My passion for birth work began long before I knew what a doula was. I’ve always been drawn to mothers and deeply curious about pregnancy, how it transforms the body, mind, and spirit. I grew up knowing my mother’s birth stories by heart, and even then I sensed that she deserved more compassionate care and stronger advocacy. In college, a course called Pregnancy and Power opened my eyes to the realities of the U.S. maternal healthcare system and the consequences of highly medicalized childbirth. Hearing doulas and midwives speak about their work and the purpose behind it sparked something deep in me. I had never felt more aligned with a calling. Following that pull, I completed my birth and postpartum doula certification through Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks. Learning from Kathrin Auger and Ana Paula Markel only affirmed that this is the work I am meant to do. As a doula, my role is to support you in connecting with your own innate strength, intuition, and wisdom so you can make informed choices for yourself and your baby. Every mother deserves to be seen, heard, and supported without judgement. My goal is to hold space for you, steadily and compassionately, so you can birth and parent from a place of confidence, peace, and love.

I offer gentle, heart-centered birth doula support that’s focused on helping you feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for during one of the most meaningful moments of your life. From pregnancy through labor and birth, I’m there to offer calm reassurance, hands-on comfort, and steady encouragement, while honoring your choices and intuition. I support all birth spaces and work collaboratively with your care team so you feel heard, empowered, and never alone. My intention is to create a grounding, loving presence and walk beside you as you welcome your baby with confidence and trust. I offer nurturing, hands-on postpartum doula support centered around rest, nourishment, and gentle care for your whole household. In those early weeks, I’m there to support you in practical and emotional ways: providing newborn care, holding space for your feelings, and offering guidance as you adjust to life with your baby. I believe postpartum nutrition is vital to a strong, supported recovery, and I prioritize preparing nourishing, healing meals and snacks, supporting hydration, and helping ensure your body is getting the proper nutrients it needs as it heals. Along with light household support, help caring for pets and animals, and overnight care if needed, my goal is to create a calm, comforting space where you can rest, recover, and bond, knowing you’re deeply supported during this sacred transition.
Jane was an incredible birth assistant and helped make our birth experience a beautiful one to remember! We truly appreciate her emotional and physical presence throughout the entire birth. Her pain management support through contractions helped me endure the difficult stage in labor. She always knew what to do ahead of time. Her willingness to give excellent service through words of affirmation, hydration and nourishment and acts of service helped create a smooth and peaceful labor. We’re so grateful for her reliable and encouraging birth support! From Grandmother I have high praises of Jane’s support, loving kindness and that she included me as a part of the birth experience. Whenever a helping hand was needed Jane was there to volunteer. I’m so glad she helped assist my daughter in bringing my grandson into the world.

We are incredibly grateful for the support Jane provided during our baby’s first six weeks. She was truly instrumental during a very challenging period for our family. She came every day and offered steady, compassionate support as I recovered from both a C-section and a knee injury. Her care for our newborn was always gentle, attentive, and reassuring, which gave us so much peace of mind as new parents. Beyond baby care, she helped keep our household functioning when we needed it most, allowing us to focus on healing and bonding. Her presence made an overwhelming time feel manageable, and we cannot recommend her highly enough to any family in need of knowledgeable, dependable, and heartfelt postpartum support. Thank you, Jane!

I was having a hard time finding the right doula and I’m so happy we ended up finding Jane. I wasn’t sure I was going to need a doula but I’m so glad we ended up going for it. Jane was extremely helpful during the laboring process which of course did not go according to plan and it was necessary to have someone around to help keep things moving, support me during pain and help navigate the changes as they came about. My partner, who had never even heard of a doula before, was the most relieved because it gave him an opportunity to take breaks and also have some guidance and support. She’s continued to be a helpful for our little family postpartum. 10/10 would recommend working with her!
