HEY NEW BESTIE, I'M KIM AND I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE. I am the owner and head doula for Birthing Days doula birth and postpartum services and education. I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and sleep consultant. My passion is helping families feel confident, supported, and cared for through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and life with a newborn. I believe that every family’s journey is unique, and my role is to walk alongside you with encouragement, evidence-based information, and nonjudgmental support. Whether I’m guiding you through labor, helping you adjust during those tender postpartum weeks, teaching you the tools for an empowered birth, or supporting your baby’s sleep journey, my goal is always the same: to nurture your confidence and help you feel calm, capable, and cared for. A little about me: I was born and raised in Oregon, and I truly love all four seasons—each one brings its own joy and beauty. I’ve been married to my best friend for 24 years, and together we’ve raised three amazing children who continue to inspire me every day. When I’m not working with families, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, getting in a workout, or spending time outdoors camping and traveling. Disneyland has a special place in my heart, and I love creating memories there with my family. On game days, you’ll almost always catch me cheering for my teams—I’m a huge Oregon Ducks and Notre Dame Irish fan! Why I do this work: Motherhood and family life have shown me just how powerful, challenging, and beautiful these seasons can be. I know firsthand how important it is to feel supported, respected, and empowered—and that’s what I want every family I work with to experience.
