About me

Hi my name is Kimberly, I'm a certified Doula trained with OKBEI. My mission is to provide continuous, emotional, physical, and informational support to Mother's during and after childbirth up to 3 months after baby is born unless more time is needed for you to establish the confidence you need with the baby. Whether you are first time mom or experienced with other pregnancies I'm here to help you have the best labor and birth outcome for you. and birth outcome for you.

Service introduction

I offer 5 prenatal visits, 3 postpartum for a total of 8 visits. * I help you create a Birth Plan that you want * Prepare you for your pregnancy give you resources and information to help you understand yourself and baby * Be a supportive and listening ear to you and family * Provide techniques to help you during labor and delivery. Examples- breathing, relaxation, movement, and changing positions

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a VBAC delivery, (vaginal birth after a Ceserean?)

Yes you can, if you find a doctor that is experienced and willing to do VBACS. And you haven't had back to back C-sections in a short period of time. Having had at least one vaginal birth, a healthy pregnancy with no complications, baby being head down, and low-transverse incision with previous C-section increases your success rate which is 60-80%

Does having a Doula really make a difference

Women have a higher success rate of having natural births and the kind of labor and delivery they would like with less pain management needed. And lower infant deaths when having a doula to support them.
