Significant life shifts are rarely meant to be carried alone. Pregnancy and birth are transformative and sacred. You deserve to be heard, supported and advocated for during this amazing phase of life and I would be honoured to be a part of that journey. Located in the Kawartha Lakes centered around the Peterborough area, I am an inclusive and non-judgemental mother of two. Having a doula at my second birth changed my world, so much that it inspired me to be that kind of support person for others! I'm very passionate and excited to learn the supports you are specifically looking for in a birth Doula. As for me, I am most passionate about advocating for your preferences and supporting you in such a way that you feel confident, calm and safe in your birthing environment. What matters to you, matters to me! Do you need lots of dialogue and having things explained so that there is no confusion? Would you like the focus to be more on pain management and comfort measures? Is the focus more to be advocated for, ensuring you feel heard and connected? I look forward to hearing from you and going over everything at length so that you are confident in the care and support you would receive from me.
