Hello, my name is Alanacapri and I am Certified Postpartum Doula. I currently work for myself and I assist new moms after birth. I can help with housework, laundry, meal prep, caring for baby while Mom sleeps, showers or just takes a break. I can assist mom and provide referrals for/answer questions and concerns regarding the baby or her recovery. The benefits to my service is largely that mom doesn't feel like everything is all on her, during a time that she needs to focus on recovery.

Hello! My name is Diane Lim and I am a postpartum doula. I have two children of my own - two beautiful baby boys. I became interested in postpartum doula care when I was going through the postpartum season with my firstborn. I just thought to myself how there isn't enough support for women who are going through the biggest transition of their lives! I want moms of all life stages to feel supported and cared for.

Babies are a blessing and childbirth is a miracle! I’ve been blessed with four beautiful children and six beautiful GRANDchildren myself. With my love of babies and the incredible miracle of birth, I found the desire to become a Postpartum Doula. Bringing a new baby home is a life-changing event and integrating that new little bundle of joy into the family can be overwhelming. As your Doula, I will make this transition easier for the entire family. My role as your Doula will also be to provide education, non-judgmental support and companionship. I will offer my expertise in newborn care and breastfeeding support. I will also offer evidence based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, infant soothing and coping skills. I will make appropriate referrals when necessary. I am a certified Doula through DONA International. The training I received through DONA increased my knowledge and ambition to offer the nurturing care new moms, infants and families so deserve! Hours for my services will be flexible to meet the needs of your family including overnights and travel. I am current in both adult, infant CPR and First Aid Safety Certifications through the American Heart Association. Also, I am current on vaccinations and Trustline Certified. I look forward to being your “extra pair of loving hands” and my goal is to simplify your life as new parents.

I found my way to birth work through a journey of infertility and loss. I have found my passion in helping others transition through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

I offer overnight support for families with newborns. Besides supporting parents in the care for their newborn I also love to ‘mother the mother’ as she needs to rest and recover in the fourth trimester. I offer practical support, such as help with (breast)feeding, making sure mom stays hydrated and rested, clean bottles and pump parts, help with baby laundry etc. I also provide evidence based information on newborn care as well as emotional support to process all the changes and offer parents encouragement where needed. I’m your biggest cheerleader to become confident in your parenting skills and style!
