Hi I鈥檓 Emily! 馃コ I鈥檓 a Jesus follower, Wife, Mama, & Birth & Postpartum Doula! I believe every mother deserves to be supported with compassion and intention as she helps her babies grow and come into the world. In my personal pregnancy journey, I experienced a successful diet-based management of my Gestational Diabetes followed by a peaceful homebirth. God has created us to do beautiful, strong, awe inspiring things & I continue to feel a deep sense of honor to hold space for the mamas I work with at home, birth centers, and hospitals! Service introduction
I offer birth and postpartum care. I work with my birth clients in a very personalized way, starting in pregnancy to help them form a birth plan and to become familiar with a variety of care & comfort measures that could be useful to them during labor. I support births in person that take place at home, birth centers, and hospitals. I am on call surrounding the due date not only to be present for labor and delivery but also to answer any questions- yes, even at 3 am! 鈽猴笍 My postpartum clients also receive personalized care based on their needs. I am able to care for both Mama and baby as they adjust to their new life together and recover from birth. I can support breastfeeding, care for the baby to allow Mama to sleep, take care of the housework, meal prep, run errands, and even babysit older siblings.

Emily was my doula for two of my babies, first as a post partum doula and then as my birth doula. She is compassionate, thoughtful, dedicated, and so joyful. Her impact was felt in her encouragement from the first contractions to learning how to breastfeed. She was a supportive and calming presence in otherwise chaotic times, and very attentive to the needs of the moment. When it got tough, I was so glad to have Emily to keep me grounded. Hiring Emily to be a part of by birth experience was the best decision I could have made! She was an amazing doula and was so supportive throughout my whole labor.
