About me

Hi! I’m Trisha, a postpartum doula with a big heart for babies and the people who bring them into this world. I’ve spent over 15 years caring for little ones and supporting new families, and I truly believe that no one should have to walk this journey alone. Those early days (and nights!) with a newborn can be beautiful, overwhelming, and everything in between. I’m here to be a calm and steady presence, someone who shows up with open arms, a listening ear, and a helping hand. Through Melodies in Bloom Doula Services, I offer both daytime and overnight support. Whether you need extra rest, help with newborn care, or just someone to talk to during a 3 a.m. feeding, I’ve got you. My goal is to support you in a way that feels natural and empowering, like having a good friend who happens to know a lot about babies! You’ve got this… and I’ve got you.

Service introduction

As a postpartum doula, I offer both daytime and overnight support to help you feel more rested, confident, and cared for in this deeply personal season of life. My care goes beyond just baby snuggles (though there will be plenty of those!). I’m here to support you in every way. To help you heal physically, emotionally, and mentally as you adjust to this new chapter. Whether it’s holding space for your birth story, offering a moment of quiet so you can breathe, or reminding you that you’re doing an amazing job, my goal is to show up with warmth, understanding, and no judgment. During daytime visits, I can help with newborn care, feeding support (bottle or breastfeeding), light housework, education, running light errands and anything else that brings ease to your day. Overnight care gives you the chance to rest while I handle feedings, diaper changes, and soothing so you can recharge. Every family is different, so I tailor my support to fit your rhythms and needs, always with your healing and well-being at the center of it all.

Packages

During the day, I’m there to care for both you and your baby, so you can breathe, heal, and feel supported. Every family’s needs are different, but daytime care can include: - Hands-on newborn care: feeding, diapering, soothing, and bath time - Caring for your baby so you can rest, shower, or take time for yourself - Feeding support (chestfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping help) - Emotional support, a listening ear, and gentle check-ins—for your physical recovery and for the whole family’s well-being - Light tidying of baby spaces, baby laundry, and dishes - Setting up snack and hydration stations - Educating and encouraging parents and partners - Helping establish a rhythm that works for your new normal - Running light errands or accompanying you to appointments as needed My goal is to bring peace, practical help, and encouragement into your space. I aim to leave your home and your heart, a little lighter than I found it.

Overnight Support
Overnight care is all about rest, for you and your baby. I’m there to gently support your family through the night so you can wake up feeling more human, more rested, and less alone. Every family’s needs are different, but overnight care can include: - Responding to your baby’s wake ups: feeding, diapering, soothing, and settling them back to sleep - Bringing your baby to you for feeds (if nursing) and offering quiet companionship and support - Bottle feeding and handling pumping-related needs (including washing bottles and pump parts) - Keeping a log of feedings, sleep stretches, and wake ups - Emotional support and company if you're up during the night. I'll be there to chat, listen, or simply sit with you - Offering water, snacks, and encouragement during middle-of-the-night feeds - Maintaining a peaceful, calming environment to help your entire household rest - Helping to establish gentle nighttime rhythms and sleep routines My goal is to create a restful, supportive presence so that you can face the next day with a little more strength, peace, and sleep.

I cannot recommend Trisha highly enough. From the very beginning, she was an incredible source of steady guidance and reassurance as I navigated the unknowns of new motherhood. Her depth of knowledge, calm presence, and thoughtful support made such a meaningful difference during a vulnerable and transformative time. She was always punctual, professional, and completely reliable—but what truly set her apart was the genuine care she showed for our family. She took the time to listen and to support me not just physically, but emotionally. She anticipated needs I didn’t even know I had yet and helped me feel more confident, capable, and at peace in my role as a new mother. Over time, she became far more than just our doula—she became a trusted confidante and a dear friend. Her presence brought comfort and warmth into our home, and I will always be deeply grateful for the role she played in our postpartum journey. Any family would be extraordinarily lucky to have her by their side.

Trisha has been such a blessing to us! We were very sleep deprived and as a postpartum doula she came in and gave us the rest we needed! I could tell she really cared for our baby, and that was so important to me as a first time mom. Now that our son is out of the newborn phase, we will continue to work with Trisha for babysitting services! I highly recommend working with her!

We have had the joy of having Trisha as part of our family for almost four years. She has cared for my children (and me) through every milestone- breastfeeding, walking, toddler etc. With her prior childcare experiences and a distinct ability to truly hear and act on our parenting wants; Trisha anticipates scenarios and develops an environment with open communication, trust and play. She is a gift to parents that want the best for their children, and themselves.

We’ve been so fortunate to have Trisha helping to care for our baby since he was just 2 months old. She’s not only incredibly reliable and professional, but also nurturing and attentive — it’s clear she loves what she does. From day one, she brought calm, warmth, and gentle care to our home, making both our baby and us feel completely at ease. If you’re looking for someone who combines professionalism with great instincts and a kind heart, Trisha is the perfect choice!

Trisha is a confident and nurturing newborn caregiver and a true professional. I know my daughter is in great hands when she’s in our home and she does a great job communicating and balancing our routines with baby’s queues and needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for postpartum support!
