Tayna was an incredible support during my birth. She brought such calm energy, really listened to what I needed, and helped both me and my partner feel confident and cared for. I honestly can’t imagine going through labor without her she was exactly who we needed by our side.

Oh my God, I love Pearl! Every time I need to book an appointment, I look forward to seeing her. During my prenatal visits, she was always so supportive. Whenever I complained about back pain, she would give me a back rub that really helped. She also taught me breathing techniques and shared many helpful tips throughout my pregnancy. After my baby was born, Pearl continued to be an amazing support. She showed me how to bathe my baby and helped me feel more confident as a new mom. She would even watch my baby while I took a shower, ate a meal, or took care of personal things. I highly recommend Pearl to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby
but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! Hi, I’m Yoli đŸ€đŸ‘¶ A certified doula and experienced Labor & Delivery nurse, and co-founder of Vida Birth Services alongside my business partner, Mercedez. We are proud to be a Latina-owned business based in Riverside, California, serving families throughout the Inland Empire and all surrounding areas. As bilingual providers, we offer support in both English and Spanish to ensure every woman feels understood, respected, and truly cared for—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in labor, delivery, and emergency care, I’ve witnessed both the beauty of birth and the gaps that still exist in how women are prepared and supported. We’ve seen too many women walk into birth feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of their options—and we knew something needed to change. That’s why we created Vida Birth Services 💗 Our mission is to empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support—so they can walk into birth feeling confident, informed, and in control of their experience. At Vida, we offer comprehensive birth education classes designed to teach you exactly what’s happening in your body, what to expect during labor, your options for pain management, and how to recognize and respond to potential complications. We believe that education is power—and when a woman understands her body, she can advocate for herself and make the best decisions for her and her baby. In addition to education, we provide doula support that focuses on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, and strong advocacy during one of the most important moments of your life. From pregnancy through birth, you are never alone—we are there to guide, support, and stand beside you every step of the way. As Latina women in healthcare, this work is deeply personal to us. We are passionate about creating a safe space where women—especially women of color—feel seen, heard, and protected throughout their journey. Every mama deserves to feel heard. Every birth deserves to be respected. And every woman deserves to walk into that room feeling prepared, powerful, and supported. ✹ Vida is more than a service—it’s a movement to change the birth experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Becky with Birth to Latch has been absolutely amazing. Our experience with her has brought us so much peace, confidence, and excitement as we prepare to welcome our first baby. Going into this pregnancy, we had no real guidance on what to expect during labor and birth. As a first-time father, I honestly wasn’t sure what my role would be or how I could best support my wife. After attending Becky’s Comfort Measures class, everything changed. I walked away with a clear understanding of my role as a husband and father during labor, along with practical tools and the confidence to be the support my wife deserves. What makes Becky so special is her warmth and kindness. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment that it genuinely feels like you’re learning from a trusted family member rather than someone you just met. She has a gift for making everyone feel comfortable, heard, and empowered. I especially appreciate that Becky doesn’t just focus on preparing moms she places just as much importance on educating and empowering the birth partner. That made a huge difference for us and strengthened our confidence as a team going into this life-changing experience. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in helping both parents feel prepared, I cannot recommend Becky and Birth to Latch enough. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our birth journey.

Jade was an amazing doula for our family. She is calm, compassionate and very hands on in supporting all things birth and post partum. I could not have gotten through my unmedicated birth without her. She guided me through positions and provided counter pressure to progress labor and relieve pain. She supported us postpartum as well, even connecting with our older daughter to help her feel special during the big transition. Thank you Jade!!

I truly don’t even know where to begin because words don’t feel adequate to describe what Nicole has meant to our family. From the very beginning of my pregnancy through labor, birth, and now postpartum, she has been there every step of the way. She checked in on me constantly, always making sure I was okay physically and emotionally. She wasn’t just someone I hired—she became family. At no point did our relationship ever feel like a business transaction. It felt deeply personal, genuine, and full of love and care. I honestly don’t know how she’s able to be so available, but somehow she’s always just one text or phone call away. No matter what came up, she always had a resource, solution, or piece of guidance. Whether it was prenatal exercises (which actually helped turn my baby from a malposition less than 2 weeks before delivery!), postpartum questions, breastfeeding support, emotional encouragement, or simply someone to talk to, she always knew exactly what I needed. She also helped me through so many stressful life events that weren’t even pregnancy-related. She offered wisdom through interpersonal situations, helped me process emotions, and was a steady source of support during one of the biggest seasons of my life. She truly says, “You’ve got me for life,” and after experiencing her care firsthand, I believe she means every word. Nicole has such a special gift for empowering moms. She created a birth plan that respected every one of my personal wishes. During my high-risk pregnancy, she helped me advocate for myself and even advocated alongside me in the hospital. She never pressured me into making any decisions, never made me feel judged, and always presented information in a way that helped me make confident, informed choices about my own care. Her knowledge of the Kaiser system was invaluable. She was incredibly professional while also being warm and personable. She communicated seamlessly with the nurses and doctors, knew how to navigate the hospital environment, and helped make what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable. Everything up to that point had shown me she was an exceptional doula, but watching her during labor showed me why she was born to do this work. Labor itself is where Nicole became absolutely priceless. My contractions started around 3:00 in the morning, and from that moment on, Nicole was right there with me—even before we left for the hospital. We stayed in constant communication by phone and text while she timed my contractions through an app, talked me through each wave, answered my questions, and helped me determine when it was finally time to head to Kaiser. We arrived at the hospital around 7:00 AM, and she arrived just minutes later, ready to jump in and support us. When my contractions became incredibly intense, I genuinely don’t know how I would have gotten through the pain—or honestly, the entire labor experience—without her. While I was crying through contractions, she remained calm and grounded. She adjusted the lighting to create a peaceful environment, coached my breathing, used comfort techniques to help manage my pain, and stayed completely focused on helping me cope until I was finally able to receive my epidural. She also communicated my needs to the hospital staff and helped advocate for quicker pain relief when I needed it most. Having someone so calm and compassionate by my side made all the difference. In the middle of one of the hardest days of my life, she became my calm. From that point on, she stayed with us the entire day and didn’t leave until nearly 11:00 PM, after I had finally been transferred to my postpartum room—and only after making sure I was already scheduled with a lactation consultant. That’s the level of care she provides. She doesn’t just show up for the birth; she walks with you through every step until she knows you’re truly taken care of. Everything she recommended throughout my pregnancy helped prepare me for labor. Her advice was practical, evidence-based, and incredibly reassuring. I truly felt like I could trust her. All I had to do was listen, and she helped make the entire process go as smoothly as possible. Even now, she continues to support me through postpartum with the same compassion, encouragement, and availability she’s shown from the beginning. I genuinely feel like I’ve gained a close friend and another member of our family. Nicole has the right heart for this work. Not everyone can be a doula, but this is absolutely her calling. She has a rare gift for caring for women and families during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives, and it shows in everything she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and selfless. I could honestly go on and on. If you’re wondering whether hiring a doula is worth it, let me tell you this: you don’t know what you need from a doula—but Nicole does. She anticipates needs you didn’t even know you had, and once you’ve experienced that kind of support, you’ll wonder how anyone ever gives birth without one. I fully plan to continue using her services even after my insurance-covered visits are over because her care is simply priceless. There are very few investments you’ll make during pregnancy that have this kind of impact, and I can say without hesitation that she is worth every penny. I believe God brought Nicole into our lives for a reason, and I will always be grateful that He did. You will not regret choosing Nicole.
