Hi — I’m Sampaguita Thank you for being here. I’m a birth worker, student midwife, and lifelong advocate for reproductive and sexual bodily autonomy for every body. My work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves choice, access, safety, and power in their reproductive journeys. I’m especially honored to support individuals and communities whose lineages have had to fight for this freedom — whether that meant the right to give birth and raise children, or the right not to. It is a sacred calling to support people through the transformative journeys of pregnancy, labor, postpartum, and parenting, and I hold this responsibility with deep gratitude. I bring a lived, embodied lens to this work as a... - Non-binary lesbian - Mixed 2nd-generation Filipino-American - Birth worker with nearly 10 years of experience - Working-class upbringing - Covid cautious and harm reductionist - Living with chronic pain and disabilities

My services include physical, emotional, and informational support in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I offer continuous presence and compassionate care as you navigate your pregnancy options and outcomes. Working with me includes: an initial intake, prenatal visits, full labor and birth support, immediate postpartum support, early postpartum visits, unlimited virtual support, and on-call availability leading up to your EDD. My goal at our prenatal visits is to support you in feeling confident and clear in your options for labor and delivery. We get there through building an understanding of your vision, learning what's grounding to you, and exploring different labor comfort measures. In your postpartum visits, I'm there to support your rest and recovery, newborn care and bonding, and emotional processing of your birth experience. As your doula, I'll never make decisions for you-- but I will support you in feeling capable to ask the questions you need to feel strong about your yes's, maybe's, and no's.
Sampaguita was the main reason I was able to get through my birth easefully. I feel so lucky we found such an aligned birth worker that allowed my partner and I to feel safe and seen especially as a queer couple so we could really let our guard down during the whole process and after! Sampaguita taught us so many things that supported our newborn in the weeks after birth too and even cooked nourishing meals that reminded me of my family growing up. I felt like I could enjoy time with my baby instead of being exhausted. Sampaguita’s skill sets and presence brought our family the comfort and guidance we really needed and I am so so grateful
