My name is Vanessa and I’m a mother of two beautiful children & wife to my supportive husband Adam. We have been blessed to have been married 13 years this summer. I have worked with new mothers & newborns for over 14 years mainly in a hospital setting, then was blessed to be able to stay home as I raised my babies, when my daughter started kindergarten I decided to transition out of the hospital setting and got certified as a postpartum doula to be able to support new mothers and newborns in a more holistic way. I truly have a passion for serving and helping others. I believe the postpartum / 4th trimester stage is a crucial one that should be focused on healing, resting, bonding, nourishing, and fully embracing & enjoying those first precious moments with your new bundle of joy. My mission is to support & nurture new mothers so they can feel a weight lifted off as they savor this challenging, but rewarding time with their newborn and family.

Meredith is a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, certified women’s hormone specialist, cycle + fertility coach, menstruation educator, and mother to three amazing kids, ages 7, 5 and 3. She loves everything about the menstrual cycle–hormones, menstruation, fertility, birth, postpartum, and menopause. She loves teaching women (and families) how to use their cycle to balance their lives (and their hormones) and accomplish their goals for growing their family, or not. But Birth has a special place in Meredith’s heart. She came to birth work on a Thursday afternoon driving home from her Human Resources job. She was complaining about her job to her sister and her sister’s response was, “you should go be a Doula”. What’s a Doula? After her sister explained what a Doula does, a voice inside of her said, “I was born to do that”. She was in Doula training the next month and she has never looked back. She loves being with families and witnessing their growth and transformation as they move through the birth and postpartum process. Meredith excels at supporting families through natural/unmedicated birth both in and out of the hospital, and a lot of her clients have great results from her support in delaying medication so that it supports their labor rather than hinders it. Meredith is passionate about families knowing their options, preparing well, and tapping into the spiritual nature of the birth process to create an empowering experience. Additionally, she excels at assisting families to set up healthy rhythms for maximized nighttime sleep, feeding and bonding postpartum.
Meredith is an amazing doula! She assisted with our birth and my husband and I felt that we would have been lost without her. She maintained boundaries/wishes, was super knowledgeable and provided such a calming presence and emotional support! She had a great sense of humor and really added positivity to our birth experience.

Hello! My name is Haley, and I am a certified full-spectrum birthworker. I am passionate about supporting all birthing bodies and holding space for life’s big moments. I love being a steady presence and firm advocate for people throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum experiences. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also focus on providing inclusive care for people of all sexes, gender identities, relationship models, races, and beliefs. I have always had an interest in the birth world, but for the first 20 years of my life, I was dedicated to pursuing my love for dance. I moved to Salt Lake City from Akron, Ohio in 2018 to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet from the University of Utah. While I was studying for my degree, I started reading everything I could find about becoming a birthworker. My interest turned into an obsession and after dancing professionally for a year post-grad, I felt ready to take a break from dance and pursue birth work full time! As your birth support, I lean on my intuition and learned skills to guide me. Entering your space with a regulated nervous system allows me to tap into that intuition and support you to the best of my abilities. I believe that birth is one of the most transformative life experiences and I love helping people prepare for it! As your postpartum support, I meet you where you are and embrace the unknown with you. The postpartum journey looks different for everyone, and each day comes with new challenges and joys. I feel honored every time I am able to support a new family and watch them thrive during this vulnerable, beautiful time. When I’m not geeking out about placentas and newborn reflexes, you can find me camping in the Uintas, doing yoga in my living room, hiking, snowboarding, dancing, singing bad karaoke at local dive bars, and spending time with my husband and our two cats.

I am a proud boy mom to three wonderful boys who will someday change the world. I am an Army Medic and EMT. I love helping people, but felt called to develop my passion for birth work after my second child was born in the height of COVID during an amazing home birth. I have learned that there is so much to be honored in pregnancy, the birthing space, and the postpartum period, and I love being able to help families feel empowered and supported during those transitions.
Lehi, Utah
Passion for helping others has been ingrained in me for as long as I can recall. Creating a secure space where individuals can embrace vulnerability and find unwavering support is a facet of my character that brings me immense pride. No one should feel alone; it has always been my inclination to extend beyond expectations, offering a comforting presence to loved ones and patients navigating moments of solitude and unease during transitions in hospitals. To me, being your Doula is not just providing you counter pressure and support. It’s about creating that positive birth space for you, where you can completely surrender and lay trust into your surroundings! Where you can be fully present with yourself and your baby as they transition from being a part of you on the inside and into one of their own in your arms on the outside. This is your story that I, as your doula, am honored to be a part of. You are in control of your birth space and who is in it! For each of my birth clients, I craft personally written affirmation cards and offer assistance in materializing your dream birth space. Post-birth, as the fourth trimester unfolds, I step into a role of unique support. This chapter, where families acquaint themselves with quirks and routines, is as distinctive as each individual. As a postpartum doula, I provide physical and mental support—whether it’s lactation guidance, rest, household chores, meal prepping, or engaging in profound conversations about life. In moments of exhaustion and when things seem askew, always remember: You are enough! Beyond my doula work, I engage with clients through informative calls, providing education on a spectrum of topics ranging from childbirth and parenting to Montessori principles. When I’m not immersed in these enlightening conversations, my off-hours are a dynamic blend of creativity and rejuvenation. To stay grounded and invigorated, I venture outdoors, whether it’s through the exhilarating experience of cold plunging or the serenity of a hike in nature.
Madison was crucial in my positive postpartum experience. As our postpartum doula, she helped me, a first time mom, navigate the new realm of caring for my exhausted body while learning about and caring for my newborn. I couldn’t imagine anyone else in my little bubble with me. She had so much expertise and really had a way with my baby. She encouraged confidence in me and allowed for much needed rest whenever I needed it. I can’t recommend her enough. I’d hire her over and over again.

After the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Even though I had a good support system, there were many factors at play that left me feeling depressed, anxious, and like I wasn't a good mom. Thankfully, I was able to receive appropriate care and I was soon feeling better! I felt so incredibly loved and held as I did the work to recover. Because of the wonderful support I experienced from the birth and postpartum world, I decided to transition from my former career of 16 years as a veterinary technician. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula through CAPPA and I am so excited to continue supporting the new families in my community!

Hello! I'm Kaytalyn Winston, Doula of The Mothering Co. I would love to support your Motherhood Journey. At The Mothering Co. we believe that every mother deserves to feel fully supported during each season and that each season needs to be fully honored. We desire to partner with women as a guide in this sacred journey into motherhood by empowering them to trust how their bodies were created, to use their voice, trust their intuition and wisdom, and through holistic education. Motherhood is challenging and beautiful work, and we are here to support and honor you every step of the way.
My husband and I were lucky enough to have Kaytalyn as our doula. It was our first child and although we did a lot of prep work for our delivery, we also really had no idea how it was going to go. Thankfully we had Kaytalyn’s experience to help guide us through our daughter’s delivery. Her grounding, calm, and supportive presence helped guide both of us. Her voice was so strong and steady, which helped me through each step of delivery. She was truly such a delight and we couldn’t possibly think of anyone else being about of our birth story.

Hello, I'm Madi! I’m honored to walk alongside you as we explore the world of childbirth together. My own birth experience was a mix of empowerment and trauma, leading to self-doubt and a loss of confidence. However, through those challenges, I discovered a deeper appreciation for motherhood, birth, informed consent, and the resilience of our bodies. I'm so excited to support you through this journey of spirituality and the unstoppable feeling that comes with embracing motherhood.

Hi! I'm Morgan, I'm a newer birth doula who's committed to helping you have the most positive birth experience you could possibly have! I'm passionate about helping you advocate for yourself and being someone you can truly lean on and trust in such a chaotic but beautiful moment of your life. I'm someone to consider particularly if you have trouble speaking up for yourself with medical professionals, or maybe a difficult family member who's overstepping boundaries and you would like help. I also am LGBTQ+ friendly and affirming.
I wish I could give Morgan 10 stars. She was amazing throughout my entire experience. She helped me through my 33 hours of mostly unmedicated labor by providing foot and head massages, hip pressure, back rubs, and so much more. She also made sure the hospital staff were aware of my birth plan and advocated for me and helped me decide what was right when they suggested we deviate from it. She made labor and delivery so much better than it would have been that I will never have another baby without her.

I have been teaching somatics for over 12 years throughout my local Salt Lake City community. I acquired my BFA in Modern Dance and Education from the University of Utah in 2009 and shortly after gained my yoga teacher training in Hatha and Prenatal Yoga. I am a certified DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula, an ICEA accredited childbirth educator, parenting group coordinator, mental health advocate and community organizer. All of the diverse education and training, as well as years of experience, provided me the space to confidently educate the community of expectant parents during their reproductive years, while simultaneously providing unbiased evidence based care. I believe that guiding people to fine tune their own personal intuition and strength allows them to live a happier, well balanced and meaningful life.

My name is Jillian Cain and I am so excited to begin my journey as a postpartum doula. I hope to be able to support families in the Salt Lake City area, including as far east as Park City, Heber, Midway. I believe that postpartum care is just as much about caring for the mother as it is caring for the child. If the mother feels confident and supported, they are able to be more present and relaxed while supporting their new family member. Whether this is your first or third child, I believe a postpartum doula can help change the first 12 weeks after you give birth.

Hello, My name is Johanna and I am a certified postpartum doula and gentle sleep coach based in Daybreak, Utah! I love supporting families in their postpartum journey. I am happy to help wherever it is needed: caring for the birthing parent or the newborn, helping with older siblings, cooking, and overall helping you navigate life with a new baby! Moreover, I offer holistic sleep support that is tailored to your family. I don't work with any separation-based sleep training methods such as Ferber and CIO. Instead, we look for gentle and realistic ways to improve your baby's sleep. In addition to my trainings, I hold a master's degree in Psychology and am CPR/first aid certified. In my free time, I love to travel, read, do pilates, and do the crossword. I mainly serve clients in and around SLC but am open to travel assignments!
Johanna was our babysitter for our son Peter from 10 months until 2,5 y.o. And our daughter Clara from the first week to 5 months. Johanna is an amazing care taker, she is very knowledgeable and experience across all ages. She is very kind and loving with the kids, and can create a strong bound with them very quickly. She also know how to be strict and make sure that rules are being followed. We would also ask her for advice for sleep training as well as more little things like how to get our son be improve his skills with his balance bike. She always came up with great input and feedback. We all loved her dearly, she became a family member to us, and we hope you can now enjoy her service as much as we did.

Jorie is a birth + postpartum doula and loves every moment of it. She’s certified through Birth Boot Camp and has also trained as a VBAC doula to support clients having a vaginal birth after cesarean. At the young age of 15, Jorie had the privilege of attending her first nephew's birth, an experience that ignited a deep-seated passion within her for supporting families during pregnancy and beyond. Once she experienced that birth, she continued to attend the rest of her nephews + nieces births and took to being the friend or sister who sat with loved ones in their postpartum days. She is known for her warmth, patience, and intuitive ability to learn and guide people in the newness of parenthood. Whether Jorie’s clients find themselves in the midst of labor or navigating the beautiful chaos of life with a newborn, she is there to walk alongside them every step of the way. With her training and hands-on life experience, Jorie’s aim is to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment where her clients feel empowered to make decisions that resonate with their unique journey. Beyond her doula duties, you’ll often find Jorie working on her hobbies and crafts, throwing on her pottery wheel or hanging with her family. She believes in finding joy in life's simple pleasures and cherishing every moment of the journey. She is deeply honored to accompany her clients on their path to parenthood, offering unwavering support, guidance, and a sprinkle of joy & laughter along the way!
I highly recommend Jorie as a doula, both for birth and postpartum! She is SO kind and caring. During birth, she’s an expert at knowing how to advocate for you, encourage you, and what comfort measures to use. Postpartum is also so much better with extra help! Jorie is the best, so thankful for her! :)

Hello, I’m Lauren- a mother to two daughters and a holistic labor + traditional postpartum doula with an education focused on the Ayurvedic philosophy. I view pregnancy, birth, and the process of becoming a mother as not only a physical event; but a spiritual experience as well. In your most sacred spaces, I act as a gentle guide +space holder in pregnancy, labor, postpartum and beyond. Supporting mothers/families during their greatest transitions, and weaving in ritual+cereomy as a means to support and honor these initiations and grand transitions is a passion of mine. It is through my own difficult experiences with child birth and the Matrescence time, that I feel deeply called to give other mothers/families what I did not receive. It takes a village to raise a mother. None of us were meant to do this alone, nor should we have to!
As a midwife, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many doulas, and Lauren stands out as truly exceptional. She brings a calm, grounded presence to every birth, with an intuitive sense of what is needed in each moment. Her gentle, steady voice and unwavering support help birthing people feel safe, seen, and empowered—no matter the setting. Her deep knowledge and experience make her an invaluable part of any birth team. She collaborates seamlessly with care providers and brings stamina, grace, and compassion to every stage of the journey. Her postpartum care is equally thoughtful, with a strong focus on holistic maternal healing, both physical and emotional. I recommend her without hesitation. She’s a rare and steady force in this work.

Being involved in birth work has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Social work where I found joy in listening, and empowering people. Soon after graduating I gave birth to my first daughter and it reignited my passion for birth and desire to want all mamas to have a positive experience during childbirth. I completed my doula training with songbird maternity learning skills to support mothers such as breathing exercises, optimal positions for labor and pushing, massage and more. I am excited to help you learn more about the beauty of childbirth and feel empowered and amazed at what your mind, body, and baby can do when they all work together!
Charlee was absolutely phenomenal, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with her by my side. From start to finish, she exuded kindness, positivity, and an incredibly calming presence that was exactly what I needed during my unmedicated birth. Charlee’s unwavering support extended not only to me but seamlessly integrated with my entire support team, creating an atmosphere of unity and encouragement. Her expertise shined as she offered a variety of tools and techniques that proved invaluable during labor and delivery. But what truly stood out was her constant reminder to trust my body and intuition. Those words of reassurance became my anchor, helping me stay grounded and empowered through every contraction and every step of the process. Charlee is more than a doula—she’s a game-changer in birth support. I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re considering hiring her, don’t hesitate—she is simply the best!

I became passionate about birth the moment I found out I was pregnant for the first time. Deciding to go through natural child birth was something I always knew I wanted to do and having a doula by my side, as part of my birth team, was something enhanced my birth experienced and allowed me to feel taken care of. It inspired me to want to do for other mothers. I am honored, and blessed to be a part of the births I have been thus far and hope to be able to attend to plenty more.

Hello! I am an Utah County birth doula with a specialty in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition. I got my bachelors degree in Health Science from Utah State and worked 2 years at a holistic health clinic. I help women with fertility and preconception. I am passionate about helping women become completely prepared for labor so that it can be a joyful and empowering experience for them. I believe that birth is a sacred experience, and am honored to hold space and witness that with women!
As a first time mom, I was so thankful to have Kenadee as my doula. She provided very useful information and education regarding the whole process. I felt very prepared and confident going into labor. Kenadee was very responsive to all my questions and was also easy to communicate with. She met us at the hospital and stayed with me and my husband throughout a very long labor. We were so thankful to have Kenadee helping keep us calm and helping to keep me as comfortable as possible, especially when things didn’t go quite as planned. She stayed with us after delivery to make sure I was doing okay and even met with us postpartum to check in and make sure we were transitioning home okay. I would 100% recommend Kenadee due to her professionalism, knowledge, calm demeanor and caring personality.
