About me
Hi! My name is Rylee DeBois. I am a certified Birth Works International labor doula! I'm also a wife and mother. I am taking out-of-pocket clients but am also Tricare certified, serving military families in my area. I am so fascinated by the body's natural birthing process as a whole that this schooling doesn't even feel like school to me. I believe women were born with the instincts needed to give birth and that my job as a doula is to help the birthing mother realize this fact with whatever support she may be seeking. I want to help you have the birth you want. Birth is spontaneous but I will be there every step of the way.

Service introduction
I offer pre-natal appointments with extensive childbirth education for you and your partner to prepare for the birthday. I do births in hospital, home, or birth center but will not do a "free birth" without a midwife or doctor present. I also offer to meet with your provider at some point during your pregnancy to establish trust between all parties if desired. I always include a postpartum follow-up a week after delivery and am available for basic lactation support (although that is not my expertise).

Rylee was such a great support during my first labor & delivery! She came over to our house several times beforehand to get to know and prepare us for what to expect. She listened intentionally and was very knowledgeable. When delivery day came, she brought a calm and peaceful presence that I am forever grateful for. I am glad she was a part of our story and would recommend her to anybody wanting extra support in the delivery room and the days/weeks leading up to it!

Rylee was awesome! She was available to answer all of my questions and help me prepare for birth while I was pregnant and, the day of birth, she was a godsend. She ensured I was as comfortable as possible and kept my husband and mother-in-law involved in the process. She was helpful postpartum too, by checking in on me and providing breastfeeding advice. I couldn’t have imagined braving this experience without her - I am so thankful for her help!
