Kahla was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a wife and mother of three, one daughter and two sons, ages 13, 7, and 3. Kahla's own experience during the birth of her first child led her to discover her passion for supporting others on their journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond. After a somewhat traumatic first birth experience, Kahla and her husband made the decision to hire a doula for their second child's birth. It was during this experience that Kahla recognized the profound impact a doula can have on the birthing process. Her newfound passion for empowering and supporting expectant mothers and families led her to become a doula herself in 2017. Kahla completed her Doula Training Course through DONA International. In the seven years since, Kahla has been a steadfast presence in the Jacksonville birth community serving families in hospital, home and birth center settings. She understands the profound, life long impact of childbirth experiences. Kahla has supported over 100 families as they brought new life into the world, with many more expectant mothers awaiting her support. Her heartfelt passion knows no bounds. Kahla is honored to be considered for your birth team and looks forward to the opportunity to meet you!

I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. For all three, I had the same doula by my side sharing her 30+ years of wisdom. In 2023, I formalized my training and certifications and have been focusing on doula work full-time. Aside from parenting my sons, it is my biggest privilege and joy to serve mothers in this vulnerable time, and I look forward to knowing and serving you during your journey. I strongly believe it is the right of the birthing person to choose whatever path is right for them. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different. If you choose me to be by your side, my promise is to help you and your partner bring that vision to life. Knowing birth can be unpredictable, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel safe, loved, empowered and strong every step of the way. I would love to talk with you about your wishes for your birth. Get in touch with me today to set up a free consultation.
Amanda was an absolute blessing throughout our entire birth journey. From the very beginning, during our prenatal visits, she was a wealth of knowledge, helping us prepare for birth in a way that felt both empowering and reassuring. She was always responsive and available whenever we had questions or needed guidance leading up to labor. After going to 41 weeks and 5 days, I had to be induced—a change in plan that could have felt overwhelming. But Amanda remained so positive and encouraging, reminding us that while the journey might shift, the destination would remain the same. That mantra stayed with me throughout my labor. She arrived early in the morning once I was induced, bringing the most thoughtful items that set the perfect energy in the room—essential oils, calming lights, and even the perfect snacks and drinks to keep me going. She knew exactly how to support both me and my husband, stepping in when he needed rest and always offering guidance with love and respect. Throughout my 36-hour labor, she suggested different positions and techniques to help—moving from the shower to the tub, trying inversions, and offering hip squeezes, encouragement, and sips of green tea. Even when labor wasn’t progressing, leading to an informed and non-emergent belly birth, I still felt completely empowered, thanks to Amanda’s unwavering support. She stayed for the birth, capturing beautiful photos and videos—precious moments my husband wouldn’t have been able to get since he was by my side. I will always treasure those images as they document the moment we became parents. Her care didn’t end there. The follow-up visit at our home was just as wonderful. She took the time to reflect on our experience together and offered invaluable breastfeeding tips and tricks. Amanda has such a warm and calming spirit—it truly felt like we had known her forever. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to have Amanda in their corner. She made our birth experience one filled with love, empowerment, and unwavering support. We cannot recommend her enough!

Hi! I'm Katherine Clare, a local birth doula and breastfeeding counselor serving Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area. Being a doula is an absolute joy for me. It's my passion as a birth doula that your wishes are heard and honored during labor and birth. Whatever your walk or desires are for birth, know that it matters, YOU matter mama, and how your space is honored during birth matters.
Choosing Katherine as my doula was one of the best choices I made in my last pregnancy. It was a little late in the game and from the start she jumped right in to help me. I wanted a very different birth from the experience I’d had with my first baby. With Katherine’s help that is exactly what I had, a completely different and wonderful birth experience. She was instantly my safe place of zero judgement and a vast wealth of information. I have and will always hold space in my heart for Katherine as her constant encouragement, support, and understanding were priceless to me in bringing my sweet boy into the world.

Hello there! My name is Rachel Sultzer and I am a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Breastfeeding Educator and Certied Postpartum and Infant Care Doula located in Jacksonville, Florida. My passion for child and family care stems from my start as a childcare provider over twenty (20) years ago. Most recently my role as full time nanny quickly reaffirmed my strength in not only caring for infants and small children, but providing comprehensive family support - especially to new and nursing mothers. After serving as a volunteer “Infant Cuddler” for at-risk infants at the UF Shands neonatal intensive care unit, my dedication to helping children was deepened even more. After watching one of my mamas struggle with breastfeeding and experience first hand the the lack of support and education from the community of people surrounding her, I knew I wanted to do more to help; I had to do more. In July 2017 I received my Lactation Counselor Certification from Healthy Children Project Inc., Center for Breastfeeding. Under the guidance and mentor-ship of Kelly Googe, with Womb to World Doula Services, I have been able to work with lots of mamas in the Jacksonville area. As a Certified Lactation Counselor and Certified Breastfeeding Educator my mission is to educate the public on the importance of breastfeeding; to encourage and empower women to make decisions that work for them and to provide guidance and support during a such a delicate but amazing time in a mama’s life. My motto will always be a happy and healthy mama will always equal a happy and healthy family! As a caregiver I have seen so many families struggle during the fourth (4th) trimester, defined as the first twelve (12) weeks after birth, and even beyond. As a Cerified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor I strive to enable your family to find confidence by providing everyone with non-judgmental unwavering support, evidence based education and most importantly listening ears. My goal is to validate concerns, provide solutions, and offer guidance based on your family’s needs. I want all of my families to feel supported during the fourth (4th) trimester and beyond. Adding a new little one to the mix can be as equally rewarding and challenging. Let me be there to guide and support you through your new normal! My role is not limited to just mamas and their babies; I am also there to aid the entire family with this new and exciting transition.

We cannot say enough good things about Caitlin! She was amazing. She made the experience so calm and stress free, she would step in when my husband got tired (😅) she was as hands on/off as I wanted and the items she brought with her to make the hospital dreamy/cozy was awesome! She was there for anything I needed. A super selfless doula and genuinely cares about you & birth!!! Can’t recommend her enough! You won’t regret it!

My name is Gabrielle and I’m from Central Florida . I started this journey of birth world years ago when I gave birth to my son. As the years passed the birth world just stood out to me little by little. Becoming a Doula was something that I thought about but after witnessing my first birth with a family member that is where it sparked the fire . I attended a Dona training and other trainings that helped me get certified as a doula and with placenta encapsulation. I have also birth assisted for a few years with local midwives . I continue to grow with every birth that I have been blessed to be a part of . It brings me joy to know i can help the birth world one person at a time.

While living in Charlotte, NC we got pregnant with our son & I was immediately in love with learning everything that I could about pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. The more I learned the more I became overwhelmed and amazed at the work of the woman’s body in this intense time period. I got a doula who helped me understand so much about the birth process and I could never have been thankful enough for the role she played in allowing me to have a birth I can look back on with fondness. Throughout this process she helped me realize this is something I could do myself for others! I then connected the dots between my previous interest in counseling and newfound love for pregnancy and birth and realized that being a doula would suit all my loves: helping people through HUGE life events & birth. I am passionate about women feeling equipped and empowered to have the birth that they desire- medicated, unmedicated, planned, spontaneous, etc. As a Birth Doula I plan to help guide you through the pregnancy with education, support, and preparation for birth and postpartum. I will assist and encourage you through labor in the way that we decide would best fit you and help as you adjust to life with a new baby. My goal as a doula is for you to leave your birth empowered and encouraged.

Hello! My name is Haley and I am a birth and postpartum doula as well as a raw birth photographer located in St. Augustine, FL and serving areas around me, Jacksonville, Orlando, palm coast and come central Florida cities. Prior to becoming a Doula I was a Nurse of seven years and have a wide background in photography. I enjoy all things family, babies and birth! I cannot wait to meet you!
There's so much to say about Haley so I hope I can make this all fit. She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. For my postpartum she was there as a postpartum live-in doula the moment I called until she and I both knew I was ready to be 100% on my own. My husband was deployed when I had my little babe, so Haley had big shoes to fill & she did just that. She did everything from verbally encouraging me through my transition, to physically helping me where I needed it the most. She helped prep my meals for the days to come, she helped with my little one so I could eat on my own, shower or get some time to myself to just breathe. She was extremely understanding, sweet, compassionate & my voice when I needed to be heard. Without her, I'm not sure how my first weeks would have been. She made it so much easier for me to transition into this new role of being a mom. She also took AMAZING newborn photos of my little babe & they are something that I will forever cherish. They captured every little detail and precious memory of my baby. She was so gentle and excellent with him. During the photos he never once made a noise and was completely comfortable the entire time. She handled everything so flawlessly from one thing to the next, you could really tell she was comfortable and knew what she was doing which allowed me to put so much trust into her & I couldn't be more grateful for her. When we decide to have another baby, Haley is the first person I am calling and I would 100% recommend her to any family or friends having a baby. She truly makes you'r experience one of kind and removes all the stress
