I was extremely anxious during my second pregnancy after having a miscarriage during my first. I didn’t know what to do and had many questions with just about everything. Cheyenne was very patient, friendly, and professional. She answered about every question I had and provided me with great support. I was about to relax a little bit with her around. I will definitely work with her again the next time around.

Tia is passionate about the care of birthing people’s mental health and wellbeing; her goal is to help birthing peoples achieve their most positive birth experience. Tia uses movement, positioning, education, words of encouragement and affirmations to guide her clients through the stages of labor. She is very passionate about prenatal education, and strives to provide evidence based, unbiased information to all expecting parents. Tia believes a beautiful birth story is something to behold for a lifetime. There is nothing you can’t achieve when given the right amount of support, love, care, and self-determination! Tia is from southern NH where she lives with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending the day in the sun with her family, gardening, crocheting and volunteering within the community. “I believe in the power of advocacy, compassion, and education during this vulnerable and momentous time. Everyone deserves someone to be a trusted guide, confidant, and friend with continuity of care through pregnancy, birth and parenthood. Holding space for families, offering encouragement, and helping them navigate the labyrinth of birth excites and inspires me.” — Tia
There are not enough kind words I can say about Tia. She was present for my second birth, and I stand by I could not have done it without her. She provided such a fun, calm atmosphere. It was like having a best friend to hang out with while you brought your child into the world. From supportive texts, helpful informational videos, to answering my questions during pregnancy, to holding my hand through outrageous contractions she was there when I needed her with a calm voice and motivational words. One of my concerns was how my partner would feel about having another support person in the room with us. Tia ended up having some great insightful funny conversations with him. So much so that he asks how she is all the time. My birth went from 0-1000 very quickly. Everything became a scary/ traumatic situation, Tia never left my side. In my most vulnerable moments, at my absolute scariest moments she was there to talk to me, to listen to the Doctors when I couldn't process what was happening, and when my partner needed to leave me she was there. I will forever be grateful to her ability to guide my family through one of the toughest moments of our lives.

Hi, we are Anna and Ashley, Registered Nurses specializing in High Risk Obstetrics and founders Of Birth Savvy LLC. Meet Ashley RN, BSN My career began in pediatric primary care and community health, but my true passion led me to Labor & Delivery in 2015. For several years, I worked at one of Boston’s top institutions, caring for high-risk and critically ill birthing patients. I was driven to expand my expertise beyond the delivery room—supporting families holistically throughout their entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. In 2021, I transitioned into Maternal Fetal Medicine, deepening my knowledge of complex pregnancies and high-risk care. My mission is to provide a culturally competent, integrated approach that nurtures both physical and emotional well-being. Beyond my professional experience, I’ve personally navigated a high-risk pregnancy and birth—a journey that sparked my Aha! moment: knowledge, paired with unwavering support, is the true key to empowerment in the perinatal and postpartum experience. That realization led me to create Birth Savvy, because every birthing person deserves high-quality education, autonomy, and confidence. I mix humor, encouragement, and real talk to help parents connect mind and body, fuel inner strength, and embrace birth without fear. I’m a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, and trained in perinatal mental health. When I’m not empowering families, you’ll find me traveling, watching action movies, enjoying great food, listening to music, and, of course, being a mom! Meet Anna RN, MSN I’m Anna, a dedicated OB nurse with over 13 years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, abortion care, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. My passion for childbirth started early, inspired by my grandmother’s stories shared around the dinner table. From the moment I stepped into nursing, I knew supporting families through pregnancy and birth was my calling. Beyond hospital-based care, I earned a Master’s in Public Health and worked in community health, providing vital reproductive care and family planning services. As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner, and Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) specialist, I bring a holistic and evidence-based approach to every birth experience. My goal is to help families feel calm, confident, and in control, no matter their journey. I founded Birth Savvy because the greatest joy in my career has been guiding parents toward empowered, informed choices—no matter how complex their situation may be. When I’m not working, you’ll find me cooking, traveling, re-learning piano, or tackling endless home improvement projects!

I’m a compassionate lactation provider offering both virtual and in home consultations. There are so many factors within both the breastfeeding parent and baby that can impact the experience. I also practice infant craniosacral therapy, which is a very gentle manual therapy that can help release tension in the baby and optimize function for breastfeeding. I especially love offering continual care over the course of the breastfeeding journey. I am in network with Aetna, Mass General Brigham, United and Cigna.

Kim is absolutely amazing! I have struggled with low supply, yeast and mastitis between both of my boys and Kim has been a tremendous help through each and every challenge I’ve encountered along the way. She not only has a wealth of knowledge but has incredible first hand experience as well. I was at such a loss when I tried contacting lactation consultants in my area only to find no one would get back to me. Kim responded to me within the hour I contacted her and was able to identify the problem and help me manage my pain until I was seen by a dr for a prescription. She is so kind and genuinely loves what she does and wants to help women in their breastfeeding, pumping or bottle feeding journeys. I am so excited to continue working with her in the future. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to help me “Embrace Lactation.”

Ashley's journey into the realm of motherhood was marked by challenges, particularly with postpartum anxiety following the birth of her son. The experience, not aligning with her envisioned childbirth, significantly impacted her postpartum transition. This prompted Ashley to delve into the intricacies of childbirth, recognizing a pressing need for maternal support during both the birthing process and postpartum period.Motivated by her own transformative experience, Ashley decided to pursue a homebirth with her daughter, finally obtaining the birthing and postpartum support she had sought. This pivotal moment inspired her to undergo comprehensive training as a birth and postpartum doula. Ashley's commitment to her role is evident in her diverse training background, including certifications from CAPPA, Newborn Mothers Collective, and Birth Arts International. Ashley is currently undergoing training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is actively accepting clients under the guidance of her mentor. As part of her commitment to supporting mothers, Ashley extends special discounts for those opting for homebirth and for repeat birth clients.
We had a great experience with Ashley! She was always available and able to help during both the prenatal and postpartum periods. Her questions were thoughtful and helped me think through our priorities, understand my anxieties, and offer great suggestions for both the birth and postpartum periods. Ashley was at my birth, which was really fast so there was not much time for anything, but she was great at helping my husband know how to be helpful during the birth and offered really good massage and lactation support. She knew my birth preferences front to back and was helpful as the go-between when necessary. She were especially good at calming me down while I was waiting to go into labor and offering tips to activate labor. She is a wealth of knowledge and a fabulous support system during such a vulnerable time.
