About me

Hello and welcome! I’m Sasha Sumling, a licensed massage therapist of 14 years, certified birth and postpartum doula, infant massage instructor, and Evidence Based Birth® Instructor. I’m deeply passionate about supporting mothers through every stage of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum with a hands-on, heart-centered approach. My journey as a massage therapist began with the belief that touch is powerful and deeply healing. It was a natural step for me to become a doula, where I could bring that same healing presence into the birthing space—offering not only physical relief but emotional and spiritual support when it matters most. I bring to every birth: • Therapeutic, intuitive touch • A calm and reassuring voice • A warm, relatable presence • A sense of humor that puts you at ease • And a deep commitment to advocacy and education My mission is to be a steady and empowering presence for women—especially those navigating high-risk pregnancies, stress, anxiety, or difficult life circumstances. I believe in creating sacred, safe spaces where mothers feel seen, supported, and confident as they bring life into the world. As your doula, I’ll walk alongside you, offering evidence-based information, compassionate care, and unwavering support before, during, and after birth.
