I began my birth work journey after working in maternal mental health research at UNC for 4 years and hearing countless stories of birth trauma which only contributed to new mother's PPD, I decided it was time to be on the front lines and dove headfirst into birthwork. I believe that birth doesn't have to be traumatic, that it can be a sacred, transformative, and empowering journey unique to each individual.

After years of working with children ages 0 to 9 years-old, I finally found her passion caring for families doing doula work. I have been a certified doula since 2018 for postpartum, and 2020 for Labor. My interest in postpartum work was sparked when my little sister was born; I truly believed that this sweet angel was brought into this world as my baby. I'm passionate about childbirth, mamas, and babies, and I've dedicated my life to helping families experience a birth and postpartum beyond their expectations.
