Tamra Stone
About me
Hello! I’m a certified full spectrum doula dedicated to providing compassionate and judgment-free support to families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. I value community, connection, and honoring each family’s unique journey. As a doula, I practice through a trauma-informed lens. This means I prioritize your psychological safety, bodily autonomy, and emotional well-being across all reproductive journeys. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and fully in control of your choices, while actively working to minimize stress and prevent retraumatization in medical or personal spaces. My goal is to create a safe and empowering space where parents feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. My background is in elementary education and I owned and facilitated a licensed child care home for many years prior to teaching. I enjoy watching families grow and thrive. In my spare time, I love gardening, traveling the world, and learning about other cultures.

Ratings and reviews
I first met Tamra while she was volunteering to teach Native American children how to make regalia. My children loved her and she was incredibly patient and kind, with a passion for education. Imagine my delight when I found out she had become a doula right after I found out I was pregnant with my third child. She knew I didn’t have a large budget and she worked with me and supported me every step of the way, from prenatal visits, birth, lactation support, then when I was feeling defeated, she stepped in to help with newborn support. Within two weeks, my new daughter was sleeping on a schedule and I was finally able to catch up on sleep. I truly don’t know how I could have done it without her. She also used her own Native American heritage to make me feel comfortable, including smudging my space, cooking indigenous meals, and blessing my home and family.
