Hi everyone! My name is Rhiannon and I have been a doula since 2019. I am a birth and postpartum doula, with additional knowledge in conception, fertility, and loss.
I cannot recommend Rhiannon and her doula services enough! During my consultation, Rhiannon made me feel so comfortable, calm, and peaceful about the birthing process. She is such a smart, loving, and down-to earth person to have in your corner! I was so nervous about labor and delivery (and everything else that comes after!) But Rhiannon helped me with a birthing plan, (and postpartum plan) gave me GREAT TIPS, and most importantly, listened without judging me, my choices, or my many fears (no matter how small!) When pregnant, EVERYONE gives you advice, but Rhiannon really listens to what YOU want, and helps you to achieve that goal. I also utilized her postpartum services too, as I was very nervous about breastfeeding/pumping. She came to the hospital and gently explained how the pump worked (my little one was in the NICU) and sat with me as I went through that first time pumping. As she sat with me, we had such a wonderful conversation. She makes sure to focus on the Mama! Naturally most people are interested in the baby (and she was WONDERFUL with my little girl too) but she helped me feel like everything I was going through, and feeling was SO normal, especially when my hormones were making my emotions go up and down. It felt like having both a counselor, and a best friend by my side, at the same time. You will not regret using Rhiannon as your Doula! She will care for you, advocate for you, and most importantly, help you feel happy and calm about bringing your little bundle into the world!

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I’m a birth doula servicing the Buffalo area. I was inspired to become a doula after helping my sister with the birth of my niece. As a doula, my job is to provide you with education, support, and to protect your peace during labor. Please feel free to reach out and see if my services fit your needs!
Ashley was kind, patient, and caring. All that I could have asked for my birthing experience that was stressful for a variety of reasons. I cannot express enough how important it is for us all to have an informed advocate during the birthing process. I couldn’t recommend Ashley enough.

Mimi has a gift for truly listening and making you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your choices. As I approached and passed my due date, she spent extra time reassuring me and calming my fears, always offering thoughtful insight and compassion. I am a birth worker since 2012, I have provided a variety of services in a variety of settings around the world. I am located in Toronto, Canada, but I am available to travel for minimum one month commitments. I have worked in Macau & Hong Kong, Manila, Nairobi, Vancouver, and Guadalajara, and have a global perspective on birth physiology and traditions. I provide trauma-informed, and culturally safe care, be it education, lactation support, birth and postpartum doula services, or midwifery care. I’m available as a midwife only where a license isn’t required. My approach is very collaborative—rather than “save” you from unsafe practitioners, I prefer to work with you comprehensively in the prenatal period to be sure you have the environment you need for a peaceful and satisfying (physiologic, if possible) birth. My years and depth of experience and knowledge sets me apart from most locally-focused doulas, so I tend to work well with expats and globe-trotters like myself. My happy place is home in Ontario in the near North, at the cottage that has been a part of my family’s experience for 100+ years. I love all animals but especially dogs, and I ADORE drinking coffee and discussing big ideas.
If you want the best, hire Christy. Where to begin? We LOVED working with Christy. If you’re reading these reviews wondering if you should have her as your doula, you definitely should. Our experience with Christy was nothing short of extraordinary. After the birth, I described Christy to my husband as our angel - as it felt that she magically appeared and blended in, giving just the right level of support and guidance, without being overbearing or intrusive. Her presence felt very natural and she completely put myself and my husband at ease. Christy played a pivotal role in helping me establish breastfeeding, which really helped set us up for success with feeding, and having her there to help with this immediately after the birth was invaluable. After our daughter was born, Christy continued to check in with us, and we felt extremely well looked after. She is clearly an expert both in caring for mothers in the postpartum period, but also in caring for newborns, and her years of experience meant we felt in very capable hands. Her dedication to postpartum care is unmatched, and her deep understanding of the emotional and physical needs of both the birthing person and their partner is truly remarkable. Christy’s passion for what she does shines through in every interaction, and her knowledge in perinatal care is both comforting and empowering. I give Christy my highest recommendation – any family would be very lucky to have her as part of their parenting journey!

From our very first night together, I could feel the difference, she has this intuitive way of knowing exactly what both baby and parents need. She’s warm, confident, deeply knowledgeable, and just so naturally gifted in her work. I was able to sleep deeply knowing our baby was in the very best hands, and I woke up feeling more rested and emotionally lighter every morning she was with us. Words can’t fully express how grateful we are to have had Doris as our birth doula. From the very beginning, she brought such a calming, grounded, and nurturing energy into our journey. She took the time to truly get to know us—our fears, hopes, and birth preferences—and made us feel completely supported and empowered every step of the way. During labor, Doris was an absolute rock. She created a peaceful environment, gently guided me through each contraction, and helped my partner feel confident and involved. Her presence was intuitive and comforting—knowing just when to offer words of encouragement, grounding touch, or simply hold space. She honored our birth plan while remaining flexible and wise when things needed to shift. What stood out most was how she held space not just for the physical birth, but for the emotional and spiritual process too. Her care felt ancestral, like something deep and sacred was being honored. Postpartum, she checked in with such genuine care, offering wisdom, warmth, and reassurance when we needed it most. If you’re looking for a doula who is deeply attuned, knowledgeable, and truly walks beside you in love and respect—Doris is it. She made our birth experience not only beautiful, but transformational

Hi there! My name is Juliet Beckwith (she/her) and I am a certified full spectrum doula with 3 years of experience supporting families in the GTA through birth and postpartum. Let's schedule a consult to learn more about how I can best support your growing family!
Juliet was an incredible addition to our first pregnancy and birth experience. Juliet is a wonderful listener - attentive and in tune to our approach and areas of pregnancy, birth and post-partum that were not as familiar with (and had more questions or concerns). Juliet is incredibly well informed and knowledgeable and her advice/care was always informed by research and expertise, and without judgment. Juliet’s goals were to ensure we were well supported, had an advocate in the room during a hospital birth and to ensure that our experiences were as consistent with our own expectations as possible - not her own expectations, views etc. As someone who has been a people pleaser my whole life, I had assumed so much about the doula relationship and whether there were expectations to labour a certain way but Juliet made very clear that this was my journey (and my partner’s) and that she was there to support us in achieving that. As Juliet says, “You’re the boss!”. Juliet shares a number of resources and tips throughout the relationship which we found to be very helpful (and clearing a lot of the social media pregnancy advice noise). While my labour experience was not what we expected or hoped for, I still walked away from it feeling very positive and cared for, and I especially felt like I was able to make decisions along the way with Juliet’s support of my agency. Juliet was by my side (literally) every step of the way and I’m so grateful for her positive and calming energy through it all. We cannot recommend Juliet enough.

I am a DONA-trained Postpartum Doula and owner of Sage Support. No experience of my life has been as foundation-rattling as having my first child. My husband and I lived far from family and friends, and - like most - our family had other day-to-day responsibilities that kept them busy. Add in a (short) NICU stay, early feeding challenges, and insufficient paternity leave, and I was a mess. In those early days, in between visits from our mothers and sisters, I constructed a tiny village of “nice ladies” - lactation consultants, speech language pathologists, a weekly breastfeeding group, and a psychologist - to put myself back together and stabilize my daughter’s eating. I believe that our country needs significant policy changes that better support families, birthing people, and infants. In the meantime, postpartum doulas can help fill that gap. I went through DONA postpartum doula and breastfeeding training in January 2021, and I’m working on the final requirements to be fully certified. I will work hard to support your family and refer you to other evidence-based professionals.

Hi, my name is Kelli Wixom and I am a proud military and mom to 2 children! My son was the reason I became a pediatric sleep consultant because he put me through the ringer with sleep for the first 2.5 years of his life. So when I tell clients I am a judgement free zone, I mean it! I’ve been there and know how exhausting it is to have a child not sleeping. I love helping families through gentle, personalized plans and one-on-one support that help get your child falling asleep independently and sleeping through the night.
