Hello, my name is Ugo Edu and I am a praying doula living in Palmdale, CA. I am certified as a full-spectrum doula, holistic fertility doula, and a childbirth educator. I work with women and couples to be as prepared as possible for birth and postpartum. I have a research background and passion for maternal and reproductive health and substantial training to support your fertility, birth, and postpartum needs. As a birth worker I have attended 106 births in various settings including home, birth center, and hospitals. Throughout my own life’s journey starting at a very young three years old, I have both fallen deeply in love with all things holistic and gathered various skills that have made me the woman I am today. My intention is to teach women to know and understand their worth and individuality by providing them hope and confidence in themselves. By integrating my knowledge of both western medicine as well as complementary and alternative medicine I am able to initiate self-efficacy for women throughout their lifespan and birth experiences. In my free time, you’ll find me at the beach, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends and always with a cup of tea.
