As a first-time mother, I faced a challenging journey—from navigating early trimester symptoms to the uncertainty of labor and delivery. I had the privilege of connecting with a doula, and I was truly honored to have Breana by my side throughout every stage of my pregnancy.

Despite my fears surrounding my C-section delivery, Breana stood by me as my strongest advocate. She ensured the hospital staff provided the highest level of care while respecting my preferences and decisions every step of the way.

I wholeheartedly recommend that every pregnant woman consider having Breana as their doula. She is truly exceptional!

I met Breana early on in my pregnancy, and knew she was a completely warm and passionate professional that would help me somewhere in my birthing journey.

I decided that I wanted birthing/prenatal education that expanded outside of a class at our hospital. We discussed options and went for a hybrid (2 in person, one at home class.)

I was blown away at how knowledgeable, compassionate and truly a light Breana is. She helped my husband and I feel comfortable about the pregnancy, labor and newborn care process. I was able to ask questions, no matter how silly they seemed, and she was so validating.

I am going into labor any day now and know that I am armed with knowledge but also empowerment. She reminded me that I can do this, and every step is closer to our baby. I am so thankful for Breana and I would be the first person to recommend her to any woman going through this life changing process.

Thank you again, Breana, you're the best!

As a first time mom, I was so nervous about everything and knew so little going into it! Early into pregnancy I was diagnosed with hypertension and was told this would mean I would need to be induced which stressed me out so much. That's when I knew I needed to find a doula. My husband and I instantly felt Breanna's calm energy would be a great match for us from the first virtual interview we had with her. Throughout my pregnancy, she provided helpful information and was available for any sort of question. As I approached the date I would be induced, she ramped up her availability and support, which was so comforting. Once I was admitted, she was checking in and visited to set up a very lovely space with LED twinkle lights, decor, and gave me a lovely massage too. The nurses and doctors kept commenting on what a nice space I had as they would come into check on me throughout the night. I got the enjoy that relaxing ambience for as long as we could throughout labor. She was there fanning me and cheering me on and offering suggestions to my husband on how to support me. We both immensely appreciated her presence. She even helped keep my parents calm. I'm so grateful we found Breanna and would recommend her services to anyone!

Long story short…I could never see myself going through my pregnancy, labor, or delivery without the help of Breana. She offers a holistic and educational perspective from start to finish. The way she was able to support me and my spouse during this entire process was phenomenal! The support we received during labor was top tier. I HIGHLY recommend her as your future doula!

finding a doula that we trusted with the birth of our son was a daunting task but after just one meeting with Breana, it was evident how passionate she is about the work she does. having Breana be a part of our birth experience was such a treat - she is a wonderful advocate, a steadfast pillar of support, and an overall joy to be around. we felt so comfortable during each and every meeting with her and when it came time to bring our son into the world, it was as if she were family!! if you are looking for a doula - Breana should be at the top of your list!!

Breana is awesome!

We interviewed a few doulas and Breana stood out. Our goal was to find someone who would support us emotionally, mentally, and physically as well as give us practical advice. We trusted our nurses and doctors and I wasn't aiming for an unmedicated birth, but didn't want to feel forced to take unnecessary actions. During labor, not only did Breana provide support and a calming environment, but also kept us company with good conversation.

I do want to mention that I did eventually end up getting a c-section; it wasn't an emergency but I wasn't progressing so it was up to me. We really relied on Breana to help assess whether it was a good idea or not, and it ultimately ended up being the best decision. I hope this helps illustrate that Breana is not solely focused on delivery only one way; she really does look at each situation critically so that you and baby are safe. She was an amazing, supportive advocate for the three of us.

Breana provided lots of support pre-birth, with reading materials, and patiently answered all of our questions during our sessions. She is also responsive to texts even after birth which was great since, as a first time mom, I wasn't prepared for how I would feel during recovery, breastfeeding, etc.

Highly recommend Breana!

First off I’ll start by saying Breana is amazing. She quickly became our trusted guide. Our pregnancy was anything but normal and having someone available to explain things and also just calm our fears was invaluable.

In the beginning I was under the impression that a Doula would basically be supporting my wife, but Breana did that and so much more.

Suggesting ways to help me be a supportive partner, educating me on the birthing process and how to advocate for us, organizing meals for us during our lengthy hospital stay, keeping me calm pre-op, all the way to advice on dealing with the complex realities surrounding a NICU stay- I could not imagine going through our pregnancy without her. She adapted to our tough situation and was with us every step of the way.

Being a good partner during pregnancy can be difficult and having the extra support really makes all the difference.

Breana is nothing short of well educated and passionate in her area of expertise. I was hesitant to hire a doula because of financial reasons but when an unnecessary induction was suggested for myself and my baby I went to work and researched doulas in the area. Breana responded quickly to my inquiry and answered all of my questions with honesty. Breana provided me with multiple resources on the subject for the suggested induction (IUGR) such as: podcast links, studies, and additional websites. After our initial phone call we met in person where we went over additional education for birth as well as our expectations from her. We also made a birth plan to provide the hospital on game day.

Up until game day, I texted Breana with questions which were answered quickly with additional resources. And when the contractions started she was there in minutes and followed us to the hospital.

Breana had delivered at my birthing place before (Kaiser, Irvine) which provided me with relief. While settling into the birth suite Breana made the room calming and feel more like a home rather than a hospital room. Throughout labor she provided my husband and me support.

I would hire Breana again and again as she gave me so much confidence in my decision of trusting my gut and questioning the unnecessary induction. Also did placenta encapsulation with her and feeling great postpartum!

Words can do no justice to explain the positive impact Breana has had on my pregnancy and post partum journey. I struggle with intense anxiety and knew I needed someone that I could trust and feel safe enough to support me through this journey. Breana has a calm demeanor, and it was just what I needed during my third trimester. She is also full of knowledge and her expertise is all backed up by research. She was available via text or phone call when I was struggling with anxiety and all the “what ifs” pregnancy comes with. And although my labor and delivery brought on some unexpected bumps along the way, I felt confident that I had doula that would advocate for me when needed. I’m not the most holistic person, and she respected my decisions and allowed me to make choices I felt most comfortable with. She also has wonderful connections and was able to connect me to other services following my delivery. THANK YOU. I am truly grateful that you were a part of my journey.

We are so happy Breana was part of the birth of our son earlier this month.

My partner and I were originally on the fence about whether we "needed" a doula but after meeting Breana during her in-home childbirth class decided we wanted her knowledge, support, humor and warmth to help us navigate pregnancy and a hospital birth.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, with a long fertility journey, we felt heard and seen by Breana leading up to, and during, our birth. She was by our side, offering comfort, calm and a wealth of knowledge as we navigated an unplanned induction and c-section.

Like others have said, she brings all kinds of amazing goodies to make your hospital room feel like home, and our labor and delivery nurses kept commenting on how great our room looked and felt.

If you're looking for a doula to help you navigate one of life's biggest moments, we highly recommend inviting Breana on your journey.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Breana. From the moment we met, it was clear that I had made a wonderful choice for my birthing journey. Breana was amazing, providing unwavering support every step of the way.

Her ability to turn the hospital room into a warm and welcoming space made a world of difference. The atmosphere she created helped me feel more relaxed and at ease during such an important and intense moment.

One of the things that truly stood out was her intuition. Breana knew precisely when to step in and offer guidance and when to step aside, allowing me to trust my instincts and embrace the birthing process. This balance was invaluable, making me feel empowered and in control of my experience.

She was there, checking in before and after the birth, providing emotional and physical support, and offering a wealth of knowledge and guidance.

I can't recommend her enough to anyone seeking a doula who truly cares and goes above and beyond.

Thank you, Breana, for being a remarkable part of my birth story. You made all the difference.

Breanna was an absolute rockstar for us! She provided us with a deep sense of security, loads of knowledge, and an abundance of genuine care throughout our entire journey. When we embarked on our quest to find the perfect doula, we were on the lookout for someone who not only had our backs but also truly understood and championed us as people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community as we navigated the often confusing world of conventional medical care. Well, Breanna didn't just meet those expectations—she exceeded them in every possible way, and she even became a cherished part of our family.

Our birth plan was all about aiming for the most natural experience possible within a medical setting, and Breanna was like our trusted GPS guiding us toward making that dream a reality. And let's be real, childbirth rarely goes exactly as planned, right? But with Breanna, we were kept in the loop every step of the way, which made all the difference.

Now, here's a little fun fact we can't help but share: Breanna comes equipped with this magical Mary Poppins-style bag that seems to have EVERYTHING you could ever need. Seriously, it's like she's got a secret stash of supplies for every situation. But that's not even the best part—she's not just a walking toolbox; she's a warm, funny, and compassionate presence. We laughed with her, cried with her, and basically went through all the feels together, all while she maintained the utmost professionalism.

There were times when we felt scared or overwhelmed, and like a superhero, Breanna swooped in with her problem-solving skills and defused those situations like a pro. It's honestly hard to put into words the incredible impact she had on our journey. She's a true embodiment of passion, care, humor, and comfort.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Breanna by our side, and we're excited to know that this connection will last a lifetime. Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of an AMAZING doula experience.

With all our love,
Tif & Heather
