Hi, my name is Alexia and I am a birth doula. First, I’d like to say congratulations! This is such a beautiful journey you are starting. I have been doing childcare for about 8 years. I previously worked as a lead teacher in infant/toddler classrooms. Once I decided it was time for change, I became a daycare director. During that time, I found my love for being a support system for the parents and families. I am currently in nursing school, hoping to become a midwife. I also work as a nanny. I absolutely love what I do, and I hope you choose me to embark on this journey with you. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
Lexi is attentive, patient, kind, and empathetic. She will truly listen and take your goals and concerns into consideration. She advocates and supports you in any way she can and has always been professional while sharing all of the knowledge she has regarding pregnancy, postpartum, and all things newborns and infants. Her calm demeanor makes her a natural caregiver as a doula and a nanny. We are so lucky to have found Lexi!

I’ve spent over a decade as a labor and delivery nurse inside hospital walls—standing beside women as monitors beeped, doctors rushed, and plans changed in an instant. But the moments that stuck with me weren’t just the medical ones. They were the moments when a woman felt completely alone—even with a room full of people. When she nodded through the doctor’s explanation but cried later because she didn’t understand what any of it meant for her and her baby. When she whispered, “I just want to enjoy this… but I don’t even know how anymore.” That’s why I created Hakuna Matata Mamas. To offer the kind of support I knew was missing: the kind that holds your hand through the hard, teaches you how to cope with the unknown, and reminds you that you still get to have a story you’re proud to share. I work with high-risk mamas who feel like the rug’s been pulled out from under them—who are doing their best to stay strong, but secretly just want someone to see behind the brave face. Through personalized hospital prep, nervous system tools, and real, compassionate guidance, I help you feel courageous and connected—so when the big day comes, it’s not just something you “get through.” It’s the best day of your life. Even if it didn’t go according to plan. Because how you feel during your birth matters. And you deserve to feel safe, supported, and sure of yourself—every step of the way.
Cassandra was our doula for the pregnancy and birth of our baby girl. We met in person first and then did the rest of the meetings remote. She was flexible, understanding and very knowledgeable. We learned so much from her, and she help me arrive that day feeling empowered, confident and ready. Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned (I ended up having an emergency c section), the preparation I did with her help me be strong with the unexpected turn of events and realize I did everything I could to have a natural birth. And now I’m recovering extremely fast and smoothly. Im having a great start with baby, including breast feeding, and I think it’s all due to what we did and learned from her during pregnancy.

I was skeptical about getting a doula, my husband kept reassuring me that having a doula was the best thing, I agreed. Mrs. Williams was perfect, she was very attentive, knowledgeable, and understanding. She spoke with the doctors and nurses with such grace and respect. Having her with me through my journey was well worth it and fulfilling. I'll recommend her to anyone, next baby, I will definitely be reaching out to her again. Thank you Mrs. Williams you shined a light on my family.

I am a Mom of 4 adult children and a Mema to 4 beautiful grandchildren. I have been a RN in Labor & Delivery, NBN, Postpartum, Antepartum and Lactation for over 30 years. I am also a certified labor and postpartum doula through CAPPA since 2021. I began my business, Mema D's Doula Services in March 2021, serving expectant and new parents throughout Central Wisconsin. I strive to educate and empower couples in anticipation of the birth experience they desire. Besides my doula certification, I am also a Lamaze certified Childbirth Educator and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I wouldn’t go through birth without her! Robin brings a multitude of experience as a nurse, mother, lactation specialist and grandmother. I love how she brought her experience as a OB nurse to help navigate a complex system that doesn’t always want what we may want. She fits in like a good old friend. Whether educating or advocating, she made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable and well cared for.

As a certified doula of color with extensive training in lactation support, birth, postpartum care, and infant feeding (including baby-led weaning), I am deeply committed to providing safe and empowering care for women and all birthing individuals. Recognizing the historical disparities in modern medicine for women of color, my practice centers on ensuring you, your baby, and your family feel secure and well-supported throughout your prenatal, birthing, and postpartum journey. I reside in the Milwaukee area but am willing to travel within the state of Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
After having two traumatic birth experiences caused by negligent doctors I decided for my third and final pregnancy that I would take a leap of faith and go with a doula to advocate for me and make sure my final birth experience would be on MY terms. With the help of Brianna and my midwife team, I had an extremely peaceful and empowering unmedicated birth experience with no interventions from any doctor. I had complete and total faith and trust in Brianna to make decisions that I would make after extensive conversations and consultations about what my ideal birth experience would look like. Brianna took all of my stress and worry away and I was able to 100% focus on the flows of active labor and she supported me through it 100%. And she not only supported me through birth, but the days that followed. I wish I had gone this route with my previous two but how lucky am I that I got to have this experience the third time around.

I’m a Christian wife, mother, and RN who discovered a passion for birth work after having my own babies. I have been a birth doula since 2022 and a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) since 2025. My midwifery practice is focused on faith and trust in the design of a woman’s and baby’s bodies to navigate the birth process. I work with my clients so that they can make informed decisions and consent. I consider myself a minimalist and love allowing the process unfold undisturbed unless absolutely necessary. As a birth doula, I have the most experience in attending unmedicated labors and do love to work with women who have this goal. However, I do still attend medicated births, planned or unplanned. I help my clients experience true informed consent so that they are empowered in their birth choices. In the labor room, I amplify their voice. I’m honored to witness every family’s birth that I have a chance to work with!

Monona, Wisconsin
I’m Connie Lambeth, a Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Midwife. My love of birth started as a preschooler — when my mother asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up — I knew I wanted to catch babies. I had the ability to receive midwifery care during both of my pregnancies and births, and postpartum experiences. Directly benefitting from midwifery care lit the fire in my life of what is possible for individualized holistic healthcare. I’ve been professionally involved in birthwork since 2015, first as a certified doula and Hypnobirthing childbirth educator, and now as a midwife. I earned my midwifery degree from the National College of Midwifery based out of Taos, NM, and studied my hands-on learning over an intensive two years. I had the honor of apprenticing with two home birth midwives in the Madison area, and at a high volume out-of-hospital birth center in Milwaukee under the guidance of five midwives and one physician. Before becoming a midwife, I was a teacher (I’ve taught early childhood to adult learners, from Public to Montessori), with a Master’s Degree in Educational Research. As a lifelong learner and experiential educator, I see pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting as life’s greatest experiential lessons. Although I don’t teach in a classroom anymore, I use my background as a teacher, educator, and researcher to help families to make informed choices and feel supported while they grow. I’m committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in my practice of culturally competent and comprehensive midwifery care. I value each individual navigating their childbearing year tremendously and strive to do everything I can do to support them in reaching their goals. Helping individuals and their families during one of the most influential transitions of their lives speaks to my values and most natural skill set: compassion, empathy, and openness.
