Shauna Worthington
About me
Hello! My name is Shauna and I can’t wait to support you! I am happy to be in Monterey County where I live with my two wonderful children, adoring husband and fluffy dog. I enjoy caring for those around me and always have. Cooking is how I show my love for others and it brings me joy when I can share a meal with anyone! After the birth of my son, I was welcomed into a new community of people with a wealth of information and knowledge to share. I was blown away by the care I received during and after pregnancy. I realized how important all the information I had learned had helped me have a better pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. I want to be sure that all families benefit from this knowledge. I became a Doula to continue to support those around me. Being pregnant was the most empowering time of my life and I hope to support you as you welcome new emotions and experiences during this transition to parenthood. I want to help you feel empowered and experience the wonderful journey the way you envision it! I will be with you to provide individualized evidence based information, community resources to fit your needs and desires, and a loving support system throughout your prenatal and postpartum period

Service introduction
I offer something for every stage you are in. I offer support based on your needs. I love to teach Childbirth education to get you ready for labor and learning more about your pregnancy if we can get together earlier in your pregnancy. I support you through nutrition with meals and snacks to prep for labor, get through labor or heal and recover during the postpartum. I also offer consultation services to help to plan and talk through preferences for your birth/labor and your postpartum journey. I offer birth story processing and maternal mental health support especially during the postpartum but maternal mental health is important in every step of your journey. I also support abortion and loss.
