About Me Hi, I’m Alyssa, and I founded Sonoran Sunrise Newborn Care in 2024 to help families thrive in the weeks after their baby is born. I have been working with children in their homes since 2016, including those with complex behavioral and medical needs, and since 2022 I’ve specialized in caring for infants and toddlers. In 2024 I completed trainings with Newborn Care Solutions and Newborn IQ, and I’m also proud to hold advanced certification from the US Nanny Institute, earned in 2021. I’m continually expanding my education and experience so that I can provide the best care possible. My focus is on coaching parents in newborn care and helping babies establish healthy sleep. I am there to help guide parents and help them feel confident, as well as to support them through overnights so that they can be well-rested.
Alyssa came into my life when I was suffering from severe PPA/PPD. My infant daughter had an incredibly hard first few months of life -- from tongue ties, to reflux, a formula shortage and eventually a feeding aversion. Alyssa was always so patient and gentle with her, on top of being a comforting presence to me as well. She was extremely resourceful and educated in guiding me to make informed decisions about my daughter's health and care. Alyssa is nurturing, soft and extremely detail-oriented. My daughter required quite a bit of specific care, including oral exercises, various medications, etc. She was always diligent and handled my daughter with as much love/delicacy as I would. I truly believe that she not only cared for my daughter, but me as well. As a FTM, I was extremely anxious and uninformed. She never made me feel judged and would go above and beyond if I ever had any specific requests or questions. I extended with Alyssa as much as I possibly could, but unfortunately have to move out of state. Any family who has the opportunity to work with her is insurmountably lucky.

I am Certified and able to accept CARROT CLIENTS! I am a Postpartum Doula and INA Credentialed Newborn Care Specialist, specializing in Postpartum Nutrition and Perinatal Mental Health. I have over ten years of experience serving families in a direct, private setting. I provide non-judgmental emotional and physical support and evidence-based information and education, with a whole-family care approach. I have created a team of Newborn Care Specialists, Birth Doula’s, Postpartum Doula's, and CNA's that have expertise in infant development, breastfeeding, mental health, and postpartum nutrition. Collectively, we are able to provide whole-family support through the transformative postpartum period.
When we hired Bryn on as a newborn care specialist, we had interviewed many other potential candidates. Many other candidates seemed more interested in how they thought things should be rather than working with us and incorporating our perspectives or preferences. Bryn was open, helpful and ready to offer advice as well as research things that we had questions on. Her top priority was always our daughter's health and wellbeing. She helped us transition from bassinet to crib perfectly. She was able to get us on a sleep schedule with the baby and adapt when a situation presented itself. We could say many more wonderful things, but I will end this by saying that she was an amazing help to our family. Our daughter is doing so well, even as we went into the 4 month sleep regression. I have no doubts that it is because of the foundation that was laid down in those first 3 months.

I'm Teresa Estilow, an inclusive postpartum doula and Dare to Birth childbirth educator supporting the Phoenix and East Valley areas. As a parent who experienced my own challenges with my postpartum journeys, I was inspired to provide access to compassionate and empathetic support to new and again parent's in their 4th-trimester journeys.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support I received from Teresa during my postpartum journey. From the moment she entered our home, it was clear that her presence would be transformative for both me and my son. Teresa has a remarkable ability to listen and attune herself to the needs of new parents. She not only provided practical help but also offered emotional support that made a world of difference during a challenging time. Her insights were spot on; she picked up on things I didn’t even know I needed. Whether it was tips on baby care, advice on self-care, or just a comforting presence to talk to, she was always there, ready to help. What truly set Teresa apart was her intuition and understanding. She became an integral part of our family, fostering a sense of calm and reassurance. Her warm demeanor and genuine care made the transition into motherhood so much smoother. I wholeheartedly recommend Teresa to any new parent. She brings not only knowledge and experience but also a nurturing spirit that truly enriches the postpartum experience. Thank you for everything—you have made a lasting impact on our family!

Hi, I'm Janelle Moore, labor and postpartum doula serving families east and west valley. I entered the world of birthwork early 2023 as a loved one of mine stepped into her motherhood journey. She entered strong, encouraged, prepared, and yet looking for support, a listening ear, advocacy, and someone to lean on in that process. Something inside her knew what I think every mom knows, that every couple deserves support, every couple deserves an advocate, and every couple deserves evidence based education surrounding their options and each decision that they may anticipate to make for their birth and little one in labor and delivery. In supporting her that day a new passion sparked inside me to see every mom supported, held, strengthened and empowered as they shine bringing life into the world. That spark has grown day by day since. I am passionate about evidence based education leading up to birth that will empower parents to make fully informed decisions as are best for their family. I am passionate about supporting first-time parents as they embark on a new journey, and I am passionate that birth should be a beautifully empowering experience in which mom is supported through and through, never alone, discovering in each moment the depth of strength that she's carried all along. If you've landed on this page and would like to learn more please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to an opportunity to meet you, to chat and to hear more of your heart for your birth, little one, and/or postpartum journey.
Janelle cared for our family after the birth of our third child in December of 2024. She truly has a heart to serve and has a very calm, loving presence about her. She made sure to check in on how my baby and I were doing and happily performed any tasks we needed help with each shift. She is able to anticipate and fill needs without even being asked as well. Janelle is also wonderful with older children so she would be a great choice if sibling care is something you are looking for. Our kids still talk about how much fun they had with Miss Nelle and ask about her months later! She was a huge blessing to our family in the postpartum season and I would highly recommend her.

Welcome to Grow in Grace Doula Care! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a wife, new boy mom, and pediatric registered nurse based in Queen Creek, Arizona. With three years of pediatric nursing experience, I have always had a special love for taking care of little ones. My true passion lies in supporting new moms and babies, which is why I fell in love with postpartum doula care after the birth of my son. Having been supported by both labor and postpartum doulas during my birth and recovery, I can honestly say my experience would have been vastly different without their care. I believe birth and postpartum are natural and beautiful events in which every woman should feel empowered and protected. That's why my goal is to provide loving, non-judgmental care to all expecting parents, helping them experience the grace and joy that comes with their new baby! At home, I enjoy a full and joyful life with my husband, son, two dogs, and our rabbit. Outside of my doula work, my perfect day includes reading my Bible while sipping on an iced coffee or matcha, spending time outside in the sun and grass, hanging out with my family, and podcasting!
Karly was such a valuable resource in the postpartum period. I got the opportunity to work with her when my little one was 2 months old and she helped me with feeding concerns, practicing our physical therapy exercises for my little one’s torticolis, and household chores! She was also a great listener and very empathetic when I told her about my complications after birth and how they had affected my mental health. She is such a sweet and knowledgeable person. I would recommend all pregnant mamas, experienced or not, utilizing Karly for postpartum care.

My journey Fascinated with birth work from a young age Watched nature shows about reproduction and birth growing up Supported a close friend through medical abortion Exceptional veterinary technician- medical, hospital, euthanasia/death experience Passionate about being involved in friends' pregnancies and growing families 2022 Closest friend had a stillborn that changed my life Went on long term disability, 2023 quit corporate job, went on a self-healing journey Decided to explore this career path
Our family wanted to express our appreciation for the love you showed Rizzo the first time we brought her in, on the phone with me talking about her terminal cancer, and finally when we had to say goodbye. You gave her scratches and kisses, said nice things to her. Our family really felt your genuine love, and that is important. Please don't ever change. It means more than you know. The whole staff was great, but you stood out. Again, somehow you helped us go through the process of losing our young baby Rizzo, the Aire-doodle.

Hi there friend, I’m Amanda - a birth doula who finds deep joy in walking alongside mamas during labor and birth. I believe this work is sacred, God- given and I feel called to support women with calm, care, and prayerful presence. It’s an honor to hold space during such a powerful and beautiful time in your life.
If you’re reading this review, it means you’ve stumbled upon Amanda Bowen during your doula search, and how blessed you are to have found her. I feel so lucky to be able to say my birth experience was perfect and a time I feel so proud of. Though ultimately I thank God for orchestrating such a euphoric experience, the next thank you I have to give is to Amanda. During my pregnancy and through postpartum, Amanda helped me learn and prepare and ultimately conquer the birth of my baby girl. She is truly a resource of so much knowledge and is always eager and excited to share it. Amanda has a servants heart and the most comforting presence. The perfect combo to guide you through pregnancy, childbirth, and the weeks that follow. I know there was no doubt I was going to have a great birth story no matter how things went, but I don’t think it would have been as truly amazing as it was if it weren’t for Amanda’s guidance and calm, encouraging presence in the delivery room. My husband felt his confidence grow during our prenatal meetings and even more so during birth as she gracefully instructed and encouraged him to be the best birth partner he could be. If you are looking for the best doula for your birth, I promise you, Amanda is the right choice!

I am passionate in assisting women as a doula and placenta encapsulation preparer. Birth work is sacred and my role is to empower women, to help them feel safe, seen, and understood. Each birth is unique and the birth experience is an expression of that uniqueness.
Eliza has been my doula for my 3 children and she will be my doula for my current pregnancy as well. I keep her on with every baby because she really empowers me through love and guidance and emphasizes my strength and capabilities of bringing my babies into this world! She is a very caring and nurturing soul who makes you feel very entrusted in her care.

Hello! My name is Jeannie. I am a pediatric sleep consultant and postpartum doula in the East Valley of Phoenix. I am a mom of four and all of my kids are middle school or older. My desire is to quietly and gently come alongside parents as you welcome your newborn into your families. I can provide emotional support to assist with the transitions of the postpartum period and having a new baby. Encouragement, a listening ear and practical help in your home will be offered. I’ll hold your baby so that you can bathe and/or rest, be a safe person you can share your concerns with and offer informational support - all in a judgment-free loving manner. A comforting meal, changing your sheets and doing some laundry are a few of the ways I can help you. My hope is that the care I give feels much like a professional grandma or Loli.
Did we hire the real Mary Poppins? It sure felt that way when Lori came to help after our daughter was born. Lori was so kind and considerate and knowledgeable that we had no trouble at all trusting her to take care of our little one in these sleep-deprived early days. Not only did Lori make sure I got the sleep I needed, she also gave us advice and assistance with any questions we had about best practices and ways to soothe our baby when she was having some feeding issues. Lori also cooked and cleaned and organized like magic every day she was here. It helped tremendously to have hot meals to eat and leftovers to heat up when I needed that kind of support. The biggest downside is that once she's there, you'll never want her to leave! I couldn't recommend Lori enough for anyone who needs help with their baby.

As a massage therapist for the past ten years, I have always been in awe of the innate power of the human body. When I became pregnant in 2018, that feeling only intensified. Through birth we are put to the test; physically, mentally and emotionally... but it so worth it when you get to see that tiny human you created for the first time. It was my experience through pregnancy and the birth of my son, Simon Asher, that called me to this work. I am honored to be a Bebo Mia trained birth doula as well as a licensed massage therapist specializing in pregnancy and postpartum massage. I believe that every journey to parenthood should be filled with love, support and of course, happiness. I am proud to serve any pregnant person (and their partners), located in the greater Phoenix area, through that journey in a capacity that educates, informs, supports and above all holds space for you to safely transition into your coolest role yet, a parent.
