Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Renea, and I founded Roots of Radiance from a deep passion for supporting families through some of life's most transformative experiences. As a birth and postpartum doula, mindfulness coach, Certified Medical Assistant, and healthcare educator with more than a decade of experience, I bring together evidence-based knowledge, compassionate care, and a holistic approach to emotional well-being. My journey into birth work led me to support families within birthing center settings, working alongside midwives and witnessing firsthand the strength, vulnerability, and beauty of the transition into parenthood. These experiences continue to shape the way I serve my clients today, with steady guidance, practical support, and a deep respect for each family's unique path. I believe that birth and postpartum are not simply events to move through, but profound rites of passage that deserve thoughtful preparation, meaningful support, and space for personal growth. Whether you are preparing to welcome your first baby or adding to your family, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and connected to yourself throughout the journey. Service is at the heart of everything I do. In addition to supporting my clients, I volunteer with families in my local community through Austin Angels, an organization dedicated to providing consistent support and meaningful connections to children, caregivers, and families. As an extension of that commitment, a portion of every Roots of Radiance booking is directed toward supporting the families I serve through these outreach efforts. Service introduction

As a dedicated doula with extensive experience in health and wellness, I offer compassionate, informed support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. In addition to my background in the medical field, I have experience working within a birthing center, supporting families and working directly alongside midwives during labor and delivery. This hands-on experience allows me to provide calm, confident care while remaining deeply respectful of both physiological birth and appropriate medical support when needed. Working together looks like: • Personalized emotional and practical support, including individualized care planning and birth plans, rooted in one-on-one birth experience supporting both mother and newborn • Continuous support throughout labor and delivery, offering a calm, steady presence, hands-on assistance, and informed advocacy so you feel supported, seen, and safe • Education, resources, and guidance to support your well-being during pregnancy and a healthy transition into the postpartum period Packages are available for convenience; services can always be tailored and discussed on an individual basis to best support each client’s unique needs.
