About me

I am a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula serving the greater Portland Maine region and beyond. I believe every birth and birthing parent is unique and deserves the support and encouragement of a doula that encourages their unique experiences. The birth and postpartum period can be full of a wide range of emotions and feelings and I truly honor and hold space during this sacred time. I offer on-call services from 38 weeks of gestation until birth with prenatal preparation appointments provided before this time. Continuous labor support is provided with emotional support, natural pain management techniques, encouragement as well as assistance in navigating communications with medical teams. I also provide postpartum support for families which includes care for both birth parent and infant, support with baby feeding, house hold duties, family support, emotional support and additional resource and references. Postpartum support really helps the new family transition into their new roles and life with compassionate support along the way.
