Kim was so helpful- a calming and informative presence. This was so needed, especially when everything went haywire- she adapted to our needs as I went into labor a month early, and had to unexpectedly change hospitals. She was quite literally my only predictable factor in this experience. Her advocacy and communication skills were always on point, and she was so easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!

Kim and Lauren are a fantastic doula team. It was great working with both of them beforehand, and know that either one would be available when the big day came. Kim has been an incredible Doula throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum! She is there whenever you have questions (and there are always so many questions as a FTM!). I loved her calm, reassuring and knowledgeable presence. We took classes through her and we loved that they were in our house so we could really visualize bringing home our baby and learned SO much. On my birthing day (Christmas Eve) I was so happy to have her there to help guide me and my husband through the birth of my dreams! I am so happy with how it went and Kim was a big part of that! We are so glad we found Kim and she made our entire experience go smoother and be less stressful. I wasnt sure if we needed a doula at first, but with our midwives changing so much we decided to go forward with it and instantly clicked with Kim's personality and style. Now we suggest a doula to all our friends and specifically Kim for people in our area. She answered all of our questions before, during, and after labor and helped us navigate through the conflicting internet advice. She helped me develop a birth plan and format it in a way that the medical team appreciated and followed. She showed my partner how to be helpful to me throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum process which is definitely something we appreciate because I didn't know what I wanted or needed since this was my first child. I felt calm and safe doing the initial laboring at home because she was there to assure me that the things I was feeling were normal and to check on my contraction times to know when things were getting serious. We took her classes so we felt more prepared and it definitely helped us immensely. I can't say enough good things about Kim and how helpful she was! Our interactions were all digital due to the pandemic, but the amount of support I got made it feel like we were meeting in person. When the day finally came (and I got to meet Kim in person finally) it was so far from what I envisioned my birth to be like that you would think I'd have panicked. Having Kim in the room with my husband and I was priceless. She was always calm and collected, helping us to understand and process everything going on. A person we could both lean on in our most trying moments. I know my birth would not have felt so positive at the time if she wasn't there with us. Kim attended my birth as a doula, and her support to me while bringing my daughter into this world was and is such a gift to me and my family. Kim was there to cheer me on, support me and even take pictures of our birth for me. At one point in my labor when things had gotten incredibly intense, she held onto me so that I could stand and thus speed the labor on. In Kim you'll find a dedicated doula who will always go the extra mile to ensure you and your baby are cared for.

I learned more about childbirth from my meetings with Kim than any class or book. She helped me prepare for labor and gave me the confidence I needed to have a natural, unmedicated delivery. I felt empowered by her. During my 12 hour labor she was a constant support by my side. During early labor she helped me use the birthing ball and breathing techniques with contractions to help ease the pain. I couldn't have planned a better birth!
