Hi! I am Richelle Jolley and I have been assisting childbirth in the home as a Certified Professional Midwife for 21 years. With two decades of wonderful experiences welcoming babies into this world, I have developed specialties in twin pregnancy and birth, and in breech delivery. It is my joy to support each woman on her unique journey into motherhood. Pregnancy and childbirth are beautiful, divinely-designed processes that take a woman through a journey of searching, discovery, expansion and empowerment, culminating in the expression of all that she has now become as a mother. My sincere desire is to assist families in creating a beautiful, peaceful, faith-enhancing, and enriching birth for themselves and their babies.
She was very kind and patient. Answered all of my questions thoroughly and was patient even when I'd ask the same question over and over again. She worked with me and my fears and made the experience not as scary as I was thinking it would be. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting an at home birth. I'm gonna use her again if I get pregnant again. She even was able to draw my blood sample with minimal pain, unlike the doctor's office that drew my first samples. She made me feel safe and in control of how I wanted to have my birthing experience be. It was thoroughly wonderful and an enjoyable experience.

I believe women should have all the support they want and need at every birth. I truly feel I have been called to do birth work. I want to help women find their power so they can have the best chance at the birth they desire. I became a birth doula because I believe in the innate primal ability of women to do precisely what our bodies were designed to do, grow and birth babies. I became a doula because I want women to know they can in a world were we are constantly told we can’t. Our society has become obsessed with “problem solving” that we treat birth as if it is a problem to be “fixed” when in many cases, if left perfectly alone, women would have no problem at all. I completely understand necessary intervention for legitimate concerns or complications. There is certainly a time and place. However, my ultimate goal is to help women through birth with as little intervention as possible, with as much knowledge as possible and with full informed consent to any intervention presented. If you want to have natural, intervention free birth, will take the time to educate yourself & truly prepare for birth—you are giving yourself & your baby the best chance at experiencing the birth you were designed to have!
My experience with Emily from Blissful Embrace Doula was nothing short of amazing. I had had my previous four births in a hospital setting but decided to go another route with my fifth pregnancy. It was all extremely new to me, but I knew that if I wanted the best chance at achieving a natural, out-of-hospital birth, I would need someone in my support group to help me along the way. Emily is very knowledgeable about all things pertaining to women’s reproductive health, as well as women’s overall health. She was able to recommend a midwife/birthing center nearby, several books, websites, Instagram accounts, etc. to help me gain the knowledge and confidence I would need throughout the pregnancy and birth. No question or concern was off limits and she was always available to reach through text or call. When it came time for my labor and delivery, just seeing Emily’s face at the birthing center reminded me all that I had learned over the previous months and I was able to remain focused and calm. The birth was peaceful, although quick! I never thought of my previous births as being “bad” or “traumatic”, but after this experience, I’d go back and have all my births naturally, outside of the “traditional” hospital setting. My physical healing, as well as mental/emotional healing, were a night and day difference. I have no doubt it was due to the research and resources that surrounded me along the way. My eyes have been opened so much to what women are truly capable of and I love continuing to learn about births of all kinds. Emily was an invaluable doula and support person to have in our corner and she’d be a great asset to anyone else in their pregnancy/birth journey. She cares about her clients and their families so much. You won’t go wrong choosing Blissful Embrace Doula services.

Hello! I'm Kaytalyn Winston, Doula of The Mothering Co. I would love to support your Motherhood Journey. At The Mothering Co. we believe that every mother deserves to feel fully supported during each season and that each season needs to be fully honored. We desire to partner with women as a guide in this sacred journey into motherhood by empowering them to trust how their bodies were created, to use their voice, trust their intuition and wisdom, and through holistic education. Motherhood is challenging and beautiful work, and we are here to support and honor you every step of the way.
My husband and I were lucky enough to have Kaytalyn as our doula. It was our first child and although we did a lot of prep work for our delivery, we also really had no idea how it was going to go. Thankfully we had Kaytalyn’s experience to help guide us through our daughter’s delivery. Her grounding, calm, and supportive presence helped guide both of us. Her voice was so strong and steady, which helped me through each step of delivery. She was truly such a delight and we couldn’t possibly think of anyone else being about of our birth story.

Being involved in birth work has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Social work where I found joy in listening, and empowering people. Soon after graduating I gave birth to my first daughter and it reignited my passion for birth and desire to want all mamas to have a positive experience during childbirth. I completed my doula training with songbird maternity learning skills to support mothers such as breathing exercises, optimal positions for labor and pushing, massage and more. I am excited to help you learn more about the beauty of childbirth and feel empowered and amazed at what your mind, body, and baby can do when they all work together!
Charlee was absolutely phenomenal, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with her by my side. From start to finish, she exuded kindness, positivity, and an incredibly calming presence that was exactly what I needed during my unmedicated birth. Charlee’s unwavering support extended not only to me but seamlessly integrated with my entire support team, creating an atmosphere of unity and encouragement. Her expertise shined as she offered a variety of tools and techniques that proved invaluable during labor and delivery. But what truly stood out was her constant reminder to trust my body and intuition. Those words of reassurance became my anchor, helping me stay grounded and empowered through every contraction and every step of the process. Charlee is more than a doula—she’s a game-changer in birth support. I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re considering hiring her, don’t hesitate—she is simply the best!

Hi! We're Savanah and Sheryl, the Neighborhood Midwives. We've been working together in the birth world for the past four years and recently chose to focus exclusively on home birth. This shift allows us to slow down, be more present with the families we serve, and find a better balance in our own lives too. We believe true health starts from within. Our approach blends lifestyle support, movement, and herbal medicine—while also embracing modern medicine when it’s needed. If you're hoping for a calm, familiar, and intimate experience during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, we’d love to connect and answer any questions you have.
I had Savanah and Sheryl as my midwives for my first birth - I approached my pregnancy and delivery in a holistic way and they were both so helpful, their bedside manner was truly exceptional and so thoughtful every appointment, and most of all - they were truly THERE for me during my delivery. It was a long labor and they brought me such a sense of peace every time they walked in the room. They both had a way of meeting me where I was at with every question and emotion that came up. I always felt respected and genuinely cared for with both of them - never as an inconvenience, they never made me feel small with my questions or lack of experience. They gave me great lactation support and resources for breastfeeding as well, which was HUGE for me. I can’t wait to work with them again in the future.

I’m a mom to two rainbow babies. I did a lot of research about birth after my first birth went badly. I became a doula so I could help others have the knowledge and confidence to trust and stand up for themselves during birth. I hope to help many families experience beautiful births by helping them listen to their bodies and guiding them through birth.
Sierra was there for me in ways no one else could be. She not only supported my journey but educated and guided me. She made me feel safe and heard while taking away all the insecurities and pressures labor and hospitals can bring. Both my husband and I are very grateful to her and the help we recieved before, during, & after delivery. If we ever plan on another baby I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Sierra again.

Hi, I’m Kayla — birth mentor, labor doula, and host of A Mother Is Born. I believe birth should feel like a big deal — in the best possible way. My own experience giving birth was transformational. I felt honored, trusted, and supported throughout. It was beautiful and powerful… and also incredibly rare. Most women I know didn’t feel that way about their births — and that’s what pulled me into this work. I support women who want something more from their birth experience — whether they’re preparing for the first time or recovering from a difficult past one. I offer in-person doula support in Utah County, and virtual birth mentorship to families anywhere. I’m especially drawn to: First-time parents who see birth as a major life event — and want to plan it with care, not just "go with the flow" Experienced parents who had a birth that didn’t sit right — and want a different story this time My approach is rooted in values: self-trust, autonomy, and honoring the body’s wisdom. I don’t believe in rigid checklists or cookie-cutter plans. I focus on helping you figure out what matters most to you, and then build a plan that supports that. I’ll teach you to advocate for yourself — and I’ll step in to back you up when needed. You won’t be alone. My favorite part of this work? The women. The honest conversations. The deep relationships. Watching someone grow into motherhood with intention and power is the biggest honor of my life. A few personal things: I’m a very type-B personality. The bad? My car is always a mess. The good? I am flexible, intuitive, and empathetic. In my personal time, I love learning the names of all the local plants. It's probably an even nerdier hobby than learning about birth! I have a deep weakness for dark chocolate, and never go to bed without second dinner. I truly believe that birth can be one of the most powerful and positive experiences of your life — when you have the right support. I'm excited to meet you!
Kaila was my doula for my second baby. I had a traumatic experience with my first baby, so I really wanted someone to help me cope with my second. Kaila was exactly what I needed! She is knowledgeable, personable, and really listened to my needs. She respected all of my decisions and did everything she could to help me have the birth that I always desired. I would highly recommend Kaila to any woman looking for an incredible doula!

Hi there! I'm a birth doula and Hypnobabies instructor serving clients throughout Salt Lake and Utah counties. I caught the birth bug during my first pregnancy in 2009, and decided after my second birth in 2013 that I wanted to become a doula. I'm passionate about bodily autonomy, informed consent, prenatal education, evidence-based practices, and maternal mental health. I love supporting families during the most memorable times of their lives. I'm told I have a calming presence, and I'm passionate about supporting partners as they support you.
Molly was my Hypnobabies instructor and my doula as well for my first birth. At the beginning of the process, we were acquaintances, and now I consider her one of my closest, and most trusted friends. Her hypnotherapy sessions helped me completely get rid of fear before birth, and helped me feel so much peace. My actual delivery day was incredible, and she did everything in her power to advocate for me and do whatever possible to make me most comfortable. I am so grateful for her help, and wouldn’t want to go through the process without her next time. Molly is seriously amazing, knowledgeable, and the best doula ever!!!

Talya is a midwife, herbalist, and doula with 18 years of experience in birthwork. She is a wife and mother of 6 and is the owner of an intentionally small midwifery practice. The belief that birth is a normal physiological event and that babies are wise and know how to be born guides her practice. Talya believes when the mother is nurtured in body, mind, and spirit we see the best maternal, family, and societal outcomes. When she’s not at the feet of women giving birth or creating herbal teas and tinctures, you can find Talya in the mountains with her family or with her bare hands and feet in a patch of dirt trying to grow things. Welcome to Matriarch Midwifery!
Talya Bennion is a compassionate caregiver and experienced midwife. She assisted at two of my births and will be delivering our newest addition this summer. I’m grateful for her wealth of knowledge and wholistic approach.

Hello! I am a Certified Hypnoactive Doula with some basic skills in light touch, feet pressure points, and relaxation touch. I was trained by Lauralyn Aerin Kohl and Latissa Graham. My goal is to make sure you feel confident going into your birth and that with whatever turn your birth takes you feel like a warrior, goddess, and/or hero of your story. I am honored you are even considering putting me on your birth team. I can't wait to meet you and your partner!
Chelsea is an amazing Doula! She was with us for 20+ hours during the birth of our first son. She knew what I needed and stepped into action even when I was not able articulate what I needed through the process. She was a calming presence in the room and provided so much peace, comfort, and encouragement. She is a gift and amazing! Highly recommend Chelsea for doula services as she is truly amazing - we would have been lost through the process without her!!

Hi! I'm Morgan, I'm a newer birth doula who's committed to helping you have the most positive birth experience you could possibly have! I'm passionate about helping you advocate for yourself and being someone you can truly lean on and trust in such a chaotic but beautiful moment of your life. I'm someone to consider particularly if you have trouble speaking up for yourself with medical professionals, or maybe a difficult family member who's overstepping boundaries and you would like help. I also am LGBTQ+ friendly and affirming.
I wish I could give Morgan 10 stars. She was amazing throughout my entire experience. She helped me through my 33 hours of mostly unmedicated labor by providing foot and head massages, hip pressure, back rubs, and so much more. She also made sure the hospital staff were aware of my birth plan and advocated for me and helped me decide what was right when they suggested we deviate from it. She made labor and delivery so much better than it would have been that I will never have another baby without her.

Hello, my name is Bizza and I am a birth and postpartum doula located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am so passionate about birth and empowering birthing people with support and knowledge so they are fully equipped for whatever childbirth brings their way. My background is all things babies, from being a professional nanny to doula work, to being an Auntie to so many children. Knowledge is power and there are so many unknowns in childbirth. It is my joy and desire to equip birthing people with enough knowledge and support that when the unknowns come up, and they will, you are not blindsided. Rather, you are able to make educate, informed decisions. In my free time I enjoy reading, tending to my plants, baking, and gaming with my friends.
Bizza was our nanny for many years, helping and supporting my family beginning shortly after our first was born until our second finished kindergarten. Bizza is extremely patient, accepting, and understanding. She was integral to helping me balance full time work, medical issues (chronic migraine), and wanting to spend as much quality time with my family as possible. She has great instincts with children of all ages. She was also very attuned to my family’s parenting preferences, readily supporting ideas we wanted to try out (e.g. making a safe “yes space” for independent play). She was with us through our first’s tendency to spit up all the time, and our second’s refusal to take a bottle (he is still a picky eater…). Bizza is a rock. She is literally never sick and never runs out of steam. She embodies the quiet, supportive type of strength, where she helps you without you even realizing you’re being helped. She is also great at cooking delicious healthy foods, she follows several food blogs, and not just tidying up, but organizing. My kids adore her, she makes them feel special and loved, and we are still close to this day. I give Bizza my highest endorsement.

She has been able to connect with our children and become important to them. In working with our children she always comes with a positive and helpful attitude. Alex is professional and reliable.

Jorie is a birth + postpartum doula and loves every moment of it. She’s certified through Birth Boot Camp and has also trained as a VBAC doula to support clients having a vaginal birth after cesarean. At the young age of 15, Jorie had the privilege of attending her first nephew's birth, an experience that ignited a deep-seated passion within her for supporting families during pregnancy and beyond. Once she experienced that birth, she continued to attend the rest of her nephews + nieces births and took to being the friend or sister who sat with loved ones in their postpartum days. She is known for her warmth, patience, and intuitive ability to learn and guide people in the newness of parenthood. Whether Jorie’s clients find themselves in the midst of labor or navigating the beautiful chaos of life with a newborn, she is there to walk alongside them every step of the way. With her training and hands-on life experience, Jorie’s aim is to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment where her clients feel empowered to make decisions that resonate with their unique journey. Beyond her doula duties, you’ll often find Jorie working on her hobbies and crafts, throwing on her pottery wheel or hanging with her family. She believes in finding joy in life's simple pleasures and cherishing every moment of the journey. She is deeply honored to accompany her clients on their path to parenthood, offering unwavering support, guidance, and a sprinkle of joy & laughter along the way!
I highly recommend Jorie as a doula, both for birth and postpartum! She is SO kind and caring. During birth, she’s an expert at knowing how to advocate for you, encourage you, and what comfort measures to use. Postpartum is also so much better with extra help! Jorie is the best, so thankful for her! :)

Hi! I'm Kim, your local midwife. The story of how I came to be here in Utah, serving women through pregnancy and birth is an interesting one. My education consists of a Bachelor of Art in Sociology with an Emphasis in Ethnic Studies, a Juris Doctorate with Emphasis in Criminal Law, and Certification as a Professional Midwife. My calling has always been to serve people in a humble, practical and pragmatic way. Creating positive change in people' s lives in the most efficient way possible. Over the years, this guiding principle has taken me on many adventures through different areas of life, different communities, and around the world. I grew up the child of two Air Force parents (Lawrence Hardeman and Cynthia Wright), traveling back and forth to Japan over my early years and around the US as I got older. During my settled years, I lived in Kansas City, Missouri. Unbeknownst to me, a distant ancestor of mine was one of the first to settle that area before Missouri was even a state. Peter Hardeman Burnett, a lawyer who defended Joseph Smith while detained in the Liberty Jail, adventurer who led 1000 pioneers on the Oregon Trail, and eventually became the first governor of California. During my college years I became a mother for the first time and with the help of a fantastic nurse midwife I endured 19 hours of pitocin induction with no epidural. I was so young and naive at the time I didn't understand the true blessing she was in my life. That revelation hit me during my second birth, where a midwife wasn't available. That was the hardest pregnancy, the most life threatening delivery, and the most depressing postpartum experience of them all. I waited five years before deciding I was ready for another and this time I studied, I scoured my city for resources, and I found another amazing midwife. That birth was magical. I created an experience with the support of my midwife, my husband, my mother and mother in law that healed every traumatized part of my soul. My fourth birth was even better because I had a home birth midwife that time who helped me feel empowered and confident beyond what I had achieved in my prior pregnancies. This is when I decided that a law degree is nice, but midwifery lights my FIRE! I started my training soon after my son's birth and haven't looked back since. Beginning a career as a midwife during the height of a worldwide pandemic, when hospitals prioritized control over freedom in birth, was truly a gauntlet. Women sought out of hospital birth for the first time, fueled by fear and anxiety. I learned to meet women where they were at and move them into a space of peace, calm, and confidence in their bodies and their babies. In that space, my midwife mind was developed. I served hundreds of families in Missouri and Kansas, some families as far as 3 hours from my home because no midwife would travel to them. I gladly chose to drive hours round trip for home visits and births, because on those long drives through the Kansas plains, I was able to lay down prayers with every mile. Asking God, "Where do you want me? How do I get there? When should I go?" Like my ancestor, Peter Hardeman Burnett, the answer was "Go West, to the mountains". Full of faith, I began winding down my Kansas City practice and made plans to move to Utah. I married my spouse under the aspen trees at the foot of the mountains in Rotary Glen Park in Park City, UT and began building a life here. Now, I find myself rooted in the same valley as you all, with open arms and an open heart, ready to serve the families that are sent my way.
Kim has provided nothing but the best care throughout my entire pregnancy and after for my little boy and I! I have felt honored and valued- nothing less! She is markedly professional, yet empathic and open with personal anecdotes when asked. While passionately supportive of your goals and values, she openly explains the full spectrum of each topic to empower your best decisions- ultimately respectful and supportive of your final decision. I love how Kim is so knowledgable about natural ways to address comfort/concerns and willing to try these before moving onto medical interventions. I was continually impressed by her ability to recommend several natural remedies to try when I mentioned anything under the sun! Not only that, but why they work and their benefits/risks. Her philosophy and passion about midwifery is evident. Im so grateful for her role in my natural childbirth and hope to have her again for a homebirth with our next child! Thank you ♡

Passion for helping others has been ingrained in me for as long as I can recall. Creating a secure space where individuals can embrace vulnerability and find unwavering support is a facet of my character that brings me immense pride. No one should feel alone; it has always been my inclination to extend beyond expectations, offering a comforting presence to loved ones and patients navigating moments of solitude and unease during transitions in hospitals. To me, being your Doula is not just providing you counter pressure and support. It’s about creating that positive birth space for you, where you can completely surrender and lay trust into your surroundings! Where you can be fully present with yourself and your baby as they transition from being a part of you on the inside and into one of their own in your arms on the outside. This is your story that I, as your doula, am honored to be a part of. You are in control of your birth space and who is in it! For each of my birth clients, I craft personally written affirmation cards and offer assistance in materializing your dream birth space. Post-birth, as the fourth trimester unfolds, I step into a role of unique support. This chapter, where families acquaint themselves with quirks and routines, is as distinctive as each individual. As a postpartum doula, I provide physical and mental support—whether it’s lactation guidance, rest, household chores, meal prepping, or engaging in profound conversations about life. In moments of exhaustion and when things seem askew, always remember: You are enough! Beyond my doula work, I engage with clients through informative calls, providing education on a spectrum of topics ranging from childbirth and parenting to Montessori principles. When I’m not immersed in these enlightening conversations, my off-hours are a dynamic blend of creativity and rejuvenation. To stay grounded and invigorated, I venture outdoors, whether it’s through the exhilarating experience of cold plunging or the serenity of a hike in nature.
Madison was crucial in my positive postpartum experience. As our postpartum doula, she helped me, a first time mom, navigate the new realm of caring for my exhausted body while learning about and caring for my newborn. I couldn’t imagine anyone else in my little bubble with me. She had so much expertise and really had a way with my baby. She encouraged confidence in me and allowed for much needed rest whenever I needed it. I can’t recommend her enough. I’d hire her over and over again.

Hi everyone, for those who are new and don’t know who I am my name is Tawnie and I am a mother of three handsome boys and a wife to an amazing husband going on 13 years. I am a Dona trained birth doula here in the Utah county area. I am accepting new beautiful mamas and would love to meet you. Here is just a few things about me . I am a firm believer in Jesus and I follow where I am being lead. I care deeply with those I come across I don’t believe in coincidences I truly believe we are meant to have a relationship or a connection in some way. Our paths cross with a significant meaning . I love with my whole heart and wear my heart on my sleeve (as most people say). I’ve always had desire for Labor and delivery but to the extent of why and when. The moments to when a friend of mine was delivering her beautiful son , I was there nurturing her, and the little moment of patting her head with a cool cloth was it. It was my moment of emotional connection with women during the most beautiful transition of their story. I have gone through pain of grief in my life that truly has taken me deeper into a true relationship with God and myself. I feel pain when words can not be expressed, I feel love and joy when the words are so exciting nothing can come out. I feel the anxious feeling of the unknown when written in silence. I can’t explain the truth behind it but I know it’s all because God is always working and is calling us to be there for one another. We are not ever meant to do this world alone. We all have stories being written and to be told. I would love to sit along side of you with a helping hand to honor you and nurture you with love and compassion. Let’s meet for a minute if you would like to know more. Message me for any questions or concerns I will love to hear from you
