I'm planning to give birth at a hospital. I have Tricare insurance, and they will cover up to six visits with a doula and one "untimed" visit for the birth event. I only plan on using the services covered by my insurance. I have a pretty extensive birth plan, with essentially as little interventions as possible. I can provide more details on this later! For the provider, I am looking for someone kind who can advocate for me at the hospital.

This is my first baby and I plan to give birth at a birth center. My insurance doesn't cover a doula so my budget would be $1500. I would like my provider to have experience with severe back pain. I want to learn different pain management techniques and receive information on how my husband can help during the labor process. For lactation I would like to work with an IBCLC if possible.
