trauma within the system, I hold space for other women to process and heal from their own stories. I guide women in peeling back the layers of trauma and fear, helping them find their voice, reclaim their power, and birth on their terms. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum, or seeking healing after birth trauma, I am here to serve you. Birth is sacred, and every woman deserves to feel supported, seen, and powerful on her journey.
Can’t wait to hire you for our next birth! Had such a positive experience that I’m actually looking forward to birth AGAIN! The way that you stood by my side no matter what, I truly couldn’t repay you for the experience you helped me create. Grateful ❤️

I am a mother to a 5 year old and have loved children since I was a child myself. I have always been someone who enjoys helping people. I started on the path towards nursing, earning my Associate’s degree in Fall of 2022. After mostly completing my degree in summer of 2022, I realized my personality wouldn't shine in nursing. I am more empathetic and personable, which lead me to becoming a doula. I started with birth doula in August and it opened my eyes to my passion for birthwork. Shortly after, I took the postpartum doula workshop. That led me to also taking infant CPR, and earning a certified lactation support counselor as well. I am looking forward to sitting for the Lamaze CBE exam Fall of 2023. I have worked with families both prior to these certifications and currently and I can’t wait to explore and learn more
Antasia was an incredible support for my husband and I when we needed overnight care for our newborn. After interviewing many people, we had been turned off by those who were strict about their approach and seemed to want to impose their practices on our family. As new parents, we needed tenderness and flexibility—someone who would care for our son at night and allow us to sleep peacefully knowing our son was safe and being tended to the way we choose to raise him. Antasia was a calm and responsive presence, working with us to adapt to changes as our newborn developed and we grew as parents. She was always on time and communicated proactively in the rare instance there was a scheduling issue. At the start of every visit she asked us what changed and what was new, which was helpful as newborns change on a weekly basis and so did our approach. We were always at peace knowing Antasia was coming. I also was able to recover from insomnia due to Antasia’s presence and my confidence in her to look after our child while we slept. Our only regret was not meeting her sooner so we could have had her with our family on day 1 coming home from the hospital.

After struggling with severe pain during breastfeeding and hearing that discomfort was normal and to keep pushing through, I was beyond grateful when Stephanie came to my rescue. First off, Stephanie knows her stuff! She is so knowledge and passionate about sharing all she can to help with lactation. Stephanie was able to tweak my techniques, give me pointers, and boom, no more pain! With no judgement, and a kind attitude, Stephanie made it easy for me to relax and trust the process. Breastfeeding is NOT suppose to hurt! Who knew! If you're having any sort of issues with feeding or lactation, call Stephanie! Your welcome!

I am a certified postpartum doula, lactation counselor, mother, and designer. I was born in NYC and grew up between Brooklyn and Honolulu, where my parents met. Surrounded by natural beauty in Hawaii, I became really interested in plants and studied the ways they're used as natural medicine in indigenous cultures. I dove further into holistic wellness and lived in an ashram in India, where I obtained my yoga teaching certification. It became clear to me that one can be healed by connecting the mind and body with nature. I love to create nourishing meals that incorporate healing herbs to nurture the body into a balanced state of well-being. After I birthed my son, I really understood the challenges in postpartum and importance of supporting and honoring new parents in their special journey. I feel empowered to help postpartum families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives, to make them feel supported and provide resources in areas where they may feel uninformed. I currently reside in Ridgewood, NY and enjoy yoga, cooking, dancing, and tending my medicinal herb garden.
Lornnie was such a pleasure to spend time with and was so supportive. She cooked delicious and nutritious post-partum meals, cleaned the kitchen and boxed up leftovers for us for the rest of the week. Lornnie also helped us with some tips for newborn care. She is connected with the community and helped connect me to a group of new moms in the neighborhood.

Hello, my name is Allison Smigiel I am a registered nurse and lactation consultant. My nursing practice started because I wanted to find another way to support parents as they go through the transformational process of pregnancy and parenthood. I believe in empowering women and families by providing evidence-based information, partnership, and support to help them achieve their goals. My love for Obstetrics started after I saw my first birth in nursing school; I have spent the majority of my 16 years as a nurse working in labor & maternity units, and as a lactation consultant.
Allison was such a blessing for my first pregnancy! She coached me through what to expect with labor/delivery. She shared with me her extensive knowledge which empowered me to advocate with confidence for myself during the process. I felt like I had a voice which was respectfully received by the nurses at the hospital. After delivery, Allison was an amazing resource for breast feeding. Ladies, it’s not easy!!! But with Allison’s encouragement, I did it! She had so many tips and tricks for my little one’s terrible latch, lip tie, and seemingly nonstop cluster feedings. She also helped coach me through transitioning to pumping and breast feeding when I went back to work. I can’t say enough good things about Allison! You won’t be disappointed!

As a first generation Latina, I understand the hustle of proving we could do it all on our own. Since becoming a mother, I quickly realized that this new life isn’t meant to be done alone. As an advocate for postpartum support, my core foundation is to hold space, advocate for your needs and guide you to thrive into parenthood. My biggest invitation is to honor the traditional ways for your postpartum healing.
Vanessa is so helpful, thorough and gentle. If I have any questions, concerns or an overall issue about anything she always brings her empathic skills to helping me understand. I HIGHLY recommend her services! You will not be disappointed.

Greetings, my name is Aisolen Marcial and I am a certified Full Spectrum Holistic Doula located in New York City area. I have minimal limits in supporting folks and their families, having done this work already for over 10 years. Birth & postpartum support is not a cookie-cutter stencil and should not be treated as such. I am a mom of 2 beautiful girls and enjoy traveling, plants and self-care.
A Truly Exceptional Doula Experience Hiring Aisolen Marcial was hands down one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy journey. From the moment we met her, we felt instantly at ease. Her calm presence, deep knowledge, and genuine care created a sense of trust and safety that carried us through every step of labor and delivery. Throughout our prenatal visits, Aisolen took the time to really understand our hopes, fears, and birth preferences. She offered evidence-based information without pressure and helped us feel empowered to make informed decisions. She was always just a text away when we had questions or needed support. During labor, Aisolen was our anchor. She brought such a peaceful energy into the room, offering physical comfort, emotional reassurance, and quiet encouragement exactly when we needed it. Whether it was helping with breathing techniques, massage, or just being a supportive presence, she anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. Even after the birth, she continued to check in with us and made sure we were adjusting well. Her postpartum support was incredibly helpful, and we felt like she truly cared about our wellbeing as a family. We can’t imagine going through this experience without her. If you're looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to supporting families, we wholeheartedly recommend Aisolen Marcial.

Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. I realized with the birth of my first child, that I had to include a wellness plan for my overall wellbeing. I believe we go through different journeys throughout our lives and with each journey, we face challenges. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.
Diane provided much-needed support after the birth of my daughter as my husband and I adjusted to becoming first-time parents. She helped me build my confidence when I started my breastfeeding journey and is very knowledgeable about lactation, pumping, and setting realistic expectations for feeding a newborn. My husband and I also both benefitted from Diane's experience caring for infants. She is quick to respond to questions and provide advice without judgment, and helped us learn a range of new skills (e.g., bottle feeding, tummy time, baths, nail trims). We feel much more comfortable as new parents compared to where we started and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a postpartum doula!

Erica Brown is a Perinatology nurse who worked in the delivery room for over 20 years, with foundations in maternity, infant and child care. She is certified by the National Nurses Corporation (NCC) in Maternal Newborn Care, and electronic fetal monitoring. She is also an IBCLC, board certified lactation consultant, and a certified childbirth educator. Erica worked closely with the World Health Organization in support of the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative which protects, supports and promotes breastfeeding worldwide. Most importantly, she is the mother of three young people who wants to share what she has learned both professionally and personally in hopes of empowering you to have the birth and postpartum experience you have imagined. Erica is passionate about helping people make informed decisions for themselves in the healthcare setting and helping people get the quality care they deserve. This is one of the most memorable experiences you will ever have, and she wants to empower you to have the healthiest, safe, and most beautiful experience bringing your baby home.
We called Erica when we were extremely desperate with our colicky newborn. We needed help not only medically but also mentally and emotionally. Erica came to our house and explained to us everything pertaining breastfeeding, checked our baby and took her time to explain to us a lot of things we needed to know. As first time parents, the birth of a child is a difficult journey, but Erica was patient, caring, and answered every one of our questions with easy to understand language and walked us through how to navigate our new life. When Erica left our house, we had peace of mind, we felt understood, cared for, and our burden stopped being so heavy. She was the first person (even before her pediatrician) to suggest that our forever crying baby had reflux, and from that day on we were able to treat her accordingly. I cannot recommend Erica enough, the only thing I regret, is not having called her sooner.

Janice Clarke (pronounced Ja-niece) she/her is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and the founder of JC Lactation Counseling, a private practice based in the Bronx, New York, dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally competent breastfeeding support. Her mission is to offer clarity and reassurance to parents navigating their lactation journeys, whether through prenatal education or postpartum consultations, both virtually and in person. Janice’s passion for lactation support stems from her own breastfeeding experience. After giving birth to her son in February 2019, she struggled with severe nipple pain and postpartum anxiety, feeling lost and unsupported by her healthcare team. It wasn’t until a WIC peer counselor identified her son’s poor latch that she found relief—an experience that highlighted the critical need for accessible, knowledgeable lactation professionals. This turning point inspired Janice to enter the field of lactation consulting. With a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a graduate background in public health, Janice pursued formal lactation training through the Center for Breastfeeding, becoming a Certified Lactation Counselor in September 2019. She gained clinical experience through mentorship with a private practice lactation consultant, hospital internship programs, and direct work with families. In 2020, she established JC Lactation Counseling in response to the racial disparities in lactation support, with the goal of increasing representation and ensuring that Black families receive the culturally competent care they deserve. Beyond her private practice, Janice is employed with Public Health Solutions NYC Breastfeeding Warmline, where she provides lactation assistance to families throughout New York City. She has also delivered the Unique Challenges of Black Breastfeeding presentation to organizations such as the New York Lactation Consultant Association, the Massachusetts Breastfeeding Coalition, the Tri-State Breastfeeding Association, and the International Childbirth Education Association. Additionally, she has led workshops at events hosted by the Office of the New York City Public Advocate. Janice is deeply committed to normalizing breastfeeding, promoting human milk as the cultural norm, and empowering marginalized communities with evidence-based information. She envisions a world where every parent has access to the support they need to reach their infant feeding goals without judgment or barriers. Outside of her professional work, Janice is an avid reader—favoring historical romantic fiction, romcoms, and fantasy—and enjoys audiobooks as a way to keep up with her love of storytelling. She has a deep appreciation for food, especially Asian noodle dishes, and dreams of a life where she can travel freely, meet new people, and experience diverse cultures. Her warmth, humor, and ability to connect with others make her a trusted advocate for breastfeeding families and a powerful voice in the lactation community.
Janice is one of a kind! I met her virtually after I delivered my baby and needed help understanding how to relieve engorgement and feed my very fussy baby. She was very patient, listened to my concerns and didn't judge me at all. She helped me figure out that I actually had a high milk supply and suggested ways to manage it. I am grateful for Janice because I would have given up breastfeeding a long time ago. I highly recommend her to any new mom struggling to breastfeed.

Hi. My name is Erica, I am 35 and a mother of four. I became certified as a holistic doula in June 2024. I was lucky to have a doula for the birth of my first son and knew this was my calling. I advocate for all mothers decisions either natural births or medicated, and push for nurses and doctors to follow birthing plans to the best of their ability. I myself had three natural births and one c-section. I assist with any needs from pain management to help with breastfeeding. I am here to be the voice for mothers and babies during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum.
Five stars Erica is knowledgeable and caring . She helped through the whole process. Highly recommend Erica as a doula
