About me

I am a certified Birth Doula and Breastfeeding Councelor practicing in the Ottawa, Cornwall and Brockville regions of Ontario. I am a mother of 7 and grandmother to one. I support mothers and their partners to have confident, well-informed births by teaching the most current evidence-based methods for comfort and pain relief. My job is to ensure the mother's well-being and strengthen her feelings of empowerment in her birth experience. I specialize in reassuring highly anxious mothers that they are safe and supported. I also assist in establishing Breastfeeding right after birth and in the early days of newborn care.

My services include continual presence throughout labour and delivery. Teaching comfort measures and positions for labour. Establishing Breastfeeding. Newborn care and Postpartum services.

Packages

Basic Birth Bundle

2 prenatal visits (1-2 hrs ea), unlimited text, phone and email support, on call from week 37, use of birthing ball and other comfort tools in labour, complimentary rice filled heating bag for use during labour, remain Post delivery for min. 1 hr to establish breastfeeding. One Postpartum visit within 14 days of birth (1-2 hrs)
