Briana Smith is an Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Her advanced training and certifications include When Survivors Give Birth, Rebozo Use in Labor, Postpartum Belly Binding Professional, Systemic Racism & Implicit Bias in Perinatal Health, and Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness. Briana received her BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her passion for maternal and reproductive health sparked. She went on to receive her MPH from East Carolina University. She has experience supporting couples, single parents, advanced maternal age, VBAC/VBA2C, sexual trauma and assault survivors, high and low risk births, cesarean births, and families who have experienced or are expecting a loss. Briana has extensive experience working as a doula and an educator in all of our local area hospitals, birth centers, and in home. She is passionate about providing evidence based, unbiased education and helping her clients to make their own informed decisions. Briana's open, direct, and honest communication style paired with her empathic, compassionate personality allows her to be the best advocate and support for families before, during, and after birth. Briana currently lives in Eastern Wake County (though she'll always be a northerner at heart!) She loves the beach, but also loves snuggling up in a blanket with hot chocolate in a log cabin in the winter time (ah, there's her New Englander side!)

Hey there! My name is Naomi Carrington. I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator in Louisburg, serving the greater Raleigh Triangle area. I'm passionate about childbirth, mamas, and babies, and I've dedicated my life to helping families experience a birth and postpartum beyond their expectations. Birth does not have to be seen as a fearful thing, but something women were designed for. Living overseas has helped to shape who I am today and the services I offer. Over the past few years I have mainly attended home births which is my 'happy place'. But no matter where you plan to deliver, I guide my clients in preparing both their minds and bodies for labor and offer full informed support of their choices. Hello! My name is Lindsay Osterhoudt and I live in Raleigh, NC. I was lucky enough to discover Hypnobabies during my first pregnancy, before the days of Facebook and Social Media! Hello, my name is Ambria and I’m a certified birth doula through DONA international. I have several years of experience working in the healthcare industry including OBGYN, and my experience there has helped me come to the conclusion that I want to give women more individualized and direct care. I’ve provided both in-person and virtual doula support. I'm here to support you in having the birth that you feel is best for you and your health, whether that birth is a scheduled induction, a repeat cesarean section, a natural delivery, or a VBAC. Hi my name is Jerilyn Free but I go by “Jeri”. I am from the Triad are and am definitely a unicorn in this field. I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Certified Birth Doula. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2016. I have assisted in vaginal births, c-sections, vbacs, water births, virtual doula work, and have supported families that have dealt with a loss. My experience is wide! Currently, I work in a hospital as a Lactation Consultant. My special touch is assisting families in the early days of learning your baby. Working with teens/young adults. These times are very important. Many times birthing parents may not get that special attention. So as a doula and an LC, I am can be there at the birth and can assisting you with your feeding needs.
