About me

Hi my name is Virginia! I am a trained Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Newborn Care Specialist. I have been working with families for the last 6 years supporting home birth, hospital birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding peer support, and sleep shaping for newborns. As a birth doula my goal is to ensure your birth journey is supported, heard, and that you are cared for during your transition to a new family. I have been honored to support 39 birth clients and counting. As a postpartum doula and night nanny I am here to provide the parents with newborn care education, breasteeding/feeding support, and simply sleep so you can have a clear head during the day.

Service introduction

I offer Birth Doula support along with a Partner Doula to ensure you know both of us deeply and so we can honor your space. This includes prenatal visits, labor support in the hospital or home birth settings, and initial postpartum support. As a Night Nanny I provide overnight care which includes full sleep for parents, breastfeeding and pumping support, light housework, and additional postpartum care services.

Birth Doula Labor Only Package

This is ideal for someone who wants a doula but primarily for birth support without the need of additional educational services. Includes 1 virtual prenatal session to establish birth plan, when to call your doula, and answer additional questions. 24/7 on-call labor support. 1 optional postpartum 30 minute in person appointment to help with breastfeeding complications. Additional postpartum support upon request.

Comprehensive Birth Doula Package

This is ideal for a first-time pregnancy, a first-time home birth client, or a family wanting a more comprehensive birth education and support. This includes 2 prenatal in-person appointments, 24/7 on-call labor support, 1 postpartum support and additional breastfeeding support upon request.

Overnight Care Package

This is ideal for parents looking to get sleep and start their day fresh. This includes overnight care support for the newborn, newborn education, breastfeeding support, pumping support, formula feeding support, bottle/pump part cleaning, light laundry, light cleaning in the kitchen or other space upon request. Primary goal is to ensure newborn is cared for though out the night so parents can get the best sleep possible. Price is starting hourly rate. Travel fee of $25 per night if over 45 minutes outside of service area (Venice) and service fee of $100 to $250 per week if more than 3 nights per week.

Do you offer any discounted services?

YES! Since I currently do not accept insurance I offer a discounted rate for Overnight Care Packages and I am happy to waive fees for clients on Medicaid or have a financial hardship. Please reach out to request more information.
