I will forever remember being in labor and knowing that I was safe, it was my husbands hands on my hips, and Sheila's soothing words keeping me in check for the unmediated birth I was wanting. I had explained to Sheila exactly what I was looking for and she really came in and met all of my needs. We were in contact through my prodromal labor and when my doctor was trying to push an early induction. She was always calm and the educated support I was looking for. During labor she was quick to speak for me when I couldn't and was the voice I needed during the most intense contractions. So thankful and grateful for her presence during my birth experience!

My beautiful baby Jasmine is officially two months and looking back on my pregnancy and labor. I would have to say the biggest thing I’m thankful for was my Dula Sheila! From the beginning, I knew that I wanted to get a Doula, but was worried about the price and after doing some research I was stumped, and then my insurance provider informed me of the services and I was blessed to be able to find her. If if I had to put a number as a rating, I would say 100 out of a 10 she was efficient kind sweet always got back to me if not immediately within a reasonable time and it was such a blessing to have her to be able to put all my worries at ease when they arose. When it comes to my actual birth, she was there from the beginning, coaching me, guiding me, encouraging me and supporting me through every hour and push until my beautiful Jasmine arrived without her there I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through it with such confidence. truly 10 out of 10 experience and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can rely on to have their back for support and guidance with knowledge.

Sheila was honestly the best thing about my birth (besides the baby). I would have never been able to get through it the way i did without her. she's amazing at what she does and knows exactly what she's doing. Beyond knowledgeable! She kept me as calm and collected as you could be during labor. For it being my first time - i have her to thank for having such a good experience and will 100% be calling her for the next one! i had so many questions and concerns and she walked me through each and everyone of them and stayed by my side the entire time. I'm a very worrisome person and she was able to keep me grounded the whole time and i can't thank her enough. We had lots of laughs and happy cries and it was just perfect. genuinely so grateful to have met her and have her as my doula!

So grateful to Shelia for the incredible support she gave me during my pregnancy as a first-time mom. My water broke well before contractions started, and when I arrived at the birth center, she met my husband and me there right away. We quickly found out I was only 3 cm dilated and had a long road ahead. She stayed by our side through everything, and when it became necessary to transfer to the hospital, she continued to support us without hesitation. In total, it was a 24hr journey, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through it without her. Shelia felt more like a friend than anything else! Calming, supportive, and always present. She even took photos for us, which we’ll cherish forever. I’m beyond grateful for her care and would recommend her to anyone.

I can’t say enough great things about my doula, Sheila. This was my fourth birth, but my first time having a doula and trying for a natural birth and I truly couldn’t have done it without her. She supported me every step of the way with breathing techniques, massages, and talking me through each contraction. She also helped my husband understand how to support me, which made such a big difference. Throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, she was always there answering my questions, explaining everything, and making sure I felt informed and confident. Sheila was my angel during pregnancy. We hired her probably during week 8 because having a doula was a priority for us. I had a very difficult pregnancy and was in triage at least 8 times. She was on call and available to talk for every single one to guide me and reassure me. She was a support for my husband who needed just as much reassurance. We ended up having a C-section due to breach positioning but she walked us through every step and was there to support us afterwards. We can’t thank her enough!! She’s a rockstar!

Sheila was a wonderful doula! She has a great demeanor, very calm, and explains things accurately and thoroughly. She took her time with us to explain various aspects of the birthing process and covered many topics that we didn't even think to ask. She wanted to make sure we were 100% comfortable and informed. She always attended every appointment on time and arrived at the hospital well before the delivery which was perfect. At the hospital, she helped support my birth plan and wishes by explaining what's currently happening, what to expect, any options or alternatives, suggesting different laboring positions, etc. We couldn't have been happier and definitely recommend her.

From the very first time I spoke on the phone to arrange a meeting with Shelia Dilling, I felt instantly comfortable with her. As a first-time mom, I was nervous but determined to have an unmedicated birth, and Shelia gave me the confidence, knowledge, and calm I needed to make that happen. From her attentiveness and help with planning—providing birth plan templates and guiding my husband and I through both a Plan A and Plan B—to the moment labor began, her knowledge and reassurance gave me the strength to move forward with confidence that I could have a positive birth. When labor started, Shelia was there right away. She walked laps with me, helped relieve contractions with hip squeezes, and gently guided me through different positions to help my body progress. She came completely prepared with everything—from a labor comb and soothing music to thoughtful reminders that helped me stay grounded and focused through every wave. One of the things I appreciated most was how she advocated for me when I needed something—like getting the birth pool filled—and how she intuitively knew when to suggest trying it to help ease my transition. She was my voice when I was too tired to speak and my calm when I felt like I couldn’t go any further. She ensured I had everything I needed without even having to ask. Shelia never left my side. She comforted me when I was exhausted and even helped hold my leg during pushing. Her presence was steady, kind, and full of compassion. With my full permission, she even got the most amazing photos during my labor and with the birth of our baby that I will have to remember it forever. After our baby was born, she checked in on us for a postpartum appointment, making sure I was recovering well and reminding me that she was always available if I had questions as a new mom. I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her. She made me feel safe, cared for, and strong through one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I will forever be grateful that Shelia Dilling was part of our birth story.

Sheila was an outstanding doula who made a significant impact on our birthing experience. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive, answering all of our questions without ever coming off as a know-it-all. Oh man where do I even start with this sweet lady! Initially meeting her was such an ease to talk to. She made me feel like we were old friends catching up and allowed me explain any all feelings for what I wanted for my next experience. She was extra prepared with a birth plan and we went over it in grand detail even if things were to change later on. While we did Initially discuss a VBAC as the plan to go with in the beginning it didn't end with one due how baby was positioned and previous birth circumstances. Sheila was there for me for 5 months and answered any and all questions I had with pregnancy and birthing plan. This wonderful lady went out of her way to accompany me on 1 of my prenatal visits due to a provider change. Having her there (with hubby too) made me feel even comfortable with my experience somewhere new. Towards the end of my pregnancy I shared my concerns that this baby was too big and I felt like I was being ignored and she called into my providers office (with me on the phone) and expressed concerns for me as I felt like I was not being heard. Because of her my scheduled C-section was moved up sooner with her help. My little kiddo made an appearance a day before the scheduled day. She still made sure to reach out to me and check to make sure I and baby were doing good. I would highly recommend her to any new and experienced mom. Shes incredibly sweet, kind and loving. Book her for your next birth doula!

I found Sheila two ish weeks before my induction date. She took my birth on no problem. We met once over the phone initially and then twice in person. I ended up going into labor two days before my induction date and she arrived at the hospital in no time. Sheila is the most comforting person, considering we didn't have much time to really get to know each other. She's very knowledgeable and her voice is very comforting especially during labor. Without Sheila I would've missed out on a lot of photos being taken, my favorite one she took was when they placed my baby on me right at delivery. Sheila has consistently checked in on my family throughout the first week of having my first child and has rooted for my breastfeeding journey. We are planning our postpartum visit soon to ensure my baby and I are settling well!! Again she is FANTASTIC and a wonderful person to be around
